The problem was a bit of a mystery, after Ray had tried all the basic stuff (fuel pump, relays, etc) and took a lot of work to resolve. Ray showed up very quickly, brought parts, tried some stuff, bought a few more parts, tried a few more things and... after some more parts-buying and stuff-trying (keeping us in the loop the entire time about why he was doing this or that thing and giving us the option to not keep going) he was able to fix the problem, explain what he fixed in simple terms, and give us "things to look out for" as my partner drove home. He made it home with no issues! Ray's prices were super reasonable considering he was doing the work on a Sunday afternoon in the road in front of my house. He was tenacious about getting to the bottom of things and his knowledge of cars is encyclopedic. Really good communicator, friendly guy, I would absolutely use him again for anything from routine work to something more complex.

She's conscientious and does her best to fit into an at times slim budget. Yes, she is a "woman" (whatever that's supposed to mean), but women are perfectly capable of repairing cars and are often more detail oriented. I assume she refused to put in a part that she did not supply because she can't guarantee the quality and her warranty would be at risk. Listen to someone who knows the company, not a one-time user who's got an ax to grind.

Apparently having two vehicles that need a considerable amount of work wasn't worth taking because my $40 ball joint from fisher auto wasn't good enough for them. Oh and then they refused to work on any of my vehicles after I tried again to understand why they couldn't do this. Horrible customer service from a 40-60yo "woman". Nothing like KC's!!!

My only complaint is they tale quite some time when actually working on your vehicle, so if you are in a rush I'd be prepared to wait. Nick is a superb manager who clearly treats his staff with respect and care, and that culture shows in every interaction with customers. Her attention to detail and clear communication made me feel genuinely cared for, not rushed or upsold. Aiden did an amazing job--fast, efficient, and thorough--and went the extra mile by offering helpful advice on maintaining my windshield wiper blades. That kind of guidance may seem small, but it speaks volumes about the pride and care he brings to his work. I've already told family and friends, and I truly wouldn't trust my car with anyone else.
