The food is a 10/10 I've been multiple times throughout different days and every time they have something new on one of the tables and it's always tasty. Yes something might be cold later in the day. But when you're short staffed and ready to go home I understand that. There's no buffets that like to restock something a few minutes to an hour before they close for the day. This buffet is seriously lacking, but from what I understand, there aren't a lot of dining options in the area. I would've liked to get a salad, but they only had iceberg lettuce and due to it's lack of nutritional value I thought that to be a waste of space in my stomach. The only other veggie options I saw were overcooked green beans (limp and watery) and broccoli chicken or pepper chicken. All veggies come sauced and with chicken, apparently! What I did get onto my plate was hit or miss. The trend seemed to be that the Asian options were the best. The general tso's, sweet n' sour and teriyaki chicken were good. The teriyaki had a few dry pieces, but I think they just weren't that fresh. The same with the fried shrimp. It was really hard and tasted old. The egg roll was mushy and disappointing, though. The macaroni and cheese was disgusting. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted instant, but I have a soft spot for instant potatoes! A little salt and pepper and they were just fine. I had two helpings. I managed to find some plain ole steamed cauliflower that I paired with the clarified butter meant for the crab legs that were on special for Father's Day. The staff were nice and kept our plates cleared, but a refill of my soda was hard to come by. They do offer a 10% discount for seniors over the age of 60, which is nice. We finished off the meal with ice cream, served in individual cups. They also offered chocolate chip and mint chocolate chip that you scoop yourself... definitely not the most sanitary. read more

Great buffet restaurant on the north side of town. Plenty of seating and they will accommodate you if phone ahead for a larger group. Very large food selection and the food looks very good. Dry large salad bar and dessert bar too. Plenty of seating. The only drawback is the pricing is a little unclear so check out pricing to make sure you're ok with it. read more

They have a large variety of food that part I give them but they hospitality is lacking. I said thank you to the people for or five times. They just stared at you so I asked them in your country. What is the Custom when someone say thank you. She stared at me and then said you're welcome. I asked her why then when I say thank you to you and your staff you just stare I never got a You're welcome. My Grandson even said thank you for the Lady bringing him a drink. She just stared at him and then walked off it don't cause nothing to be polite to anybody so that was definitely a turn off to Me. than asked me was I gonna leave a tip? The Food is good and fresh. All the buffets were full and well stocked. Servers were nice and friendly. The price is fair for lunch. The building looks sketchy from the outside but worth the trip inside where it is much better than you think. Booths needed to be redone, ours was patched with duck tape. Royal Buffet is awesome. Wait staff very helpful. Food is always hot, well stocked, and watched continually and filled when slightly down. The hibachi bar is raw food that is cooked to order. Doesn't get much fresher than that (be sure to tip the chef at the bar that cooks for you). We highly recommend this if you like a buffet. read more

I was a little reluctant on eating at a buffet during these times of social distancing. The restrictions they put in place impressed me and had my kids and I feel safe to eat here. The food was hot and fresh. Very affordable as well. The staff was very attentive and courteous. read more

We drive from near Indianapolis to eat here once a week because the food is so good. Steak that you can cut with a fork, prime rib, a full grill, multiple chicken choices, hot dogs and pizza. Full salad bar. Cant understand all the Karen's who expect perfection. The staff is nice enough, the price for what you get is decent. Water is good. Very rarely have any issues. It's a Chinese buffet to a good extreme. If you want perfection, go to an expensive steak house. If you want a good meal, eat here. read more

I'm only giving a one star review because I'm not sure if you can give a zero, first of all the food was all absolutely disgusting. It was stale and seemed as if it was sitting there all day. I got the Buffay dinner which is supposed to be $14.59 and I ordered a water and they charged me $18.50. My Wife and I thought we would try the new buffet out. Looked at the food bars and it was almost the same as when the Hibachi Grill & Buffet was there. We picked a few items and went to sit down to eat. Most of the food we had was room temp at best. Even when you walk around there was steam coming out of the trays but still did not keep things heated. We went back to the buffet again to check other food. and tried it and it was the same. Then only seafood I saw was the fake crab meat, some kind of fake squid meat, and small shrimp from the Hibachi Grill and stuffed shrimp which was not that good. My wife saw one tray of fake crab meat Linguine some of the sauce was hard and crusty it had not been cooked today, more like yesterday or day before that. We went about 30 minutes-hour before they closed, and everything was still good. I love the all you can eat style I just wish they had more ice cream selection and toppings (whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, etc.) and a few more sushi selections. There were 4 trays of the same kind. read more

The food was ok. So the one star is only because of the food. A lot of it seemed like it was stale. But most of the food was actually good. Well, the food that wasn't stale was really good. HOWEVER. After we were done eating we wanted to sit and finish our drinks we had THREE of their "waitresses(?)" (cause all you do is take plates let's face it we get our own food so) come up to us and ask us to pay them, repeatedly they did this. Like can we please finish the drinks they we paid for? So after the third different person did this we just said screw it and went up to pay. You guys were really rude. It was my birthday, and you honestly ruined the whole dinner. I used to come here primarily for crab legs, but they are never really tasty (just plain bland and zero salt) so I end up getting steak bites instead. Please, do not waste your money. Not only is it the exact same thing as hibachi, but I believe the food got WORSE. I had a fairly large party go to the restaurant and nearly every one of us got sick.
