This is gut rot. The only thing good on the menu is the sushi and the crab legs when and if they serve them.

Food was not good!!! Ice cream freezer burned, sweet n sour chicken fried till hard, noodles had odd taste, shrimp grilled at hibachi tasted old!! And the lady always argues with us not wanting to give us our Sunday Senior discount. Have tried several times and always an issue with the food! read more

Awful service, took 20 min even get silverware!! Wouldn't recommend 2 a homeless person if it was free!!! Rude waiters, and then they tried overcharging us by $12.65. I've had better Chinese and sushi from a grocery store!! Don't recommend!!!! read more

This was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I will never come back. I will make sure every one here's about this. There was numerous types of trays empty, the waitresses were extremely rude. We felt like we were being pushed out of the restaurant. Also no one knows how to mop up water. One waitress was trying to soak up water with cardboard AFTER someone fell right behind me. Great food! This place is a go-to whenever my family and I visit Findlay. They have a Hibachi grill and a great selection of sushi. My favorites are the general tso's chicken and clams shit ( not sure what it's called but it's a flavorful crab mixture baked in a clam shell)! read more

This place used to be one of our favorite places to eat when we went to town to get groceries. I wasn't too expensive and the food, for a buffet, was awesome. Even the sushi we saw was fresh made.... That was only for a few months. After about a year, the food got cold and tasted bland or horrible. And the last few times we went we ended up with food poisoning. We narrowed the last poisoning to the sushi as the kids were fine. Spring for the better and safer sushi at places like tokyo stakehouse. read more

Honestly I wouldn't eat here.. my boyfriend found a piece of plastic in his sushi and the sushi was stale and seemed like it had been left out for hours. The food was cold and stale as well and seemed as though it had also been left out. The food tasted bland and the variety wasn't the greatest either. When asking if we could get a refund when we found plastic in the sushi the lady just looked at me and went away. She then came back with a piece of plastic that was not the same AT ALL and tried to say that was what was in our sushi. Me and my boyfriend just chuckled because okay lady that still doesn't mean I want to eat it Thankfully they did take my meal off seeing as I didn't eat anything and my boyfriend had about two plates so they took a dollar off of his. In the end the food was gross and cold and no one should ever find plastic in their food but they did help, not without me complaining though. read more

The atmosphere here is terrible, silent and awkward. The "waitresses" don't do anything besides grab drinks then try to force you to tip. Constantly reminded that the tip is not included on the bill. The top line was even circled multiple times. The food is pretty rank, it's like cold microwave food piled into tins. I don't recommend this place at all. I love this restaurant. They have a large variety of dishes. They are quick with service, & I never leave hungry. Their prices are way reasonable too considering lots of their customers consume a great deal of food in one sitting. It's my favorite Chinese buffet out of all that are located in Tiffin & Findlay. Most of the time this place is good,but I ate there today and it was GROSS! The bathrooms were not clean. It looked like they haven't been cleaned in some time. There was web's everywhere. Then I looked at the tv and there were vents under them and there was so much dust on them that you could tell they were not cleaned in a long time. Then the wait staff were very rude. And the food was not good at all. My mom was feeding my daughter some mashed potatoes off my plate that I had pushed back and had went to get more and one of the staff came and took the plate without asking if she was done with it. I waited several minutes to be seated even though the place wasn't busy. The staff walks around with earphones in making it hard to get their attention. Food was okay, mostly fried and pretty bland. Far from good and no where near spectacular. Sushi was horrible. The tuna was extremely fishy. I ordered a hot tea. However I wasn't brought lemon or honey and seeing how I couldn't get anyone's attention for about 10 minutes I left without finishing my plate. I ended up paying $12.00 for 3 pieces of sushi, and two bites of chicken. I tip regardless of food quality or service but I don't appreciate the staff ignoring me and then hounding me when it comes time to pay. I won't be back again. read more

So we went to Royal Buffet for lunch yesterday, and the food had obviously been sitting out for a while. Once they put out some fresh food, my husband went up to grab some food. The woman who runs the place promptly came over to him and took the plate out of his hands as he headed back to the table! She told him that they had just set out the dinner food, and that he'd have to pay extra to eat it. WHAT? We told her that the food they had out when we arrived (maybe 20 minutes before) was really gross and there wasn't much out, she said she'd give a discount then and THREW THE PLATE OF FOOD AWAY. Her reasoning he couldn't eat it, the DINNER ITEMS WERE TOO EXPENSIVE, but she THREW IT AWAY BECAUSE HE HAD SERVED IT. This was at around 330, BEFORE THEIR DINNER HOURS. So why would they set it out, unlabeled, and then tell paying customers they couldn't eat when they had had barely just gotten there. And the fact that she shrugged off bad food BECAUSE IT WAS "in between meal times" meant that they don't care if they serve disgusting food to customers, because if someone complains they knock $2 off the bill and count it as even. I've never had a problem with the service at the Royal Buffet here in Findlay. Typical buffet fare at a reasonable price. But on our most recent visits the wait staff seemed intent on getting us in and out as fast as possible. Pushing the check under my nose while I still had a half a plate of food in front of me and my two children were still eating ice cream. So we wen't ahead and paid planning on leaving a tip when we were finished and ready to leave. Except she just stood there and tapped her finger on the check saying "Tip?". I have never had a waitress straight ask me for a tip, nor have I ever been rushed out of a buffet. I would be willing to chalk this up to an isolated incident with a new waitress but a friend of mine shared a very similar story only a week before that I dismissed at the time. read more

I had been to Royal buffet in the past and I went there last night and the quality of their food/service has gone down considerably. We went in at 9:40 pm (they close at 10:30 on Friday nights) so almost an hour before they close. The welcome was cold and uninviting. So we went and got some food and most of the food was already cold!!! I didn't expect it to be 100% fresh but didn't expect it to taste hours old and be cold. Then to top it off we didn't even get our drinks until halfway through our meal ( they were not even busy had maybe 3 tables in there other than that) and did not get an apology from the waiter. I even made sure that they were open till 10:30 pm because of how they acted (they acted like they were closing at 10, we were out of there by 10:05 pm). We were also charged full price for rude service all around and crappy food. I and my fiancée will not be giving our service to them again and will never recommend them to anyone. read more
