I am reviewing again to recognize another amazing employee. We attended a movie this past Sunday and were helped by Haley when purchasing tickets. Apparently I was having a day, as I was having trouble finding the card I wanted to pay with in my wallet, took out my phone to get a better look at the inside of my wallet, and it crashed to the ground. Ay! While we were picking up the sim card, battery, and back of the phone, she was so kind. I kept apologizing because I was taking a lot of time and was so confuddled that I was also not paying attention when we used a different card to pay and she said to tell her which seats we wanted and I was trying to select them on her screen. (Really, I was having a day). She did not have to be so sweet and understanding, but she was. She kept very calmly smiling and saying, "It's ok, You're ok, It's all good, No worries," while we were picking up phone pieces from the floor and trying to pay. She directed the next people in line to the next employee and was patient as can be with us. After the movie, I realized that the buttons had come off my phone when it fell because I tried to turn it on and there were no buttons. There was no one in line at her register so we went back to look on the floor. She remembered us and looked for them with us. I needed a new phone anyway, so I guess that gave me the push I needed to go ahead and transfer my phone to a new one, but this review is to commend Haley (sp?). 5 star customer service. She was so sweet and patient when she could have easily become frustrated with a customer having a bit of a rough day. Thank you Haley. You're awesome. :) read more

I don't go to the movies very often these days, so when I do, it's because I really want to see the film. My husband and I came to see Wicked for Good and had a bit of a frustrating start. We tried to purchase our tickets at the kiosks, but the machine wouldn't take our card. After struggling with it for a while, my husband mentioned it to the young lady taking tickets, and only then did she tell us the kiosk was broken. I was irritated because she had clearly seen us trying to figure it out, yet didn't say anything until we asked. She did apologize, though it didn't feel very genuine. On the bright side, the gentleman at the concession stand apologized on her behalf, which I appreciated even though it wasn't his responsibility. When we picked out our seats, when we go to get seated, one of the seats was broken, which I wish was noted bc had this theater been full, that could have been a problem. Then there was trash in the cup holders. This did not help my irritation. I do think it's time to upgrade the seats to the modern recliners, put signs on things that don't work, and make sure the theaters are cleaned for the next movie times. Love the location of this theater but times like this makes it hard to make a case to go more often. read more

The perfect movie experience for matinee movies. I took my son here to see the Super Mario Bros. movie. I was a little surprised at how small the theater was. Maybe I haven't been to the movies in a long time, but I figured the Super Mario Bros. Movie would be in a larger theater. I was super comfortable here and I love that I can purchase specific seats and not have to fight for good positioning inside the theater. This place has all of the normal movie theater accoutrements like popcorn, candy, soda, and even a few arcade games in the lobby for killing time between theater hopping. Definitely buy your tickets beforehand to save yourself time for buying snacks! read more

How do you not have recliner seats in 2024.... And charge the same as nice updated theaters?

Manager falsely accused me of vandalizing the bathroom and threatened to kick me and my fiance out of if I did not get down and scrub the graffiti off of the stall, one of the most disturbing experiences ive ever had and will probably never be able to come back into this movie theatre, it's so disappointing because I have always loved this theatre but I had already spoken nicely to this manager once that night and had paid for mivies, food and drinks and then to be kicked out of my movie and falsely accused of a crime was upsetting and traumatic. manager belligerently telling me he had me on camera doing this and saw me with the markers or whatever when I had already turned out my pockets for him. truly one of the most upsetting experiences I have ever had. read more

Could use the leather, electric reclining chairs that any good theater has and a little arcade space that, again, good theaters have. I have been to wonderful, clean theaters with these amenities that cost the same. I would expect Mt. Juliet to have one of those nice movie theaters. read more

