Bought a used car from them. Like the car. Was told they would fix a few things and give me a new set of mats. That was in November when I bought the . Called them on it several times no responses. Salesman said the mats were backordered and that they would mail them to me. Yeah right. That's like checks in the mail. When I picked up car they put a filthy set of old mats in the car. I informed them they could pick it up by getting in their car and driving to me to get it. Then my registration is held hostage and I had to call and ask where it was after two weeks! My husband and I are your typical overly practical, angsty millennials who hate dealing with the stress of dealerships and smarmy dudes trying to sell you stuff. That said, we had a fantastic experience at Lance. We did some research on a used hybrid car we wanted and Mike was such a friendly and helpful salesperson to work with. These guys are not pushy or overbearing. The most important point here I want to make is that we did encounter some issues with the car after we purchased it, and Lance took care of it right away. Lance was kind enough to work with me on an issue I was having with my truck after purchasing at another dealership. The dealership I bought the truck from no longer wanted to work with me because I wasn't just going away I wanted my issue fixed. Tom called me and spoke to me with respect and assured me that they would take care of the issue I was having. Lance dropped my truck off after completely wet sanding and buffing it out. Following up on my posting, Stu called us on Saturday after finding out we were unhappy with the service. My husband and him spoke and went through our experience. Stu completely agreed that they had dropped the ball and was willing to help us out. He explained that Lance GMC does not normally have customer service like this and would help rectify the situation. We are looking forward to getting our car this week, with the accessories we wanted! I'm happy Stu showed us the customer service we had expected to receive from Lance GMC! It made us both feel better that Stu was willing to listen to our concerns and correct the situation. He even made some suggestions on the rain guards, stating that he wasn't a fan and had found they had some issues with the rain guards falling off and was going to see if they had other options for us to try. I was told they would give me a call back with all the information. Never got a call back. Not sure how they expect to make sales with that type of service (or lack there of). Horrible horrible horrible. Run, don't walk away from this dealership. Took them over 3 weeks after I signed the papers for them to have my vehicle ready. They blamed the registry. They are a bunch of scam artists. We fulfilled our end of the I owe you owe contract and they fulfilled nothing. I spent hundreds of dollars within a week of owning the vehicle. Everything they were suppose to fix before I received it was not fixed. They couldn't even register the vehicle right. I received a letter from the DMV stating that my registration was suspended indefinitely 2 weeks after I brought home the vehicle due to Station Buick's mistake and I had to re-register it on my own. Still waiting on them to reimburse me like they said they would. Not one manager there ever had the decency to respond back to any of my phone calls or my emails which was extremely frustrating. I've been getting the runaround for 2 months now. Worst experience ever. I am so glad that I refused to but into their extended warrantee. I have zero faith in their service department after misdiagnosing a squeal coming from the engine. I was told they supposedly replaced the belts but I ended up doing the serpentine belt and tensioner pulley myself. When I took off the old belt, I noticed that the service department only sprayed the old belt with belt dressing and never even changed the pulley. After I did it myself, the problem was fixed. Then there was the leaks on the roof, which I had to buy the parts and fix myself too. And the drivers door that was suppose to be repaired which they also never fixed like the contract said. read more

It's hard finding a quality service department that's why I go to a dealership. My experience here started off on the wrong foot when I arrived for my scheduled oil and fuel filter change on my 2017 Silverado Duramax. When I arrived the gentleman at the counter requested to see my registration, which I thought was odd so I went outside and looked for it. A nice lady came outside and stated "he's just being lazy and doesn't want to come outside to get your VIN." (RED FLAG). Later after picking up my vehicle, they told me they changed my engine heater chord due to a recall and stated it was just dangling in there which I knew was BS. When I got home I notice a giant greasy body print on my driver side bumper as if someone shirtless was leaning against my truck. Then I also noticed my fuel filter gauge wasn't reset so I don't know if they actually changed my fuel filter at all even though I was charged. Because of that I don't know if they changed anything at all. Now my check engine light is on. I called and left a message but no return call. I was super nice to these people and I love my truck which makes this service experience even more heartbreaking. read more

