My mother-in-law recently purchased a new Prius from Route 44. She is a "snowbird" so she asked how does registering the car work, as her vehicles are registered in Florida. The manager said it wouldn't be a problem because they have a service that can take care of that. She paid over $450 for this service, only to find out that they listed the car's color as black instead of the yellow. When she called and explained this to the dealership they said it was her problem and that they couldn't do anything. They certainly had no issue collecting money for this. After going back and forth with sales she was left to deal with this herself. If you are looking for a Toyota, I suggest to shop other dealerships. Route 44 cares nothing after the sale. read more

Just made complaint through their website as well.. I'm pasting it here...... I just left there at 4pm from an appointment I had with Denise your service manager. 3rd time to look at my truck. Seemed like right off the bat he had an attitude. Not sure if it was because of my first complaint or because he had to go out in the rain. He said nothing to me, no intro nothing just " you have the keys " .... Instantly off to a bad start. 30 seconds in the store and I'm already feeling like this isn't going to go good. We both walked out to my truck and I explained to him that I know what the problem is already and I just want to see what you come up with. He turned and said I have other things to do and I don't want to waste my time so can you just tell me? In the pouring rain I crawled under my truck and grabbed the cv joint and let him listen to the bearing clearance/damage knocking within the front differential. As I did that he said " differential bearing" I said yes. Not a bad tire or alignment as stated by the Master mechanic in July. We got inside the truck together and I explained what the failed bearing is doing to my front diff. I also had a copy of the mechanics notes from the diagnosis from July. I also had a copy of a forum with a person stating he had a 2021 tundra and Toyota put in in three differentials in it so far because of The same bearing. It almost sounded like I was getting somewhere when he stated that he has never seen somebody print out information for him like this. I explained to him that I have no problem looking up information to help you make a better decision and I also stated that I made a lot of phone calls and even called Toyota corporation about this situation. Right when I told him that his immediate response is why didn't you let corporate take care of this issue. Immediately trying to throw me away.. He was clearly threatened or pissed by the first complaint I made. I ignored that sarcasm and continued to educate him. He told me straight out that he has never seen this bearing fail before. With that said, I knew I was in the middle of a training seminar for this individual to help him. I moved on to the next page and started reading the master mechanics quotes of sarcasm that insulted me. The notes explained I need an alignment and new tires. The notes then quoted. "If the customer does not want to hear tire noise then don't buy an aggressive tire.".. I explained to him that 80 mph my truck goes straight down the road and my tires have about 5,000 mi on them. The last thing I said before he reached his breaking point was " you guys misdiagnosed my truck" Right at this point he stopped me in my explanations and out of nowhere he handed me my paperwork that I was providing him with information and he said " I'm done with you let corporate deal with it.." I couldn't believe what I was hearing in that very moment. I bought the truck here in raynham and this guy disrespected me beyond my expectations. At this point I said you know who's going to deal with it. Your general manager. I got out of the truck and proceeded to walk straight to the building. He got out and started following me and he made some comment and I just turned around and said you're an idiot and kept walking.. I reached the manager sales desk and asked for the general manager which is Damien, my old coworker when I was selling cars at route 44 Toyota . I was talking to the guys behind the desk and explaining the situation. Dennis ended up walking into that front area when I was there. I said firmly as I was slapping my hand on the desk. " I'm afraid to put my family in this vehicle" Instead of showing any compassion for my concerns which is elementary sales education... He insulted me and said exactly *you have problems ".. Right at that second I grabbed my paperwork and walked out and said okay. Corporate it is then... I filed a complaint against the service manager Dennis only so far. I also made them aware that two mechanics from Toyota said two different things. One said It's a bearing and the master mechanic said it was my tires and alignment. The junior mechanic has a good ear. He's the first mechanic that took my truck for a ride in July. When the parts came in the master mechanic is the one that didn't feel like doing it on a Friday and made a list like alignment, tires etc..etc... How and why Dennis is A service manager is beyond me. He needs to go back to being a Toyota certification technician. I'd even worry about that because if he doesn't know what he's talking about then he's putting the public in a dangerous vehicle that's not roadworthy... I'm not sure who's more of a liability. The person that says it's safe to drive or the manager that signs off on the master mechanics assumption. Like I said I did call Toyota corporation and they should be contacting you today or tomorrow to resolve this. Mistakes were made that need to be corrected because every day I drive this. read more

