NEVER GO TO THIS BAR For starters all of there staff is very rude. I recently went with a group of 5 people. The bouncer had us go upstairs ( he didn't ID us we are 25 years old) then we Walked 5 flights of stairs to be told the bar was cash only...... The bouncer for starters should have told us before waking up 5 flights of stairs that it was cash only. The bouncer cursed me out. In addition the bartender (older blonde lady) notified me that "everyone has cash on them. And if we don't have cash to leave" I have never been more disrespected. I was excited to show my friends this bar and now I will never recommend it. I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to go here. Work on your hospitality. So I walked in here to meet up with a friend for a drink and what a sad experience I had. I sat at the bar and after a few mins waiting the only Male bartender approached me and asked me for my drink order, because all the females pretended not to see me. He brought me my drink which was a pretty good cocktail, he walked away and made no attempt to check on me nor did he offer me anything else. I asked him if they sold food so he dropped of the menu and walked away, after a while one of the girls realized I needed help and took my food order. My friend arrived and it took them forever to acknowledge her, they actually served the guys to our left and right before her. The food I order was good and the cocktails were good as well. Came in here to get away from a torrential downpour at Sunfest. The place was packed. I have been here once before for a few beers. This time I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes while I watched servers serve people all over the bar but kept skipping over me. Ok im an old lady and most of the people in here were 20 somethings but still! The girls who were sitting at the bar said it took awhile for then to get served too. I politely asked a server if there was someone working this end and she rudely told me that they were busy and there are only 4 servers. SO logic would tell me you should each take 1/4 of the bar and not let a whole section of the bar to be skipped. After she served the drinks she was preparing she grumpily came back to take my order. I tried to apologize if she thought I was rude but she could care less. BTW the two Miller Lite beers were not cold and sort of flat but no way was I going to tell her that!!! And on or way we went. There are too many places near here to put up with poor service. In addition: the bathrooms were gross. One sink was totally clogged. Ew read more

Nice place to hear music and enjoy an outdoor breeze! I have to say, Alex the door guy was exceptionality kind and very respectful compared to a lot of bars in the area. With that being said, Anthony the bar back or "security/power trip" might be one of the angriest, rudest men I've ever encountered in WPB. I feel sorry for those that have to work with him on a daily basis! This bar is great, don't listen to the reviews. The only time they took cash is during covid, you can use card at every floor level now. This was a bit strange/weird/meh experience. I called them up and asked if they serve food upstairs since I had never been there. I wasn't sure if it was a bar/pub only or restaurant. The lady on the phone said yes and that they have cabana style tables. Once we got there, we went upstairs, close to 10:30 PM. There were no servers etc around. The two bartenders seemed busy, one on his cell phone and the other talking to a customer. I asked the bartender who was preoccupied with his cell phone if we can order food etc. He said they only serve food downstairs and drinks/bar is upstairs. We were a bit disappointed since wrong information was given. However, it's a nice place with a view of Clematis Street. We decided to stay for a few minutes to enjoy the nice breeze, view, and take some photos with my pumpkin and big butt friend (weird nicknames for my loved ones). They had nice music and a dance area as well. After the time spent here, we decided to eat across the street at another restaurant instead.~ read more

A typical restaurant that turns into a bar at night with a club upstairs (according to the bartender the club starts picking up around 11pm). Good service at the bar, decent prices, and tons of tvs for game watching. There's also a pool table and some large games for entertainment. Came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday gathering... Our night started off on the top floor, do take the elevator unless you want a decent leg workout. Sky309: great view of downtown's festivities, and drinks are available at the mini bar set up. After some time we moved on downstairs to grab a bite to eat and just enjoy each other's company.. Ordered the chicken tenders app and iced tea. Tasty tenders and worth the price of a slightly classier bar. Great variety of beer options for those so inclined to grab a beer. Overall our party was pleased with the apps and drinks that were steadily flowing at our table. The nachos (half-sized) were huge. The quesadillas were tasty (or so we were told by our party) and everyone seemed quite pleased with the ambiance, drinks and overall vibe of this pub. I love this bar. It has something for everyone. If you want to watch the game, do so in the downstairs area, or even out front. They have a decent amount of seating outside with a couple big screen tv's. I haven't eaten much there, a couple appetizers, but they were good. Bar food, but good bar food. The best part of this bar is the upstairs sky bar. It is up on the roof, the atmosphere is great. (Side note: be sure to use the elevator, even though I workout daily, those stairs were tough, especially on the way down with a couple drinks in my system!) It gets crowded on the weekends, but since you are outside, it isn't a big deal. Sunday night they have a live band that is great to listen too. read more

