I am actually shocked by the ratings I am seeing on this page. This facility is unsanitary, with outdated equipment. I experienced a lack of professionalism when I was here as they were talking about my insurance in the lobby in front of other patients and in front of me. Debating if they accepted it or not. Not really the boost of confidence you're looking for before entering a dental chair. The women taking my x rays did her best but the outdated equipment cut my bottom hard pallet and is still causing me discomfort. My room was dirty, there was trash on the floor... Dr. Saeed is very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, a perfectionist who derives pride from his work unlike a lot of "gold digging dental factories" in San Gabriel Valley where always somebody else is treating you. He knows your teeth and he was the first dentist who got me 4 crowns approved, he knows insurance procedures well, works with you and what he says is valid and gets approved. One previous review dwells in superficialities without the understanding that what really long term counts/ lasts in your mouth is perfection in manufacturing your "dental jewels" and that is where Dr. Saeed really shines! Dr. Saeed is a very kind and attentive dentist. Always makes sure that you are comfortable, not in pain, and continuously asks if u r doing ok! Also, sweetly and graciously tells you when it's all over "you did w good job" staff is also attentive, smiles all around and make you feel "not stressed". Let me begin by saying that I am an awful patient. I can't open my mouth very wide, and I gag very very easily. Dr Saeed is EXTREMELY patient with me and tries his best to work with my limitations. I haven't been to the dentist for 10 years (dental fears) and just kept brushing and flossing to hopefully keep my teeth okay. Well, I knew I had a cracked tooth in my upper jaw and decided to have it checked out finally. The ladies in the office and patient room were very courteous, friendly and did not rush around doing my x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Saeed was very patient, cordial, very knowledgeable, and did a thorough exam. I found out I also had a cracked tooth in my lower jaw and my bridge was also cracked. That was very good to know as I am moving out of state and will have it taken care of when I establish dental insurance there. I was referred to Dr. Saeed by 1800-Dentist, who recommended him quickly and highly. I was disappointed on multiple levels. First off, the equipment used in this office is very outdated. The xray equipment appears to be from the 50's or 60's and I imagine that the radiation levels are quite high in comparison to modern digital xrays. I had a "deep cleaning" done and the apparatus, which uses water, had a leak. This was known to the office because the assistant mentioned it to me as she draped a bath towel over my chest. She wasn't kidding and I practically had a shower during the procedure with water spraying my face and trickling down my neck. Dr. Saeed had to hold a plastic bag around the device while he worked and emptied the excess water multiple times. My next disappointment was that for me personally, Dr. Saeed does not have a gentle hand. Being on the anxious side when it comes to dental work, and having expressed some apprehension about the procedure, I expected a little consideration. The final disappointment has to do with costs. While I have great dental coverage through my employer, I still managed to be charged over $70 for a deep cleaning to half of my teeth (the procedure is typically done half mouth at a time). I was not informed of the costs and due to my own fault, only thought to ask while waiting in the exam room. I feel the office should have discussed out of pocket costs with me beforehand, and I'm not certain if the out of pocket cost of this procedure is in line with the general market, but to me it appeared high, given the level of insurance I have. On a positive note, Dr. Saeed did confirm some of the findings that another specialist had mentioned, which a prior dentist had missed. It may just come down to personal preference, but for me Dr. Saeed is not a good match for my needs. I will be looking for a more gentle, professional dentist with modern equipment. read more

I hate to give low railings, however after going at Dr Saeeds office for two years, I couldn't take it anymore. I acknowledge that I have needed a lot of work done however Dr Saeed seems to have a rough hand. I have gotten tired of leaving in pain so I have decided to switch dentists. I was a patient of another dentist in the Palm Desert, CA office. When I showed up for my next appointment I was told that Dr. Saeed was now my dentist as he had taken over the practice. I replied that there had been no notice and no opportunity for me to select my own successor dentist. Nevertheless, i elected to remain a patient of Dr. Saeed. I asked to see him and was told he was not in the office. I was told that he would attend my next appointment. At the next appointment, Dr. Saeed was among the missing. Same for the next two appointments despite being told he would attend me or at least introduce himself. I am now convinced that D. Saeed is a phantom. I have no problem with the dental technicians in that office. They have been very competent. But when I select a dentist, i expect to see him or her, at least on occasion. According to me experience, there appears to be no medical or dental professional to supervise the staff. If there is, I have seen no evidence of it.