Extremely Disappointed with Route 44 Toyota Service Department I brought my car to Route 44 Toyota last week due to swaying and instability when braking. I was told the rear brakes were bad and needed replacement, but the front brakes passed inspection and were marked "green" on their report. After the service, the problem got worse. The car was still swaying badly when braking. I brought it back this week and was told I now needed new front brakes--just one week after they said they were fine. Even more concerning, they then told me a front caliper was seized, which clearly would have contributed to the braking issues I had all along. I asked how this wasn't caught in the inspection, and was told they "only take the wheels off" and "can't see the calipers." That response is completely unacceptable for a professional service center doing a brake inspection. How do you miss a seized caliper? While they agreed to cover labor, I'm still stuck paying for the parts due to a misdiagnosis that could have been avoided with a thorough inspection the first time. I've lost confidence in Route 44 Toyota's Service Department and won't be returning. If safety and proper diagnostics matter to you, I suggest going elsewhere. Lastly I wanted to give them an opportunity to discuss this with me. I asked the service manager to call me which he didn't (Dennis Tucker), I also sent an email to the owner with no response - so I guess my business is not as important as I thought it should be. read more

DO NOT GO HERE as a 19 year old girl I went in with my brother and boyfriend but I did all the talking. I spoke with Alex who was great up until I came to making a deal I wanted to lease a 2025 Toyota Corolla se they had just sold the last one so I was unable to test drive it I was unwilling to make a deal on a car I hadn't even been able to see so he eventually had his manager come over to me and later asked me out because I requested more time. I later called Alex with a deal and came back in a few days later. He informs me they will look for the car because the don't have it in stock and they had a similar car to what I wanted coming in around the middle of August.After going through the whole paper work process and everything I put down a deposit. I gave them a week after no call and called Alex and he answered and very quickly rushed me off the phone stating he'd have to check in with his locating manager. Two weeks later I call again no answer the next day I call again he says they found a car in Connecticut and would see if they could get it for me by the next week. A week later I call again no answer I call again and he reply's with "it must've gotten sold" i gave him from August 8th- September 24 before I went to another dealership and was able to get a car in just 4 days.Oh and the car that was supposedly coming in the middle of August which was supposed to be mine since I had a deposit down on it, he kept changing the dates on me over and over it went from the middle of August to the middle of October. He also tried to get me to pay a $500 monthly payment for the said car I wanted if you look into that you can see how crazy that is but I can say I was able to talk that down and again he tried to give me $500 for my car to trade in which I was slightly able to talk up. I had 1 question about my warranty which took chatting with their AI bot that said "We will call you back" 3 times and me actually calling and leaving a message 3 times with no return calls. I had to leave an email with the dealership to have the service manager call me back, which he did finally but gave me a bad attitude like I was putting him out. The service department notified me by mail that my car had a recall, I made an appointment for a week away , I show up to the appointment for me to have a recall part replaced, and they tell me they don't even have the part and they shouldn't have made me the app on a Saturday? Now they want me to come back on Thursday after the $&@$&@ told me it's my fault for making the appointment on line. They miss diagnosed a wheel bearing and charged $4800. The managers are giving me the runaround. They took 4 months to finally fix the truck. After my family and I drove around on a bad bearing for 4 months. In that time more damage was caused to my truck. I still haven't gotten to speak with the manager. read more

