$4.75 for a seltzer water. $4.50 for a bottle of beer.

Don't try to be sober here. They penalize the designated drivers here. A seltzer water from the hose costs more than a bottle of beer.

When we walked in we were seated immediately. It was nice not to have to wait. Our waitress was sweet and took our drink order very quickly. Their menu is okay, the usual breakfast food. Their western omelet would be better if they added jalapeños. The fruit bowl is large but too much cantaloupe. the biscuits and gravy was subpar- not a lot of flavor. It was quiet in there so we were able to have a good conversation. They have a patio in the back so you could eat outside also which is nice. Very expensive here though. Four two breakfasts with the tip it was $40.

I work in the area and had never tried Route 20, so I ordered takeout lunch today. Boy, was I disappointed!! The vegetable wrap I ordered was soggy with browning veggies. According to their website: VEGETABLE WRAP spinach tortilla loaded with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, green peppers & mushrooms, topped with feta cheese & Italian dressing 8 There was probably 2 mushrooms per 1/2 wrap and almost no tomato. Mainly the browning lettuce that looked leftover from the day before. Will never return, and DO NOT recommend!!!

Second visit to Route 20, this time for breakfast. Not too sure what to expect for breakfast, on my last visit we had dinner. Great choices on their breakfast menu. Everything from eggs, skillets, omelettes, their excellent fried chicken, pancakes and waffles. The whole shebang. Service was great. Coffee was hot. Full bar of course. Lots of food on your plate. Fair prices. Time to update the menus or menu system though. Go digital. Put the QR code on a table tent and you can update menu prices instantly. Or, print new menus. It's been quite some time that the "sign" has been on the door walking in. Everyone wants to see what they're paying for a meal weather they can afford it or not. I'll still come back for sure. Great place. And, they have live music!!!

Food: Their menu is kind've extensive- they make everything from fresh sub sandwiches, salads, burgers, tacos, fish and even enchiladas. Personally, I've tried a sub sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I've had better cheesesteaks but overall it was pretty good. I'll try more when I'm in the area. Location: this place can be easy to miss as it is located within a gas station at the corner of a busy intersection. There is some seating areas within the gas station, if one would like to eat there. During peak times, I'd encourage calling your order.

Convenient if you're staying at the hotel and want a nice relaxing and quiet place to enjoy a meal. In general all the food tasted fresh and did seem to use slightly better than normal ingredients. My favorite dish I tried was the Gnocchi Ala Vodka as the other ones seemed to be a bit bland. I also enjoyed the Beer Braised Reuben as the taste of the beef was prominent and the other elements complemented instead of distracted from the flavor. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here again but I would stop by if I'm in the area.

Since I was alone, I sat on the quiet side to work vs on the louder bar side. I ordered a small Caesar without croutons and a cheeseburger, medium, with blue cheese, double lettuce, and tomato with fries. Lighting was low which was great to see the computer screen. Music was on the perfect background volume. The Caesar was really tasty! But it did have croutons as wells as grape tomatoes and olives. I would get it again. The burger was prepared a specified. It came on a pretzel bun. I asked the server which was better- the homemade fries or the homemade potato chips. He said both were good but he gets the fries. So that's what I got. The homemade fries were very, very good. Too good! The key lime pie was tart, the way I like it. The presentation was very fancy too. My waiter said the cheesecakes were the best sellers. Maybe next time! It took awhile to hunt someone down to pay my bill. This is a great option if dining alone and you want to work.

The menu was prime rib (with gravy and horseradish sauce), sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, apple bread stuffing, carrots, rolls, dutch apple pie and more. We were able to order a few a la carte items to go along with it (hard apple cider, extra sides etc). It was plenty of food and our family loved everything. They included easy instructions for reheating in the oven so on Christmas our house still smelled like all the delicious food (without all the work!). Everyone was so nice and they even gave us a $10 gift certificate to come back and try their restaurant (which we plan on doing!). Get to it!

The establishment is very clean and has a gift shop with all sorts of tasty offerings. The apple pie is simply wonderful, a scoop of ice cream is an excellent ad and once you have this dessert you will certainly be back. The restaurant menu has a nice variety of selections, the Ruben is great, the French Dip is awesome but unfortunately the 1/2 burger was pretty sad, dry, probably microwaved and the thousand island dressing pretty much nonexistent. However, the fries are exceptional! You order at the counter and the food came out very quickly by some very friendly staff.
