He acknowledged my concern and appeared to communicate it over a radio/talkie. Assuming someone would come address the issue before the previews ended, I returned to my seat. Unfortunately, no one ever came to clean the auditorium. For the price families pay for movie tickets, concessions, and the overall experience, basic cleanliness should be expected. I understand theaters can get busy, especially during popular movie releases, but an auditorium should be cleaned THOROUGHLY and prepared between showings. Guests should not have to sit among someone else's trash and spilled popcorn. The movie itself was enjoyable, but the condition of the theater took away from the experience. Popcorn prices are pretty standard to other theaters, and they do have several other food options if you're interested in more of a meal. Our movie was showing in the Dolby Theater (6), and I feel like this made our experience even better. The seats vibrate and are synced with the action and music throughout the movie, making it a truly immersive event. The recliners are comfortable, if a bit dated. Honestly though, there are still theaters in Nashville that don't have any recliners at all, so an older recliner is still a win in my book. Thankfully, the bathrooms were pretty clean as well.
