This location is the closest to us. We just moved from Texas to Tennessee and we are used to Cinemark Theatres. As first time AMC visitors, we were greeted by a welcoming staff member. She explained the multiple tier memberships available and other benefits that come with the theatre. If you buy the tickets in the theatre, you only pay the ticket price. Buying it online requires an online fee unless you subscribe to a premium plan. The premium plan allows us to skip the long line by having a dedicated line for premium members. It was unnecessary today, as the theatre wasn't packed. My wife ordered a pizza and it was made to order. Our popcorn was fresh and crispy. The soda options are numerous because they are the kind where you mix syrups as you please. The seats are new, reclinable, and heated. Overall, great first experience. read more

On our last day in Nashville we decided to come and see toy story. Since our flight was pretty late. This theater is located in a pretty uneventful shopping plaza, I guess this is the biggest thing in the whole area. The inside lobby was quite small, as soon as you come in the line starts forming to buy tickets and the concession stand which are one in the same. He can get very congested and because it was a Tuesday, it did. It is pretty inconvenient if you only want to buy tickets and not food because you still have to stand in line. They would benefit from a couple of self service machines where people can just go and buy it without having to go through their concessions. There is a bar across and a couple hightop tables and that area was empty, while the other side was teaming with people. I think their set up is a little flawed. As we come in to the theater room, it was filthy, it had not been cleaned yet. We were a little early so we went outside to wait at the bar but when we came back it was not much better. They had picked some of the bigger things but it was still pretty dirty. I actually liked their recliner seats a lot, they even have heating, which I used and felt so good on my back. just for that they got an extra star! (Yes they had two stars up until then) Overall is an OK theater, I haven't been to any other theaters in Tennessee so I cannot compare apples to apples but my opinion is that they could do better, it has potential. read more

My girlfriend and I went to this theater on Saturday evening. We went to go see the movie Oppenheimer. Halfway through the movie the computer stopped. The movie stopped in the lights. All came on in the movie was trying to play with the lights on. The whole thing was totally messed up. We went out front. It was obvious there was nobody really in charge. It was no manager on duty. That's why we started multiple people were asking questions nobody knew what to do and it was sad and I was frustrated all the same time. I spent $30 to watch this movie and I never got to see even half of it. We asked about getting a credit on our funds, they didn't know what to do. The whole thing was totally messed up on organized and not managed properly. I would never recommend this theater. read more

Seats are so cozy--they are heated AND recline! I like that there were some indie films playing here when my family and I visited in November 2019. It's not just blockbusters on screen! Staff we met were friendly, but perhaps this theater is understaffed because the bathrooms and floors could have been a lot cleaner. Hopefully this theater will be able to address those problem area in the future. I'll give an update when I visit Nashville area again in 2020. read more

Honestly, the worst theatre I've ever been to...walked out before the movie even started. Bathrooms were disgusting, they had no popcorn unless you "preordered it", and all the employees were standing in the hallway just chatting away instead of doing any of their jobs. I've been a few times here, but my preference is to go elsewhere. The seats are assigned, which I prefer, but I always end up having to uncomfortably ask someone to move out of my seat, because they chose not to follow their seat assignment. Added to that, I like to sit through my movies quietly. Very rarely have I been able to accomplish that at this theater. I can't say I've ever been to a theater like this before! We walked in and at first we were confused. We didn't see where to buy the tickets, but you buy your tickets and your concessions TOGETHER. That's pretty novel. Their Movie times tend to go by rather quickly, so pay attention, but other than that it's pretty good. Their manager was pretty awesome, he was very helpful. He signed us up for the Carmike Cinema card which is also good with Muvico! We have a Muvico in Tampa. Apparently the points I earn there will count at any Carmike place. COOL! Very comfortable cinema. Very New and very nice. I wish one of these would come near Tampa. read more

I enjoy going to the theater and especially when it is discounted. Tony and I enjoy going on Tuesday evenings, because for $10 per couple...you can get in and get a small soda and popcorn..Not a bad price for a nice evening. Tonight we saw "RED DAWN" and it was pretty good! I enjoyed it so much! It is an easy night out and doesn't cost much! The theater is not too bad, but the bathroom could use some extra attention. Some of the theaters need a little repair but hey $2 tickets..you can't beat that!!! It is what I call a second run theater, and it shows movies that recently left the larger newest theaters..which you are paying for the hype, the glitz and the neon lights. Used to be crap, then they remodeled, and has slowly become crap again. Last time I went to see NOPE and the projector barely lit the screen. It was dark and the picture was cropped in and curved. I walked out halfway thru. They gave me a free pass to make up for this, but the pass was already expired. Tried to call today (12 times) during business hours and no one would pick up. Wanted to ask what theater the movie would be in so I don't have to deal with the same projector. Don't see a film on Screen 1. It's garbage. The bathrooms are disgusting too. So excited that Nashville finally has an AMC! As a native New Yorker I wasn't a Regal girl I'd always been an AMC girl. I've missed it for the last 5 years that I've been here! I went for the first time this weekend - I didn't know they had upgraded it! I'm so happy - it was amazing. Heated leather reclining seats! Food delivered to your seat! Great food & snacks and a bar! I went back 3 days later and it will be the only theater I go to while I'm in Nashville moving forward! *note these are some small things and did not and will not change my mind about going there: The seats are on the smaller side. A $20 pretzel yea that's not going to happen. The bar is cute - but I noticed it seem like people were there for date night without the movie or just to "hang out" and technically this isn't one of the best areas in Nashville. read more

