My parents got burgers, mom had to take half of it home and dad finished his burger but had to take the fries. Said the fries were some of the better fries they have had. So it's like the cheese was used to seal over the toppings and I loved it. I usually judge a pizza by how much clean up there is after eating and I was cleaning after every bite. It's the typical pub or dive bar setting, the atmosphere step down was it felt a little cramped and the jukebox was defaulting to heavy metal and hard rock which wasn't quite enjoyable. The place was absolutely buzzing, with a lively, energetic crowd that definitely brought the volume up a notch. Our server, Kelley, came over quickly and was fantastic from the start; super friendly, engaging, and genuinely fun to talk with. She helped guide us through the menu with great recommendations, which we really appreciated given how busy things were. Food-wise, we covered a lot of ground. The chicken leek pie was a hit, and the grilled salmon was excellent. I went all-in on the traditional route with a big glass of Guinness and fish and chips, no regrets there. My wife opted for the bacon blue cheese salad and a bowl of potato leek soup, both of which were really good. I can envision an outdoor stage with live music events during the summer months and possibly a collaboration with the train museum or the boutique train car motel. They have a lot of potential in Elbe to become a bustling tourist destination if they implement some upgrades. People there seem friendly and the bar staff was no exception.
