Most of which, by the way, David (the final family owner) ordered from carefully protected sources in NYC. Yes, I knew him. Then I married into a family of 'generational deli food tradition' and was introduced to the best bagels Northern Jersey and NYC have to offer. Late in life, we've moved to South Jersey. Alas, traditional Sunday fish platters have been hard, but not impossible, to replicate. As for Jersey Hot Bagels? These were the WORST bagels I've ever eaten. Way worse even than supermarket bagels. Small. Soft. No crust crunch. No internal chew. Just. Blah! Never again.....

Our next favorites have to be their ube, mint chip and pistachio hard ice cream! We sometimes get the brownie sundae. It hits the spot especially if you're hungry and craving something really sweet. If you don't need a huge dessert you can enjoy a kiddie size that is consists of one flavor. The regular size can be up to two flavors and I sometimes share it with my wife.