On 8/23/2025 I bought a new 2025 Camry and traded in a 2018 Toyota Yaris is that they offered me $5000 for. I told them the title had been destroyed and the said I would have to request a duplicate, which I did the same day. They also said that I would have to give them $5000 to hold onto until the duplicate title came in if I wanted to take the new car that day. I told them, and I said it repeatedly to 3 different people, that I didn't have $5000 and would gladly wait 2 weeks for the new title to come in before picking up the new car. As the day progressed, they then told me it wouldn't be a problem and that I could just take the car. They basically pushed me to take the car that day. I don't know why it was so important to them for me to take the car that day. I had already signed all of the paperwork, given them a $500 check and agreed to start the payments. I see no reason why I couldn't have just kept my old car for 2 weeks while I was waiting for the title. A few days later, I get a text from the salesperson, Alex, showing me a picture of an email that said that the rta form that was submitted to the rmv was denied because the new car wasn't on my insurance policy. Duh! It was their responsibility to transfer the insurance first and then the registration. This is when it hit me that my car wasn't insured properly. I had bare bones insurance on my old car because it was old and I owned it outright. So those people let me drive off of the lot with no collision or comprehensive insurance. And after Saturday 8/30/2025, the 7 day transfer period would expire, at which point I would have no insurance whatsoever on the $36000 car sitting in my driveway. I immediately went to an insurance agency and bought and paid for 1 year of full coverage. Once I did this, I called Alex and told him that I got new insurance and gave him the info required to transfer the registration. Then they were back to wanting $5000 to hold onto before they would transfer the registration. After they had already given me the car without the $5000, they were refusing to transfer the registration without it. I told them that if they wanted to make a big stink about the title and if I had to liquify $5000 worth of investments then I would give them the money and just take the car back. They told me they couldn't do that because they already sold the car. I told him he couldn't sell the car without the title. He said he's been doing this for 7 years and yes he could sell the car without the title. I told them that I wouldn't give them $5000 collateral for a car they already sold without the title they supposedly needed so much. I threatened to take legal action and that ended that call with Alex. Then later I got a call from the sales manager, I don't remember his name, and he refused to transfer my registration without my giving him the title. He is able to transfer the registration. It's not that he is unable, he refuses to. I now have no car to drive which I would've had if they had just let me pick up the car in 2 weeks. I told the sales manager that I had nothing to drive now because of him. He told me to go ahead and drive the car. Driving this car at this point is illegal! He told me to drive the car illegally! That, apparently is better than him just transferring the damned registration without the title. Even though I've sent them a screenshot of the receipt that I got from the rmv. That's proof I'm not trying to pull a fast one. As I'm writing this, it's 9/3/2025. The last day of insurance on my old car and I didn't renew the policy for obvious reasons. After today, the old registration will be cancelled by the rmv and will no longer be eligible for transfer. Not sure what happens then but for now I'm posting this review on every website where it's possible to post a review. I've filed formal complaints against Rte 44 Toyota with the BBB, Toyota, the Federal Trade Commission and the MA Attorney Genera's office. And I hope each of those agencies and each of these reviews pokes them right in the eye! This is actually the 3rd new car purchase at this dealership and needless to say, the last. They apparently don't believe in repeat business. They will never get another penny of my money nor will they ever get a penny belonging to anyone I know. Relative to the Sale Department. I went in to discuss purchasing a new 2025 Rav4 XLE premium. After discussing numbers, I left a deposit. What I didn't get was anything from them regarding my trade-in value, the specifics of the agreement... nothing. I called repeatedly asking for a copy of what had been discussed. Each time I was given the spec sheet. Despite repeated requests, I informed them I wanted to cancel my order. I notified them on a Sunday after providing them with a deposit the day before. I told them to ask the office NOT to deposit the check since the bank had not been opened anyway. Instead, they deposited it, and I was told I would have to wait 10 days for a refund. That was August 9. As of August 26, I still had not received my money. I called them threatening to come in and notify anyone that was in the showroom that