When I'm a tourist, I love stumbling on little shops where locals go to for their meals. We were super early to tour the nearby Dumbarton Castle so we wandered down the street and stumbled onto this little shop to have a second breakfast. It's a fast food shop where you can grab a simple meal, a quick snack or a cup of coffee. Plenty of the locals were picking up breakfasts while we were there.
I had the hot roll with sausage (only 1.30 pounds!) and even had a choice of soft or crisp roll. The shop is run by a very nice lady, but she handles the orders, cooking and payments on her own. Don't think it would ever get too crowded, but be patient and don't rush her! read more