Excellent service and I typically get my car back within a day or 2. Also they actually follow through 100% of the time when they say they have a loaner vehicle for you, and if they don't have a loaner they pay for a rental they're great to deal with especially in the service department. read more

He was knowledgeable/informative of what I should expect in buying a car from Lance Auto from another state. Not once did I feel pressured, rushed and when Mike wasn't available the rest of the team I dealt with was just as pleasant. I can't imagine having a better experience buying a vehicle. The sales team went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the vehicle that was right for me. They spent countless hours and separate visits with me going through different options. They even went out of there way to customize a vehicle for me to meet the style I wanted. Then when all was done, a clerical error by my insurance agent made it so I could not take my vehicle with me the day I planned. While everyone was very nice at the dealership, it is still living up to the reputation of dealership service everywhere--completely overpriced. I had the plastic shift selector trigger on the automatic transmission of my 2013 Verano snap off (and BTW, why is a part that gets continual use in an integral system of the car made of plastic anyway?) Had my local mechanic not been on vacation, I'm willing to bet that he would have fixed it for under $100. The dealership price: $773. I suppose as long as people get their vehicles serviced there and are willing to pay exorbitant charges, dealerships will continue to do it. It doesn't do much for brand loyalty, I can tell you that. If I could find a car company that charged reasonable prices for service, it would incline me to buy that model and have it serviced there consistently. Right now, that ain't Buick. And while I have you--why in God's name did you discontinue making the Verano?? I talked at least 3 of my friends into buying one, only to see it vanish from the market....I gotta say, you guys are not exactly covering yourselves in glory as far as I'm concerned, and I guess I'm looking for another brand for my next car. We contacted Lance, and they said as soon as the vehicle we were looking for was available, they would contact us. And the day it came in we got the call and within a few days of seeing the car, we were the new owners of a Buick Enclave Avenir - first one sold! The sales folks all work together, they are very friendly, not pushy, and are pretty knowledgeable about the vehicles. There isn't any haggling. They provide you with a fair price right away, and if GM Buick is offering any deals, they are quick to check it out and apply any offers to the sale. Financing was a breeze as well. The sales consultant Robert Cappelletti took his time to go over every last feature of my new 2013 Buick Verano (and yes there is a lot - actually more than I expected..). From the moment walking into the place you will be treated with respect and I was shocked that at not one point did I feel pressured. Information was provided, 'competitors' when mentioned were not put down and all in all I would send my mom to Lance Buick. Stew Abramson, the manager took time to meet with me personally, this made me feel good - We all know the "good guy, bad guy" roll that most dealerships use when negotiating.. It's annoying, especially when your in sales and can spot it a mile away. They did not do that. Anyways, I love my new car and appreciate the service. Hope this info was useful! read more