This theater was a major disappointment. The employees are lethargic, rude or just non-existent. People were just walking in off the street and nobody had a a ticket scanned. Nobody was enforcing that anyone actually pay for watching a movie. The concession stand was ridiculous. The prices have been raised but the quality of service has not. We bought concessions 20 minutes before our movie and almost missed the start waiting on the Cheeto popcorn. We were told after waiting 20 minutes that it takes 15 minutes to make it and that it would be another 5-8 minutes before it would be ready. We asked for a refund and the eye rolls from the employees were pretty wild. We get to our theater and were greeted with dirty broken seats. I love watching movies at the theater but places like this encourage folks to stream movies at home. Will not return without some serious improvements from the staff. read more

Watching big movies at a theater is such an experience and this theater was sadly a disappointing experience. Decently clean in the movie setting but the other areas were not. This has decent seats, but isn't up on the modern recliner options, or at least not in the one I was in. To this, they didn't have hand soap in the bathroom, and staff said they knew, and that it was a "supply chain issue, and we can't buy soap." Can't buy soap? Soap isn't on a global shortage so not sure how they haven't figured out something else as an option for this problem locally or corporately for this. I think as a company getting soap from the local target and putting it on the counters is better than not having any soap at all as a customer optics???, Very perplexing. They had hand soap in their hidden family restrooms, but those were really gross like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. They also left the full house lights on until through all of the previews and as the movie was starting, which I have never seen a theater do, and it felt like someone forgot. I had been to another Regal theater in another area the week prior and they did not do this. It really took away from the viewing experience. read more

Besides being 2024, for $20 a ticket you would think you would have recliner seats. Cashier was unfriendly. Food was basically $10 an item ($10 for drink, $10 for nachos) and concession options aren't anything like what is pictured online. Super limited menu. Movie outings are a tradition in my household but if you're gonna visit this theater, moviegoer beware!! First and foremost, this theater switched to Pepsi products...who drinks Pepsi anymore?? No one. So why would they switch to Pepsi you might ask? Because when food and beverage establishments look to cut costs, they switch to Pepsi. Disappointing. The staff was sluggish, lacked motivation, and were not customer focused. None of them wore masks despite serving hot dogs and popcorn...breathing their teen spirit all over my food. The theater seats were dirty and had tears in them . They downgraded the beverages to Pepsi products to save money but can't upgrade the seats? This place is the worst. I will NEVER return to this movie theater again. And if Regal downgraded all their theaters to Pepsi products then I'll never go to a Regal theater...ever. read more

Due to Regal's reward program, points, and app, I tend to frequent Regal theaters more than any other. I'm at a Regal theater at least once or twice a month and at this point I think I've been to every in the middle-TN area. Regal theaters aren't equal--some charge more per ticket and per concession than others and the amenities at some are greater than at other. Usually the latter is the result of the former--e.g. a more expensive Regal tends to have more amenities. So, my biggest complaint about this particular Regal (Providence 14, located in Mt. Juliet) is that it's a mid-range Regal in terms of expense and an entry level Regal in terms of amenities. Matinee tickets at this Regal are a bit over $11 but, at least in the giant theater room I was in, the seats are very basic. These are old-school straight back barely leaning chairs, no recliners. There are Regal theaters in Middle-TN that have deluxe reclining chairs for $8-$9 matinee tickets. Anyway--decent parking, friendly service, and the screens are large and modern. My biggest complaint is the price in relation to the seating and amenities (no bar at this one if you're looking for that). Also, Regal--can you please do something about your partnership with Pepsi and other food providers? The drink and candy options are very, very limited due to that. read more