they should be leery of doing any business with them (with I had read the reviews). They finally called me back and said the check would go out that day... what would have happened if I just didn't call. Obviously, it was beyond the 10 days (whether it be business days or calendar days). I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Went in last Friday at 4:30 for an oil change and tire rotation. It was dark out when I left so I did not see any of this but the next day I noticed a hand print on my back door with what looked like oil. Do NOT recommend the service department. On May 2nd I had brought my 2019 Camry in for a new strut and specifically came to this location due to my warranty covering the tow truck. One part (mount) was on backorder for about a week, thankfully my warranty did cover a loaner vehicle, so Vanessa (service advisor) helped with that. She not only gave me an electrical car that was not useful for my distance from home to my two jobs, but she gave me a vehicle that had damages in the front. When pointing them out she CLEARLY stated, "to not worry, I had already taken pictures, those damages were already there." On Tuesday May 14th I was required to bring the loaner vehicle in for a checkup with Vanessa. She stated again that "everything was good". That same day I received a call from parts stating everything came in. On May 17th I gave a call and was told that Tonnie (service advisor) who was working on my vehicle was not in to give a call back on Monday. May 20th came, and I asked to speak with Tonnie. He stated that my vehicle has yet to be worked on because they didn't "realize" I needed a strut. I was frustrated after that statement. I not only came in telling them I needed a WHOLE NEW STRUT SET but if they would have done a correct inspection, they would know that themselves. They had my vehicle sitting outside behind their dealership knowing the parts came in 6 days ago. May 21st came, and I asked to speak with Dennis (service manager). I told him the issues and lack of communication skills I've been dealing with his employees, and he was able to help right away. My car was finished within 2 hours and was able to pick it up. Once arrived I returned the loaner vehicle with no issue and received back my Camry. Driving off it sounded like something was scraping. I wasn't able to return because the service department had already closed. Thankfully I work at a Ford dealership where they were able to finish the job Toyota was responsible for. My under shield was hanging, cracked, and dragging on the ground. On May 22nd, I received two separate notifications. One stating Toyota 44 took out $200 out my credit card and one stating they filed a claim against me through my insurance. Just when I thought this was over, I was frustrated all over again. One, I should have not been charged due to my warranty covering it all or at least without my knowledge. Two, the claim that was filed against me was stating I apparently got into an accident with their loaner vehicle?????? I have called and asked for all three service advisors and the manager. Neither Dennis, Tonnie, or Vanessa has gotten back to me. I left voicemails and notes with the front desk asking to speak with somebody. I even tried reaching out to the sale's general manager and still nothing. It seems as though they are avoiding me, and I'm being taken advantage because of my age. Not only did they charge me without my knowledge or explanation, but they are also trying to blame me for receiving an already damaged loaner vehicle by saying I somehow got into an accident. The car looked immaculate, surfaces gleaming, "She's beautiful ain't she?" asked the dealer, beaming. Helpful and friendly the staff was not scheming. The car, he promised, would cause me no worry, Route 44 Toyota's long trusted with local renown. He offered a test drive, said "No need to hurry, as long as you stay within limits of town". I took up the offer and signed on a paper. The engine was purring and swift to respond. But being a person who doesn't like a caper, I stayed within town limits, never beyond. I bought 2 cars same day! I traded a lease and a loan. The sales guy Dan messed up my deposit and let me leave with detached place. Then when I was speaking to my insurance company they explained what detached plates means and told me I am not covered. So after driving 2 days like this unknowingly knowing this was not ok. Dan told me to just drive careful and go back to the dealership as soon as I could get there. Now I am at work not even close to the dealership. I refused to drive the car knowing this info. So I spoke to derek the sales manager and he had Dan drive the plates to me. Now this is Tuesday, and my cars are still not properly registered or insured. I am now on dealer plates. Back and forth all week with insurance agent and dealership. I will say I don't think my agent was helpful as well which made the situation worse. The deposit mess up held to process up a bit. Now there is poor communication between the insurance agent and