My mom got a small sugar cone with mint chocolate chip ice cream. The total was $18 for the 2 of us. My eyes popped out of my head when I heard the total. I guess that's what you get for buying life cream near the beach. The gentleman that waited on us was friendly and helpful. I ended up throwing out 1/2 my ice cream, because it was just too much, but that's on me for not asking the size. I'm just glad I didn't get a large, because the medium was huge.

Walked right up and we're curious about their bowls made of frozen greens - graviota? - so they have us a sample. It was actually really good! We were there for açaí and yogurt though so stayed with that. One order was their nutty bowl with blueberries rather than strawberries. My dining partner sampled a few yogurt flavors and came away with vanilla, something tart, and raspberry. She tossed some mango and mochi balls on top and called it delicious. The açaí bowl had an entire banana on it and tons of blueberries. We enjoyed our treats there, ate it all. We'll stop in again!

We ordered the western omelet with a side of tomato and the Westine's Waffle Special with sausage links and a sunny side up egg. Omelet was too greasy for my taste. It was more like a deep fried omelet than your classic diner omelet. The Westines waffle was a little wimpy. Pretty thin and didn't seem fresh. It really reminded me of an eggo waffle but at a premium price. Seems like a beloved local spot and I'd be willing to come back but would get something else. I think this is a dessert place first, breakfast place second if you know what I mean. Classic breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon) seems more like the way to go here rather than omelet and waffle. Service was friendly but not very attentive.