This is a pretty cool theater. I've received great service at each visit. My only con is they always have long lines when trying to buy tickets inside, seems like they never staff accurately. Definitely a welcomed remodel for Antioch. I can see the area where there will be a bar (can't wait for that section to open). Not only do the seats recline, but they are also heated. Now mind you the keep the air pretty chilly in theaters so the heated seats are much appreciated by us cold nature folks. A separate vip line for Premier and A-list stubs members. I definitely love going on Tuesday for the discount movie tickets, but with them playing all the new releases, I'll be coming on weekends as well. read more

The staff is very friendly. They have the Coca Cola Freestyle drinks so there's a big selection. The reclining chairs are great. But the place is filthy. They renovated not too long ago but the bathrooms weren't updated. The carpet is caked with filth. The floor didn't look like it had been mopped in a while. read more

Summary: Clean theaters but whose staff needs some additional training. My sons and I went the AMC Classic Antioch 8 because my autistic son had been wanting to see the latest Smurfs movie for months. He loves going to the movies and every time he expects a big tub of popcorn and a drink to have his movie experience. When we went to the theater it was an afternoon show so the place was almost empty. We had four other families in the theater for the movie so we had our pick of seats. The seats were a little on the small side but once you get into them they're rather comfortable. Concessions were EXPENSIVE. It cost more to get popcorn and two large drinks than it did for 3 of us to get into the film. It was the most expensive I've seen at a theater anywhere. My major issue came when my autistic son went out to get a refill on his popcorn. He had an AMC Stubs card because his mother obtained one for the AMC theater near where they live with her. He came back to me upset without popcorn in tears because he said the guy behind the counter wouldn't give him more popcorn because HE wasn't a member of AMC Stubs. I promised my son a special treat after the movie and he calmed down for the rest of the film. Bottom line: It's your typical theater that could perhaps use some training for staff on dealing with special needs folks. read more

1 star, THE PRETZEL BITES ARE RANSID!! They smell like Burnt crayons, The mac and cheese bites had zero taste whatsoever, the movie theater is flatter than my girl and the chairs look like they got chewed up because someone didn't want to buy 60 dollar popcorn, the cheese made me gag just by smelling it!!! The root beer got messed up!!! 7.99 For a drink!!! And even if you bought the overpriced piece of crap you couldn't even get the drink since the display for the soda dispenser was made out of bullet proof glass and took me a good 30 minutes to even click on my root beer and then another to make it a vanilla root beer!!!!! After poking the hell out of the glass my fingers were sticky because the glass had to have been Licked by a thirsty 8 year old!! And I had my student id which should give a discount, and it took a draw dropping 30 cents off my 59 dollar movie. I'm a huge Parmesan fan not a big saw dust fan but that's what I got I guess. The seats where not awful but I warn you do not turn on the seat heating unless you wanted half your back melted off!! During the movie I was cold and wanted some heat but not the heat of the underworld!! I just recently discovered this place. Best cheap date ever! $1.50 tickets: Wha? Wha?! The theatre is older but in decent shape. It's easy to pretend you're at a regular theatre. They show movies that are too old for current theatres but aren't out on DVD yet. But some of the movies come out on DVD just a week or two after they're shown here. They also sometimes show indie films! It's a mixed bag. The concessions were pretty pricey, so I'd suggest smuggling some in your purse or pockets! I arrived before my movie with my family to see a movie and we decided to get some snacks. We are AMC Premier members so we entered the Premier member line. When we arrived there were only two girls at the counter ordering, and one person working the counter. By the time the girls completed their order about 8 people got in the regular line to order. When the girls left, rather than calling us, next in line... waiting patiently, he called the next gentleman in the regular line. The customer even asked "what about them?" And was told "don't worry about them." Wait?!?!... what?!?! He finishes his order and the cashier calls the next in line... again... not us. At that point we were pissed. We pay extra as AMC Premier members, we've been standing there being intentionally ignored, and my wife walked over to let him know that we were there before all the other people now in line. When asked why he wouldn't help us, we were told the Premier line "wasn't being used, and we would have to just go to the end of the line." Why is there a Premier line open then? Another person finally came over to assist us because the cashier refused to do so. My family and I have been coming here for years and have always had great experiences... but this was ridiculous. You definitely get what you pay for, but even at $2, I expected way better than this. First time going to this theater, and I don't think I'd go back. I'd rather pay $10 more because: 1. Rude, teenage boys who probably snuck into the R rated movie, and kept shouting the lines out while they were happening. 2. Sat through 20 minutes of commericals & previews, only for the WRONG movie to start. You'd think they would just pop on the right movie, but we had to sit through 20 MORE MINUTES of commercials & previews before the right movie started. Bummer. 3. Put on your sweats and your hoodie and head on down to the cheap theater. woot woot. Keep in mind you are saving money and seeing a movie that has been out for awhile now but it's an adventure. The theater and crowd can be a little rough. There may be some heckling from time to time or drama or kids crying but for the most part---i have seen several movies here and I just kept my head down mouth shut and had myself some discount entertainment. No problems. We have always been going to this theatre and when I went to purchase my online tickets like I always do, it randomly purchased the tickets at a theatre that is nowhere near us. I immediately saw this and requested a refund and they will not return my "online fees" which was over $4. I went to the online chat to see if they would refund me the difference and they refused several times. We even called AMC ticketing and they won't do anything to help us either. This place is AWESOME! Nice and new, cool decor. They serve beer and some wines. The soda machine is the new coke fountain with all the different flavors and you make your own drink.
