Because it's not in the middle of town, it's not very busy I've passed it many times and there are never long queues. There's a car wash to one side which I'll try sometime as well. The lady who served me inside the little shop yesterday was very friendly. You can also buy confectionery and newspapers here to save going into Tesco.

But it is quite roomy, and the shop-floor is bigger than compared to Greenock Petrol Filling Station, it is quite bright and clean. You also can top up your mobile phone and pay cash/credit card Also it does not have customer toilets! Even this filling station do not have a Car Wash! But they do gives you free water for the windscreen, and air as well. This filling station tends to get busy during the peak time, and the entrance and the exit to the road are good, and easy to get in and out of this station.

We filed up here having got a money off each litre of fuel due to shoping in the supermarket and it made a wee bit of a difference. The cars can manoever round the forecourt easily and the staff member was very friendly serving us. We got a newspaper and a few bottles of juice they had quite a lot of bits and pieces for your everyday needs. The petrol station is ideally situated for the tourists driving alongside the clyde as it would not take you too far off your planned route and it is easy to find you can not miss it!

Tried to get me to drive on but I saw the staff all whispering to each other. I got out my car to my front plate falling on the floor. Would have put me off the road if lost and seen driving with no registration. No other way home but to drive as live fair distance away. Principle of allowing me to believe all is well and to drive on and put myself at risk of fines or trouble with the law at their hands. I am a young woman standing in the middle of Ibrox streets and feel this is not acceptable. They still proceeded to take my payment. I sat outside for 40 minutes trying to ask for screws and screwdriver. Eventually was told to pull into their valet space for the light while they try figure out what can be done. Eventually after being there a long while I get help putting bigger threaded screws back on registration to at least mean I can drive home safely. LEGALLY. Not impressed. "Boss" came and gave me my money back with a number to call if my plate came off while on the road.

Rainbow offer several grades of wash from basic, through to 'Supreme' and even full interior valeting options. They can also do vans, large trucks and even buses. I usually go for the Supreme, which means that you get a high pressure jet-wash and brush clean by hand before entering the automated conveyor wash. I've been in some drive-through wash places where the car has come out the other end with dirty spots still remaining, but with Rainbow everything always looks squeaky clean right down to the wheel hubs and wing mirrors. The water is recycled so they're as eco-friendly as they come, and they've recently introduced a loyalty scheme whereby every third wash is free - bonus! The only thing that puzzles me is why they insist on putting a plastic bag 'condom' over the rear windscreen wiper, which you than have to remove once you exit. It always seems rather wasteful to me, but I guess there must be a risk of the rear wiper being caught in the brush rollers or something?

But the attitude of the Italian (?) owner was way too rude, like I was wasting his time! You just lost a regular customer.

The prices are very reasonable, £3-6 for different basic hand washes, £12 for a Mini Valet (smaller cars) & £20-50 for a Full Valet (bigger cars). Hardly any staff wearing face masks, filthy waiting room where customers weren't wearing face masks either. After 30 mins a man called me over to tell me he had locked my car keys inside the car! I have no idea how this happened but it was clearly my problem- it was suggested I go home to get the spare key, or that someone else at home bring the key. I explained this was the only car we had. There was a lot of shrugging if shoulders and no effort to help.  In the end my daughter had to leave her work, go to my house pick up the spare key and bring it to the car wash - a round trip of 45 minutes. They then charged me 1/2 price. I left and on my way home noticed that the drivers footwell was filthy ..., half the car hadn't been cleaned this left me feeling very angry and will certainly not be visiting again.