It's so expensive for not having recliners and not having an updated theater. For 2 adults & 2 children , 1 large popcorn & 1 lrg drink it was $93!!! Seats were broken and trash overfilled the trash cans. Plus the popcorn is terrible! Better off making the short drive to The Roxy in Lebanon! When I pay $8 for small popcorn, I expect it to be fresh. The popcorn was already in bags and kept in a warming cabinet. If it had been a busy night, I could understand doing this. But I only saw 3 other people in the lobby. The projector in theater 14 seems like it needs a new bulb. It was super dim which made the movie hard to see and it started flickering at times. Regal Providence needs better management and employees who are actually willing to do their jobs. After going there tonight, I doubt I'll ever go there again unless the manager and most of the employees are replaced. I'll preface this by saying that number one, I'm visually impaired (blind in one eye and part of the other), and that it was myself, my parents, as well as a bunch of people in their 60s and older in attendance. The lights didn't turn off when the movie started even though several people complained and the only response we got was that the employees were "working on it". Then a third of the way into the movie, the lights finally shut off. But then, when the movie was over, they didn't turn the lights back on. Meaning that the theater was completely pitch black so we had to use the lights from our phones to get to the exit. As it is, I walk with a cane a lot of the time, and there were a lot of people there. Not only that, but there was an elderly woman there with MS who was using a cane that barely lit up so everyone had to help her out. Then, pretty much everyone in the theater went to complain, and the employees denied everything. They said that the lights were only on during the previews, despite the fact that everyone was telling them it wasn't true, and that the lights came back on after the movie ended, which also wasn't true. Had one of us gotten hurt in there, it would've been grounds for a lawsuit. But none of the employees seemed to care. Even the manager just tried to brush us off. I've tried multiple times to give this theater a chance and each time I'm disappointed. From the projectors being out of focus and having to change theaters, to temperature being unregulated and either freezing cold or hot as an oven. The floors are dirty and never clean. If I could give this place a zero, I would. First, it was Saturday at 7:20 pm, which I assume was a very busy time for a movie theater, especially opening weekend for several movies. When we walked up, the box office was dark with no one around. I didn't really care, considering we had gotten tickets online, so I assumed we would have our tickets checked inside. We made our way inside, and again no one to be found except for the people behind the concession stand still very strange to me, so I figured, well, maybe they check tickets at the entrance of whatever theater you're in. We get in line to order some snacks, and I order Tostitos nachos with an entire display of Tostitos and Doritos chips for nachos behind the girl we were ordering from. She said they only have Doritos, not Tostitos.... I didn't want to argue on the off chance they just couldn't use the 20+ bags of Tostitos behind her. I then asked for a box for me to put popcorn in so I didn't have to fight my husband for popcorn. She looked at me like I had three heads and offered a very small what looked like the top of a to-go box, so I just slowly walked away.. we went into the movie theater, and you guessed it, still, no one to check tickets. As we went to find our seats, of course, someone was sitting in our seats, and we asked her to move, and she said no, I have these reserved. You can sit over there, and luckily the movie theater wasn't packed, but I was irritated as hell. I picked those seats for a reason. Once her other people got in their seats, the one even explained that he picked other seats!!! So either she was just misinformed or just didn't care like the rest of the theater. Food and drink cups were all over the floors and chairs from the movie before that one. I'm convinced no one else worked there outside of the concession stand. We could very easily just walked in and watched a movie for free, and no one would have known absolute joke of a movie theater. The chairs don't recline, it's not clean, and no one is monitoring people coming in or out. We were warned about coming here, and we chose to go to see it for ourselves, and clearly, we should've just taken the warning. Great theater I always love the staff and managers there all great people to get me to see the movies i love!

It's a pretty basic theater and serves the purpose of a theater I guess. Pros: Better food selection than most theaters. I got a chicken habanero flatbread pizza and it was actually good. It's got some games in the main lobby to play if you need to pass time. Cons: Seats are creaky, uncomfortable and starting to age. Compared to the AMC theaters in Murfreesboro and Green Hills...I should say. It doesn't quite compare. read more

Like, whoa: Expensive! Decent location, clean, safe, staffed appropriately, not long waits unless it's a huge premiere week, but dang: the prices! I know everyone wants to complain about movie theater ticket prices on the rise. But my wife and I went to an AMC, and NICE AMC in a much bigger market than suburban Nashville on vacation not long ago. We paid roughly the same for our tickets there, but were treated to HUGE reclining lazy-boy style seats, and an IMAX sized screen in addition to Dolby Atmos surround. It was hands-down the best experience we've had in any movie theater ever. Is this rinky-dink theater worth $13.50 a ticket for your basic, NON-3D seats, and non-premium experience? I think not. But we have no other choice close, so it looks like we'll be frequenting Regal MJ anyway. read more