I enjoyed this place. We came here for the yearly UF vs. FSU game and it was mostly packed with the UF crowd because it is a UF bar. There was a UF alumni station and they decorated some of the tables with orange and blue. Also, after kickoff there was free Coors Light beer all throughout the game. The waitresses and bartenders were really nice and attentive and made great drinks. They even were able to answer our call of pickleback shots which are Jameson and Pickle Juice.. which not all bars have or didnt have for a while. For food, most of us ordered Buffalo Chicken Wraps. They were large and very good actually, especially for bar fare. My meal came with french fries which were seasoned with garlic and rosemary- cooked to perfection and crispy. I'd recommend this bar for the food, drinks and the plenty of TVs and seating to watch any game. read more

Came here on a Saturday night with a group of girls. From the moment we walked in the bouncers were so rude, I respect that they want to do their jobs well and they have to take it seriously but wow they ALL (except one downstairs in the main bar area) were so rude. Couldn't even answer a simple question at the door when no one was there. Upstairs was fun for a while but it got pretty packed and rowdy later on. For the amount of security guards hanging around they didn't even notice when two girls tried fighting another two girls and ended with multiple drinks being thrown. The girls were just feet away from 2-3 security guards yet nothing was done! My group of 8 ended up leaving after that, lots of pushing and shoving on the dance floor. Drinks were fine, DJ was good, atmosphere was very cool (at first) but definitely will not return. Also sucks that they allow smoking on the dance floor it was gross and drunk people on a packed dance floor with lit cigarettes just seems like a bad idea. Went in tonight and we were greeted with a warm smile from our bartender. He quickly showed us a menu and suggested some items. We started with a Guinness and the Roxy's spicy margarita, kilzzy went the extra mile and found tajin for that margarita. He then heard us mention we are hungry and let us know the kitchen is still open. We were thrilled that we could still eat, I asked him to choose a few apps for us and he didn't let us down. The grilled wings, egg rolls and steak sandwich were very good. Would have loved some sliders but they are not on the menu. I've only been to Roxy's twice. Once on Halloween, and for lunch when there was no where else to go. Let's start with their food. Its typical bar food.... not that great though. I had a grilled cheese with avocado and bacon and sweet potato fries. Healthy, I know. But, it was one of the only things on the menu that seemed ok. It was ok... nothing to write home about. Greasy, tasty, but not to be repeated again type of food. So for that I will give it one star. The remaining 2 stars come from their bar and the atmosphere. For a bar, and strictly a bar, its not bad... its actually fun. Again, I said I went on Halloween and it was fun. But, again, on Clematis, there are better places to go... especially upstairs to the rooftop bar. Are you looking for food? I would say keep walking. Want a quick drink? Stop by and grab one. I was there with my mom and we were sitting next to an older guy at the bar that would not leave her alone and he was being super creepy. I asked our server to get him out and basically she told us to screw off. Not a safe place to get a drink at all. I will not be returning and others shouldn't either. On top of that, I don't think they checked a single ID in there. As someone who turned 21 two months ago, I should at least be getting ID'd. read more

3.5 Stars. I actually enjoyed my afternoon at Roxy's. I got here with some friends around noon for a book club meeting and to watch a game. We took the Brightline which is only a few blocks away and found ourselves smack dab in the middle of a vintage/antique market on Saturday (apparently a weekly thing) on Clematis. We didn't really anticipate eating here but were starving so figured we'd give it a shot. I found the menu surprising with some cool, cleverly-named drink concoctions and a make your own charcuterie platter option. It was fun picking and choosing different meats and cheeses - it was a tasty display. I loved the inclusion of cornichons and truffle honey. We also snacked on tator tots and I had the French onion both were pretty good but not very memorable. The servers were nice and kept the drinks coming. I opted for the "G-spot" which was a tasty gin cocktail topped with prosecco and other things that probably shouldn't be mixed together but still tasted pretty good. I tried a sample of the "Liam Neeson" which was whiskey-based - but was not a fan. I was disappointed about not being allowed upstairs to see the rooftop lounge area as this was one of my main reasons for stopping in. Although, it was a really warm day and I wouldn't have lasted long out there any way. We soaked up the AC, discussed our book and watched the game on the HUGE TV wall. Kudos for the free Jello Shots for touchdowns. I would day drink here, but not sure if I'd want to be here at night with the rowdy younger crowd and the club atmosphere. read more

I never write a bad review for an establishment I have visited, I always give the benefit of doubt that I happen to be there on an off night. However I am so disgusted with the establishment I had to put it in writing. I visited in February 2019 and proceeded to pay with a gift card which was rejected so I paid the check in cash. When I checked the balance on the gift card Roxy's had re-run the card and took payment. Hence getting paid TWICE!!!!!!!! They would not reverse the payment and told me to deal with the Gift card company. SO HOLD ONTO YOUR RECEIPTS.