dealership. It turned into a they did this they did that ordeal. So now let's bring it to the Saturday a week 7 days after getting my cars. And still no registration. I had to bring my second car back to the dealership for dealer plates. At this point I just want my old cars back. So much regret buying with them So now Monday 9 days later I get a call one car is all set and Dan is going to bring my registration to my work and take the dealer plate and put my plates on my car. Still dealing with all this while I am trying to work. He never came. He was waiting for the registration to be completed on the other car to bring me both. It took to long and he was not going to make it by the time I got out. Now My days start early. So now I have to sit in traffic coming from Boston area to go to raynham to get this done because it has been such a headache at this point. Now I was told they did not have a sticker machine by Bobby in finance a week ago but Dan told me today that they just got one. So on my way to the dealer ship I call Dan and tell him I am coming for my registration and sticker . He said no problem. I told him when I would be there by. I get there and he said service was closed and I would have to go somewhere else to get it done. He gave me a voucher to go to the Sunoco down the road. Super annoyed at this point. So for my other car he said he would go and pick up the dealer plates tomorrow and give a check to go wherever for the inspection. His word means nothing at this point. So not sure how that's going to go. He also told me my Bluetooth in my car was not working because my car in not compatible with Apple phones. So if you have a apple don't buy a Toyota! I am also having a message every time when I turn on my car saying there is a communication fail . No one could tell me why. I will have to go back and see service ! BUYER BEWARE, looked to purchase a new 2024 Toyota Highlander from the dealership. Vehicle in question was not on the lot. Was in production and would arrive possibly mid-August. My wife test drove a 2021 to see how she liked the Highlander. I took my wife's car that we were going to trade to the dealership the next day to get a trade in offer. Spoke with Matt Fiorino. The trade in offer was fair, the purchase price of the car was also fair. Matt told me that to HOLD the vehicle it would require a $500 REFUNDABLE deposit. I was in agreement. Again, the vehicle was not there, my wife wasn't sure of the shade of blue that it was. So, we agreed to do the deal. I was then introduced to Jeff, the salesmen. Very professional. Matt asked him to write up the offer. He said to make sure to write refundable deposit on the agreement. I gave Jeff my credit card to put the car on hold. He went to do so. A few minutes later Jeff returns with Edgar Morales who informs me that he can't do the deal. Surprised I asked why. He proceeded to tell me that the Highlander is a sought-out vehicle, and they are scarce. To do the deal it would have to be for a NON REFUNABLE DEPOSIT. I asked what changed. Just don't wate your time...literally and figuratively. They take hours for regularly scheduled maintenance (not uncommon tonwait 3 hours) and the job always seems to be missing something. Ask for maintenance and an inspection you'll get one but not both. Expect scheduled maintenance and your tires aren't rotatated. Get new brakes on a prius and they'll need to be replaced in a year. Have two cars? Expect them to be confused during any interaction. We'll drive an hour from now on to save on both aggravation and money. read more

I would not recommend going here unless you want to spend well over the sticker price and work with a pushy associate. I ended up withdrawing my deposit from here and going elsewhere. They will try to bully you and tell you that you need to come in to return your deposit or the manager "might not be able to return it" but this is not true. I would highly recommend Lexington Toyota. Right on the website it says that they won't charge you over the MSRP. I ended up with a Hybrid model for $600 less than what they would have charged me for a gas model (and this included a remote start). I also received 4 other quotes from 3 other dealerships for $1,500-2,000 less on the same gas powered model. Do your research and search elsewhere. Do not settle when they tell you "everyone is charging over the sticker price," because that is simply not true. read more