One we got to our seats we found out that a handrail blocked literally half the screen. Tried to get the seats changed but that was a nightmare. After 30 minutes waiting for someone who knew how to move the seats the only thing available was the front row. For a three hour movie. No attempt to make it right. Friendly staff, not busy, clean and the temperature was very comfortable. Seats were the old fashioned theater seats not the new reclining ones most regals have now. Concessions looked nice and well stocked and had plenty of cast members. Inside the theater it was slightly loud before the movie because of the air conditioner I think. Overall it was very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this regal over the Opry Mills one. read more

This theater is close to bottom of the barrel. The employees don't give a single care in the world. Been inside twice. First time. I tried to order a water bottle. They don't have any. Okay I'll take a water cup. They tried to charge me for the price of a soda until I had to complain and say I'm not paying 8 bucks for a water. The second time. I went not knowing the policy of Regal and was going to just sign my younger sibling into a movie, him being 16, and then head back home. As a 16 year old back then, this was quite the norm, but they said I needed to be in the theater with him. I was pretty shocked cuz as I said. I was signed into many Rated R movies by my parents who just dropped us off. As my confusion persisted, two of the employees started to talk rudely towards me but with their backs also towards me. And said something along the lines of well you don't know the policy. I didn't but thanks for being rude The employee(the one who also was the one about to charge me 8 bucks for the water) prompted that by saying I don't need to respect you despite me not saying anything prior to earn his disrespect which was all I was getting. Okay, overall I'm a fan of Regal Cinemas. Since Nashville doesn't seem likely to get any AMC theaters anytime soon, it is the best theater chain in the town. Everything is in pretty good shape here, probably owing to its relative newness. The theater is clean, and the prices are on par with what you'd expect from a movie theater in 2012. However, in this day and age how can they excuse only one digital ticket kiosk!? Do they think the "dumb ole hillbilly" residents of Mt. Juliet will be unable to grasp this concept? Does the Theater Ticket Sellers Union 101 require that there be a greater number of human Ticket Sellers? When a line equal to the regular line forms just for the digital Kiosk you DON'T HAVE ENOUGH OF THEM! For this reason and no other I am giving it two stars. Hopefully they can resolve this oversight in the future and join the land in 21st century digital joy. read more

This theater needs the upgrades such as reclining seats. The employees seemed overwhelmed and customer service suffered. But, our snacks and drinks were good. We got to the movie 20 minutes early and were able to find great seats for a group of 6. For that, we were grateful! Luckily this theater is not busy. Leanna, the manager, has no service skills. Despite the combos advertised on the screen at the concession stand, she claimed the theater does not have combos. She also declined honoring a coupon from the Regal app because it would take too long for her to do. She threw items around in view of guests and loudly stated she does not want to deal with customers right now. It is clear her team members are afraid of her. She is rude to guests and completely ruined an otherwise pleasant experience. read more

We were in theater 4 and regardless of the room we always sit at the very top under the projector. From beginning to end there would be cycles of high decibel low frequency noise that would not allow us to hear the movie especially any dialog. At first I thought it was the bass but it seemed to be tied to the AC in the room. When the air turned on the ceiling would rattle along with creating this noise. My husband complained before the movie started and 30 minutes in I complained. Mgmt seemed indifferent to our complaints. Finally we moved to another area of the theater and the noise diminished but was still present. The dialog was very low which made it very difficult to hear. As well as the room appeared to be under construction which begs the question of why it was even being used. My point is we paid for 4 adults and 1 child along with all of the refreshments $130 to sit through a 3 hour movie that we could not enjoy!