Have had 4 bad experiences with Lance Service since they opened here in Mansfield. First, they lost my registration for an inspection, second issue was we needed a third key made for our vehicle for our son. They cut a GM key and it would not turn or move in the ignition. We were told we needed the ignition switch replaced because it felt loose. Funny, when the key opened the trunk and doors my husband had to convince them to re check the key cut. They told me to come back during the week to get key done on a different machine when a mechanic that knew how to use the machine was there. Went back after all the aggravation and possible bogus repair on our ignition, and still charged us $35 for the key. The 3rd issue was related to the ignition and key recall on my vehicle. GM required that all dealerships were required to replace all the keys for the vehicles included in the big ignition recall on Chevy vehicles. Lance asked us to turn in ALL our keys, as part of the mandatory recall resolution. So we did turn in our THREE keys. Lance refused to replace our 3rd key which had been purchased at Lance for our son within that year stating the recall only mandated two. My husband asked for our 3rd key back and Lance refused to give us our key back. I am still baffled how arguing this with the customer in the service area with no resolution is professional and good service for the customer. The fourth incident was yet for another simple recall fix. It was to correct the ignition recall, we called, identified the recall bulletin mailed to us, They said bring it in, we scheduled the vehicle to be serviced. Our vehicle sat there all day, arranged rides to pick up, and we were told they didnt do the work because the parts that were needed to fix the recall they didnt have yet from GM. So the question is why were we told to come in to fix! Also, 8 hrs or more no one could call us to say come get your car our mistake we dont have the parts. So what brought me to write this today is this...We have to repair our Chevy for what is a larger and expensive problem. We called 2 Chevy Dealers, one including Lance out of curiosity about the customer service we would receive over the phone. The first dealership we called they were more than helpful. Over the phone with our information we had and questions, they went ahead asked for our VIN number from the car and analyzed the error codes, finding possible service bulletins and estimating a cost for the possible job needed. The call was made to Lance next, Service department MANAGER, and same questions and info given to him and the response was, "You'll have to bring it in, I cant do that". My husband repeated the codes, offered our VIN number for looking up the bulletins that the other dealer was easily able to do over the phone, and was told again "you'll have to bring it in". They would love to charge a customer for undo, longer diagnostic time then try to be helpful to a customer with a decision whether to complete very expensive repair on a car. I live right next door so I usually bring my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix here for oil changes and repairs. I drop it off and walk back home, and tell them not to rush. They usually get it all fixed within a few hours. The guys behind the service desk are friendly and seem actually eager to please. Why 5 stars? I noticed that when I would use my windshield wipers the fluid would only come out of one wiper arm, as if the other one had become disconnected. I meant to ask them to check this when I dropped my car off for an oil change, but forgot. The next day I had to use the wipers and lo and behold, they had fixed it for me! Not only had they not charged me for it, they didn't even mention it, which to me means that whoever worked on my car actually cared about his work. Little details like this are what impress me most with places I do business with! I may even consider buying my next car from them, I was so impressed! read more

(It's my husbands dealership for repairs) they took it right in and while we were waiting we looked at their used cars. Robert came over to us and said "can I help you with anything or do you have any questions?" We said we were just looking. No worries he said. We looked a little more and asked some questions and he was SOOO kind. Needless to say because of his knowledge and willingness to help us downsize from a six to a four cylinder, we now are the proud owners of a beautiful vehicle at a good price and more efficient gas mileage. Technically poor. Terrible customer service. Lance Buick performed an oil change in my truck. Shortly afterward I noted that the oil pressure was very low. I checked the oil level. There was no oil measurable, not a drop. The truck was not leaking oil. I had to have the truck towed back Lance. They lied to my face and said it was only down 1/2 quart, and denied that they were responsible for not replacing the oil when they had changed it recently. Then they made me pay for the tow, even though the error, which they continue to deny, was theirs. Bad business. No way to treat anyone, and certainly not a fellow small business owner in your own community. Very disappointing. read more

Took my 2015 Sierra pick up here for a warranty radiator replacement and thought all went well. A few days later , one of lines they reattached to the radiator from the transmission popped out and emptied most of the fluid all over my engine, had to have it towed back to Lance. They reattached the line the next day , but did not want to give me any paperwork stating that they had to repair this again. I recently had to replace my ac condenser (out of warranty). When I took off the top plastic cover piece to expose the radiator and condenser coil, most of the radiator trim pieces where not attached (just laying inside) and a few were cracked. There was also a lower radiator mount bushing ( holds the radiator in place and keeps it from rubbing on the metal frame) that was missing. I know for a fact that the radiator, or anything else in the front of this truck, was every touched by any mechanic or dealer. I would never bring anything here for repairs again. I also had purchased a vehicle here several years ago, but they lost any repeat business from me on this as well. Stay away. read more

Stay clear, test drove a truck there and told them it had a shake. They told me the highway was part of the problem and that the new trucks are stiffer. They said they fixed it and when I picked it up, I tricked myself into thinking it was ok. It shakes badly at 63 to 75 mph. Was going to bring it back in and they said no loaners for tire problems even though the problem was there before I bought it. Service dept says every one of these trucks shake. Called Stu a liar and his response was that he will not fix my truck unless I apologize to him. Now I am stuck this truck and no one to fix it. read more

By far the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Never once was I pressured, or asked "what will it take you to buy a car today?". When I first walked in, the General Manager came right over and spoke to us and provided us with a lot of insight about the vehicle we were buying, that was above and beyond anything I could read on an analyst site on the internet.
