Totally awesome place, had a very good experience getting some 100,000 mile work done on my car. Did a great job for a great price.

I don't know how this place can call themselves a business. This auto shop is absolutely the worst…read more You cannot be in your right frame of mind, and treat a customer this poorly. Where do your standards start? I would absolutely never ever recommend this place to anyone ever. I will not even fix my lips to start to say the name of this shop as a recommendation to anyone. Grab a drink for this one. I drop my car off at this shop on Friday the 17th, it was after hrs and I knew no one would be there, that's fine. According to the hrs listed, they were supposed to be open Saturday morning from 8am-2pm. I go to the shop at 9am and no one is there. I call and leave a voicemail explaining my situation because I figured businesses do check their voicemailIs right? I go home come back at around 11am and still no one is there, that's fine. Now it's Monday the 20th. It's 10:30am and I haven't heard from them. So I give our friends a call. They answered the phone and had no idea what I was talking about with my car. Guess some businesses don't check their business voicemails. So I told them about my car and where I left the key. They tell me they're busy today so they can't get to it today, but they will tomorrow for sure. That's fine. Tuesday come around, I hear nothing from them, Wednesday come around and I still don't hear anything, so I call our friends, again. First some rude guy answers the phone, and then someone else comes to the phone. They still couldn't get to my car but they will run a diagnostic right now and call me back. This was Wednesday May 22nd. I never got a call back. On Thursday, May 30th I go to the shop. The car is sitting in the same place, doesn't look like it's been moved. A guy was sitting at the front desk. We have never met a day in our lives. I told I'm here for said car. He just simply gives me the keys and says nothing else. I mean how does this guy even know the car belongs to me? He said nothing about what's going on with it, just nothing at all! A few days later I have my car towed from this place and that's when I discovered my window has been down...and it seems like it's been down for a while and there was heavy rain the last few days. So I guess that's some sort of good news right. I mean one of them at least sat in it. At this point, I need to know what happened to Auto Doc. That was the auto shop that was there before this so called mechanic shop moved there. Auto Doc knew how to treat customers and fix cars. I thought the two go hand in hand when you own a mechanic shop. Guess not for all.

Excellent job by Terry towing considering the high stress location. Loaded the vehicle quickly and…read morecorrectly. The shop was able to get the car repaired quickly in 1 day. I was correct that it was a loss of spark. Oddly the receipt says no warranty at all, unless it's by the part maker. Considering this, and diagnosis fee- I told them no spark, its not a 5 star review considering the price. They fixed a high stress situation. Absolute bad job by Willowbrook PD. My car was disabled at the light on Route 83 South and 63rd. This is a horrible spot to be disabled. I called in requesting a push over to the shoulder, or at least the left turn lane next to me (getting out of the way of highway speed traffic). Either I could take a look or call roadside service. The cop refused and alleged it was unsafe to push me through the intersection. Having cars slam on their brakes behind you doing 60mph+ is unsafe. Didn't mind having the flatbed go into the intersection to load me onto the truck. I asked again and got the same replay after waiting 20 mins getting uneasy over the cars possibly crashing into us. He parked behind me and had his emergency lights off! Overrode me and ordered their own tow and wouldn't let me use my roadside assistance. Before this, I saw his truck (with push bars) casually coast through the grocery store parking lot. No sense of safety nor urgency. I literally should have put it into neutral and pushed it myself if I knew he would do this. Protect and serve, not me. Literally cost me $350 over what I could have fixed it myself for. Review is for both the repair and towing.

This place is awful. They lack professionalism, skill, and have no compass of customer service. My…read morecar is actually worse having been here. They had my car for over 15 months and actually caused more damage on my vehicle then what they fixed - they ripped my seats, broke all kinds of panels, missing parts, and the completed weather stripping installed is clearly flawed. Their work is sloppy and subpar. My door panel isnt seated correctly after $6200+ in work. Then when brought this to their attention, they said 'I am a customer they could never make happy' and Bob got in my face. My advise to anyone doing business here: - Document your vehicle before you drop it off - pictures and video inside and out. Also, document throughout the process. They will try and say damage was existing when things break. - Stop in and check on your car - you will see parts scattered all over your cup holders and vehicle. They had parts wedged into the glove box of my car with the lid closed causing permanent bends in the plastic lid. Dirty shop rags and paper floor mats in the hatch area. - Get everything Bob says in writing. He is a career used car sales man in a service roll; and it shows. He doesn't care about your vehicle and will blame others on his team when the job goes sideways. He will bill you for unauthorized work 'to make it right' - Read through your quote and final invoice. DO NOT let them charge you for any unauthorized work or inflated labor hours from your quote - Hold them accountable for any unsatisfactory work. No one comes to this place to save money. Unfortunately, there isn't any tech in this place who is organized or skilled enough to do quality work. They have constant turnover of their staff which has them dropping the ball for skill and timelines. - Make sure you get your original parts back. Some of the aftermarket parts they get are not 1 to 1 matches. I had them replace my leather shifter pouch and the one they put on is not a match. I'd actually prefer my old one back on, but was never given it. I had to argue with Bob to get some of my original parts back; of which, this pouch and other parts are missing. This place doesn't care about your vehicle or your business - I will try and post pictures to show the nightmare I endured over the last year and half attached to this review.

That being said, I'll give it five stars for the coolness factor and for the selection of quality cars and an immaculate showroom with passionate owners. I'm from a car buff family, and I married a car buff. I've been around cool cars and hot rod cars since I was a kid. I don't know much about corvettes, other than the fact they are really amazing to look at...especially the vintage ones. We met up with a friend at their recent open house, and we were were immediately whisked away by one of the owners for a detailed tour. Michael was welcoming and knew the background on each one of the cars. He said most of their purchases come in via the Internet...who knew? I couldn't keep my eyes off the vintage beauty that was currently being auctioned off...an old barn find. Doesn't the repair shop remind you of a scene out of Fast and Furious? Burr Ridge is far, and this dealership is a bit hidden, but it's so worth the visit if you're into cars or in the market for a real classic beauty!