2024 toyota 4 runner limited w / 5,200 miles - one tire losing air very slowly .... Go to Rt 44 toyota to check why .... Was told tire cannot be fixed and need new tire ! Their cost noted on statement I received from them, a Toyota dealer , to do is $626.97 (for one (1) tire) - you fuc-ing kidding me ... that is fuc-king outrageous!!!!! i can get the same tire that is on car for $244.00 and with mounting / balancing , tire disposal and Massachusetts sales tax - total $298.00 !!!! Fuc-king toyota dealership needs to pull their head out of their fuc-ing arse and respect people who purchase cars from toyota and cut fuc-king ripping us off .... What fuc-king nerve (a disgrace ) hope you fuc-king people go out of business ..... I let them do an oil change because Toyota only does first oil change at 10,000 miles on new car warranty .... I wish I could give them no stars!! Went in to get a sticker couldn't pass due to a light out. Considering I just got the car I was annoyed and asked how much to fix it. $40 yes $40. Now I'm angry so I tell them I just got the car and there was no way it was out so give me my car I will go buy a light put it in myself and come back. After walking in to get my stuff he tells me that he just tapped the light and it "magically" worked but something is wrong with it and I should get it fixed but the car passes. Have always been satisfied with their work. Except for my little door that leads to my in cabin filter. I went in for oil change, in cabin filter change, 12 point check up. Whoever did it, broke one tab off so it will fall out and hang into where you passenger has his feet! I have asked them to replace/fix it three separate times without having it fixed successfully! Why!? I am about to notify Toyota themselves! It's too bad, because I have been very happy with their service so far. You'd think they wouldn't want to ruin our relationship and loose a customer and anyone I talk to about this?! Over a stupid small part that they broke! read more

I have been going back and fourth on whether or not I want to get rid of my vehicle. This place is EXTREMELY persistent to say the least. I've been going back and fourth for a year with this place. I was finally convinced by Samantha to bring my vehicle in to get it appraised. Now my full and only intention was to get an appraisal. That's it. Nothing else, no ifs ands or buts about it. I'm done with payments and I just wanted to see the offer on my vehicle. I was told to come in and ask for Bobby Sousa, was met by Alivia and seated. She walked out back to "get Bobby" which I already knew at this point I'd be dealing with her. He's busy so she starts with all the usual questions, takes my keys to get the appraisal. There is a difference between cocky and confidence. She is very very cocky and very pushy. I told her right off the bat I don't want to get into anything else I just want the appraisal first and then we could go from there. I was there for 30/40 minutes and the whole time was I can't help you if you don't trust me and trying to get me to run my credit after blatantly telling her I don't want to and I couldn't/ don't want to be finance and just wanted my offer. After a ton of times her going back and fourth to the back I finally get my offer and it's not near where I wanted to be and I already knew that. I told her it was just too far off and I was all set I wanted my keys. She insisted we weren't that far off from what I said I wanted which was wrong. We weren't far off from the original online offer that I was told I could get more from and 6k off from where I wanted to be which I don't even care about that but the pushy, cocky attitude is just awful. It was literally laughable. The whole time was arguing back and fourth how I didn't want to be financed and how I just needed to trust her so she could get me into something. The whole thing was just extremely uncomfortable. She gave me her card and went to get my keys, I obviously didn't take the card because someone couldn't pay me to ever walk back into that place. When I could finally leave with my keys I walk outside and can't find where they parked it, she finally came out to tell me it's on the side. I would avoid this place at all costs. Everyone stands out front like vultures as you walk up to the place and it's just a bad feeling the whole time. To add to it in height of Covid you can see a massive amount of fingerprints on everything, desks and especially the tablets. Unsafe practices. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They need major customer service training- starts at the top with Tim Bruno and John Pina- not a drop of empathy, ethics or professionalism. The service manager and advisers were decent enough, but missed some major steps and cost us time and lots of money. Customers deserve better. What should have been a $1500 valve spring job cost me over $8000 for a full blown engine replacement because they skipped a standard diagnostic for compression, a leak down test. It's like skipping an X-ray and amputating an arm..they told me they did all they could to identify the cause and that this was the most cost efficient avenue. All lies and so they can make more money. Stay away unless you want to be treated disrespectfully and manipulated. read more

