Most of the showrooms were run down and unattractive. The Diamonds Direct showroom was lively and welcoming. Gwen and Makiz guided my 87 year old mother and I through the loose diamond buying process with expertise, warmth, and professionalism. My mother was set on a type of setting she had seen at another jewelry store and described it to Gwen and Makiz. They understood exactly what she described, they had a CAD drawing for us in a matter of days. It was even better than the one we had seen else where. My mom has a swollen, arthritic knuckle. They were able to get a shank that opens and latches closed for her. They were able to stabilize the ring with gold balls (actually rectangles) on the inside of the shank. They did all of this and came in under the other jewelers cost, plus the diamond was a better cut, color and clarity. I cannot recommend them enough. Five stars across the board.
