I was unable to identify any real traditional Chinese dishes, but I am not surprised based solely on the location. They were pretty accommodating when it came to requesting a custom order. I asked for their home style tofu with chicken. They were happy to make the order. The flavors here were pretty good and the portion sizes were reasonable. Overall, this is a great place for me to stop at for a relatively quick and easy meal without too much interacting. My only recommendation is to have an accessible trash can to throw away your phone while dining in. That is essential for a Chinese takeaway with a dining room!

In addition to the soggy breading (and since when do they deep-fry teriyaki??) the chicken itself was tough and ropey--way overcooked. And everything congealed into an oily brick of indigestion. The only edible thing was the white rice. Run away.

The woman at the counter seemed very sweet and took our orders promptly. The food was brought out very fast; I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for it. It was tasty for a great price. There were a few people that came and went while we were there and they were helped very quickly, but we were the only ones to sit and eat. It isn't an actual sit down restaurant with service, although it seemed like it used to be. This might be one of those little gems dying out from lack of help or lack of customers. If we happen through Danville again, we'll have to stop in. I hope it's still there!

Both scallion oil and numb oil noodles are really good and good value too at $6 each. Flavors are on point. Luroufan special was also good $8 and they give quite a lot so easy to split among the kids. Meat is tender and not overly sweet. The scallion ginger fish fillet was probably the best, and they give a good chunky pieces of fish that is not breaded, but the way they cooked it. The meat trunks stayed together intact. The flavor is what you expect from traditionally steamed fish with soy sauce pour over at the end. Super pleased with the options.
