When I first started coming here on referral from my regular vet, the owners were not allowed to go inside due to the pandemic. Upon arrival, I had to park in a numbered parking spot out front, call the number on the sign, and someone would come out and take my dog inside to see the vet. The vet would then call me to discuss the appointment findings and the recommended course of action. Once the visit was complete, the tech would bring my dog back out to me. More recently when I've visited, I was able to go inside with my dog and wait in an exam room. However, when the vet examined my dog, the tech would take my dog to another location where I was not present to see what was happening. I prefer to be with my dog during the visit. My latest visit was because my dog had a serious issue, and we ended up having to make the hard decision to put her down. Mountain West performed the procedure in a special bereavement room with a couch. It was nice that they separated me from the busy exam rooms and waiting room of the facility for this painful process. During all of my visits, the staff were friendly and accommodating. A few things I wished were different are that I have always asked but never received a printed copy of the visit summary for my dogs. They are very automated and seem to prefer to not print anything. And it is hit and miss with getting the summary via email also. Also because they are an emergency facility, they post on the walls and doors that there may be a long wait due to possible emergencies coming in. I usually have waited no less and 1 hour and as much as 5 hours during my appointment. There does not seem to be a option for a quicker turn around.

The minute we arrived they immediately took care of my dog; from the medical assistants, front office personnel and major kudos to Dr. Jess! This group of professionals showed such care, kindness, and compassion, keeping me informed about everything. I am pleased to say my puppy is back to being happy and healthy thanks to this great healthcare group as well as my family veterinarian, Dr. Grover. What a blessing to have this great team in our area! I definitely give them five stars!

During treatment, several things made me question the quality of care I received. While suturing my wound, Dr. Lees asked the person who was with me, who is not medical staff, to assist instead of bringing in a trained hospital staff member. She also repeatedly broke sutures while attempting to close the wound. At one point, she left a pair of suture scissors in my bed, which were later discovered by an X-ray technician. At the time, I trusted that she knew what she was doing and did not question her decisions. Looking back, I regret that. After leaving the hospital, I shared photos of the stitches with family members, who immediately noted how poorly the wound had been closed. At the time, I was only concerned about proper healing and regaining full function of my knee, not the cosmetic appearance, which is why I did not seek a second opinion right away. I was not prescribed antibiotics upon discharge. I continued to experience pain, was unable to bend my knee, and could not walk without assistance. Despite this, I followed the timeline I was given before seeking follow-up care. When my primary care doctor removed the stitches, the wound had not healed and was still deep and open. Both my doctor and nurse were alarmed by the lack of antibiotics and the quality of the suturing. I was referred to a dermatologist, who had to redo the repair using absorbable stitches beneath the skin as well as a new set of surface stitches. The initial repair did not include these deeper stitches. As a result of this experience, I have been in pain for about two months and have had limited mobility. I strongly believe my recovery has been significantly prolonged due to the initial treatment I received. After going through all of this, I later shared the full experience with friends and family members, including several who are doctors or closely connected to the medical field. Their reactions to the overall situation were consistent and concerning, and their feedback is what ultimately compelled me to write this review. This was an extremely disappointing and alarming experience in what should have been a standard ER procedure.

When I told her she was still in pain and asked for the migraine cocktail. She was very rude and said did you even talk to the doctor when he came in after the cat scan results. He never did come in. We went over the hill to a sterling medical and they had her treated and out of pain in 15 minutes and were very kind and compassionate!! Honestly, its usually within the first week. I don't think they even try to do billing. Just send you off. Then you start getting these lovely calls, emails and text messages from "The Hospital". When you go in, they look at your bill and say "It's Paid". So, why do I have collections agencies bothering me and it says from "Brigham Hospital"? Maybe its the doctor or maybe its the ambulance if you needed one or maybe someone else. Why does it say "Brigham Hospital"? I dunno. Then you have to call everyone trying to find out who is threatening you only to find out it is 3rd parties that you have absolutely no idea or bills from. You call them and ask why are you billing me $5000??? Well, it shows here you have no insurance!!! Oh, once again, Brigham Hospital made sure to contact insurance to get themselves paid but didn't pass the information on to the Dr., the x-ray tech, the ct scan or mri tech, ambulance if you needed one or the follow up hospital because Brigham Hospital only handles the most minor issues and bills 10x. If this were a one time issue, I'd be understanding but I've had this experience at least 10 times now and everyone I know has the exact same issues all with Brigham Hospital! I think they might have a chronic case of Cranial Rectalitis that they just can't fix. When the majority of people you speak with have decided that if I have 30 minutes to live and can't get to Tremonton, Logan or Ogden then there's a huge decision to be made... Do I just say screw it and die or do I deal with Brigham City Hospital??? This isn't a joke. I know people who've had so many bad experiences with this garbage dump of a hospital that they literally weigh the severity of the injury and whether they can survive 30 minutes to go somewhere else. All I can say is that I have never in my life dealt with such ineptitude, gross negligence and just a complete lack of "Give a Shit" anywhere in my life and unfortunately, I think the vast majority of people in Brigham feel the same way. I hope you arrogant, ignorant people are proud of yourselves. I'll probably choose death over another visit if that is the only choice.
