But when it happened again, it felt harder to write off. During the most recent visit, while my wife was standing there waiting, two white customers walked in and were immediately greeted with, "Hey man, you here to pick up some sandwiches?" Meanwhile, my wife had already been waiting and had verbally let them know she was there. Maybe there's an innocent explanation, but after experiencing this more than once, it left us feeling unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, that's how it came across. It's too bad because the sandwiches are pretty good, but good food isn't enough to overcome poor customer service. We won't be coming back. One last tip: don't look too closely behind the counter.
