I went in for what should have been a simple installation of two new tires, yet it took nearly two hours to complete. Throughout the visit, I felt ignored and dismissed because I was a woman, and the customer service was unprofessional from start to finish. When I left, my vehicle had serious front-end issues that were not present before. I returned, waited another two hours, and was told they had test-driven the vehicle twice. Despite that, they still returned an unsafe vehicle to me. They claimed it needed further diagnostics but said it wasn't something they handled and told me I could come back later in the week to have it checked. After leaving, I quickly realized the vehicle was still unsafe to drive, so I returned once again. I waited almost another two hours before a different technician finally looked at it. He simply rotated the tires, and the work took less than 30 minutes. However, they refused to test drive the vehicle unless I waited another hour, even though the shop was closing in about 20 minutes. They also refused to schedule or perform the additional diagnostics they had previously told me to come back for later in the week. To make matters worse, the employees refused to provide their names when I asked, and they were hesitant to provide information for management. Overall, I spent almost six hours over multiple visits for a basic tire installation and still left with an unsafe vehicle and no real resolution. The lack of professionalism, accountability, communication, and customer service was unacceptable. I expected much better from a company that promotes safety and quality service. I will not be recommending service or returning!

I…read morewent to get my car inspected and they tried telling me my headlight was installed by an unqualified technician. They said they would need to fix it to pass me. I told them no pull my car out and I'll take it somewhere else. They then proceeded to tell me I couldn't get my car back until the inspection was complete. I told them that they do not have authorization to touch my car except to back it out of the bay. They refused and proceeded to take my keys, and went behind closed doors. I went into the bay leaned on my horn and did so until they came out. When the manager approached me I told him he had no right to hold my car hostage as it is my property. I told him to give me my keys and he refused to do so. I took the keys out of his hand, went into the bay, backed my car out, and left. All this occurred while they were saying "Your Screwed" and "I'm calling the police and having them arrest you." No one threatens and\or tries to take advantage of me To be sure all my bases were covered and to ensure the police were aware of the issue, I contacted the Raynham police myself and explained what happened. The Sargent told me that they could not take my property and they had no right to try and hold my vehicle. I went to another inspection station and talked to someone. They had just closed but told me there was nothing wrong with my headlights. I'll return there to get my vehicle inspected. Avoid the Sunoco station on RT 44 in Raynham.

He's honest, extremely knowledgeable about tire issues and would never let you walk out with a problem. This is a "state" inspection, they have to follow state standards on what is allowed as a passable inspection. If it's rejected, you can go somewhere to fix your issue and go back to pass. Also, no one is allowed in the bays while inspections are done, that's against the law. Also, you can't stop the inspection because you are not "happy" with your piece of shit of a so called car you got going on being rejected. Anyway, they've been standing strong for 40 years, if you have people that are mechanics that are "family" and "friends" then why not take it to those people who you deem as knowledgeable and better posed for the position of your issues. If it passes, it's safe and passed state standards. I recommend you read this site clearly and carefully, as it will explain why your vehicle was rejected. While driving, I noticed that the oil warning light had notified of a "oil change needed". I contacted the renter and they asked if I could bring it to Firestone. I arrived late in evening around 3:45pm. I was prepared to sit for a long time. Johnathan and the manger greeted me, they were quick on their game. As soon as I gave them the keys, they were all over it. They got the authorization I needed, and had the car in the bay in like 5 minutes flat. I called my renter and told them these guys were on their game. If the corporate guys are reading this... these guys took customer service to a whole new level. I picked my car up from the other shop and dropped it off with Midas. Just got the call back and you'll never guess! Instead of a 1.4k fix I'm looking at a 50 buck drain clearance. I will definitely be coming back, they have great customer service, they're quick and they're honest!

When I finally went in, they said they only did the oil change and "couldn't start the car"--which is exactly why it needed a new battery. It got worse from there. I was told I'd get a call (never did), then the employee tried to prove he contacted me using the wrong customer's info--twice. Then I was shown a disconnected ground wire, even though the car was running when I dropped it off. When I asked them to simply install the new battery, I was told, "you're not a technician, I don't do what you say." Completely rude and unprofessional. I told them not to touch my car and will be going to a real mechanic. I would not trust this location with my vehicle.