A little back-story, I was in the area of the dealership because I was going to see a vehicle at another dealership down the road. So on my way in I stopped by to look at a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali I saw online earlier that day. When my Wife and I got there, we immediately found the vehicle but the rubber strip on the driver's side was literally hanging off. The front and back sections were attached but not the middle. I looked at the passengers side strip and it wasn't hanging per say, but it wasn't attached and was just placed on the slot where it belongs. In addition to looking at the remainder of the vehicle a couple tires were dry rotted and in need of replacement. I emailed the dealer a couple days later via CarGurus addressing these concerns. In the message I sent them I mentioned the rubber stripping and the tires. In the initial email that I received it was a generic thank you for your time, we value your time and we want to make a deal with you email. I ignored that and didn't respond. A couple days later I received an email from Bobby Sousa an employee with the internet sales department. His email was generic and wanted to know if they were proceeding at a "comfortable pace". In neither this email or the previous one, was the content of my initial message addressed. Because of this, I mentioned that my original message went ignored. This is where the correspondence with Bobby Sousa took a turn for the gutter. He asked me what my concerns were and asked when I could come see the vehicle in person. First, my concerns were already brought up in the initial contact email. Instead of actually reading the message and seeing how the customer can be properly serviced they jump into the generic form emails. Second, before you start trying to drag a customer in, there should be some sort of relationship built to get them comfortable with you. However, if that is the business practice fine, but the story continues. In my reply, I state that I already saw the car in person and again explained my concerns. Bobby's reply was questioning if I came to the RT 44 Toyota in Raynham as he "just touched" the vehicle and took pictures and "didn't know what I was referring to". I replied to him yes, to the Toyota in Raynham. His reply was nothing by pictures of the vehicle specifically the roof and the tires, insinuating that what I said was inaccurate and essentially calling me a liar. Totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. That is when I replied telling them not to contact me again and I will take my money elsewhere. At any other dealership with a properly trained employee he would have acknowledged my concern (in the first email, but I digress) and let me know that someone would take a look at the vehicle and that he would follow up with me. At the follow up, again acknowledge the concern and let the customer know that someone looked at it and whatever may been wrong before isn't wrong now and must have already been addressed. Reassure the customer that if they come take a look at the vehicle the previous concerns were addressed. Then just to drive your point home, attach some pictures to put the customer at ease. Customer service 101. I am currently working with 3 other dealerships and this is the only one I have experienced such poor customer service and blatant condescension. Bobby Sousa was more concerned with trying to make a quick sale than he was ensuring the potential customer was taken care of and their needs/concerns were properly addressed. I purchased a 2021 Rav 4 Prime from this dealership on April 1, 2021. This model is a PHEV which is short for plug-in hybrid. I plug it in at night into the existing electrical outlet in my garage and in the morning the battery is fully charged. I have put 1,224 miles on the vehicle while using less than a quarter of a tank of gas. The battery/electric mode is currently good for 52 miles before kicking into hybrid mode. We rarely go farther than 52 miles a day. Anticipating the coming increase in Gasoline prices, I had been shopping for a PHEV for several months. They were a rarity. I tried Ford, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai and others and no one had them in stock. Many dealerships said they could order them for me but that the arrival time was iffy. This dealership said that they had 2 on order to arrive on March 17 and that I could place a refundable deposit and they would hold one for me. While I was waiting for the vehicle to come in, Toyota sent me an e-mail regarding the KBB trade in value for the Truck I was going to trade in. I completed the form and was given a range that my truck was worth. However, when this was presented to the dealership they refused to honor it saying that they do not use KBB, they use NADA which was less. Obviously, this KBB offer was just ruse to get one into the dealership so if you happen to get this email just ignore it. After a bit of haggling over minor details, interest rates etc. and being unable to find another PHEV in the region, I decided to go with this car. I do not regret the decision. Yet! I found the staff here to be friendly and straightforward although we did disagree on a few things. The truck that I traded for this vehicle was a Tundra that I purchased from them 15 years ago and virtually all the maintenance was performed by this dealership. My intent is to use this dealership to perform the maintenance on my new vehicle. read more
