This review is about the front office at DR Rowe not of Dr Rowe and his expertise and skills. Dr Rowe is one of the best oral surgeons as my family and I have gone to him twice for wisdom teeth extraction and both times the procedure was painless. He is great at what he does
UNFORTUNATELY he has a front office led by Marguerite who is extremely unprofessional, unethical and lazy. Their billing practice is borderline criminal. I am double covered by 2 employers. When my daughter went for a wisdom teeth extraction, they stated one of my employers were not showing as covered, but the front office assured me that as long as I had coverage then there would be no problem. As a show of good faith, we left my credit card info on file until they were able to verify the second coverage and Marguerite the front office manager said she will not charge my card without notifying me first. We tried to keep I n constant contact with Dr Rowe and his front office but their hours are so limited, closing at noon on some days. We continually checked with Delta Dental daily to ensure they were sending confirmation to them. We finally get a hold of Dr Rowes front office 3 days later from the surgery and they said Marguerite already charge my card $900 since delta never sent the confirmation. Instead of doing her job and calling the insurance company to verify coverage, this lazy bitch Marguerite just charges my card without calling me first as she promised to do. It took me over a week to straighten out things with Delta Dental and they finally stated that had Marguerites submitted the claim manually instead of electronically multiple times, it would have been accepted.
To this day, several MONTHS LATER, Marguerite still stands by her substandard lazy billing practices and blames us the consumer stating we did not have coverage at that time even when DELTA DENTAL paid out the claim through my second employer. How the hell does that make sense? Their office got paid by both my insurance coverages and yet she still argues the fact that I was not covered? Marguerite needs to get her head out of her ass and listen to herself!!
There should be no reason why the front office of such a great doctor as DR Rowe be so incompetent and unprofessional. My wife has taken the burden of doing Marguerite's job and dealing with DELTA INSURANCE to straighten everything out. This is no easy task as she has been on the phone countless hours over the last 2 months
I have made it my personal mission to let every employee at both my hospitals and all my friends know to avoid Dr Rowe and his office to avoid months of headache and weeks of phone calls with DELTA DENTAL.
Dr Rowe I hope you read this and realize what a lazy unethical unprofessional front office you have, and until you change that or get rid or Marguerite and hire a professional business manager, you will not see any business from my colleagues, my friends or my family read more
