This has been my go to grocery store since I started working late nights in Gonzalez. It's the…read moreperfect place to stop on my way home. It's well organized and designed like you'd expect a medium sized grocery store to be. Set up in a way where you almost have to go right upon entry. It's always clean, shelves are well stocked and everything is where it's supposed to be. Ralph's Market feels like a neighborhood grocery store. The cashiers and stockers are very friendly and personal. Maybe I go there too much but I find myself having personal conversations with some of them about their personal lives and other things going on in their world AND I'm not even from the area. Sure go here if you're in the area. I'd almost always prefer to support a store like this which is independently owned instead of one of the larger chain grocery stores where you don't get the personal touch. The deli also serves lunch and breakfast with several options on each. I've had the breakfast with no complaints and even a slice of pizza one day. Also, two of the ladies I work with go there to get salads on a regular basis for lunch. But there's also more hardier options available.

Y'all. Lamendola's Supermarket is the best kept secret for catering in and around Ascension parish…read more This is my second time ordering my Thanksgiving spread from them and I 100% have ZERO regrets. It would've costed me a small fortune to purchase all the ingredients and make everything myself. For less than that, I was able to get a fried turkey, cornbread dressing, rice dressing, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and cheese rice, sweet potato casserole, green beans, gravy, dinner rolls and a pecan pie. I ordered some peach cobbler too just for a little extra razzle dazzle. The food was delicious and the leftovers are even tastier! Huge caveat--THEY DELIVERED it to my doorstep on Thanksgiving day! The lady who delivered actually brought everything in my house and set it on my counter for me. Top notch service! If you're wanting to try things before you go out and purchase the full spread like I do, their lunch deli runs their holiday menu during the week. Stop in and grab you a plate to try it out! You won't go wrong!

I ended up getting the baked fish which came with corn, crawfish etouffee and I got the bread pudding for dessert( I paid less than $10 for this). The fish was moist a little salty but bearable. The crawfish etouffee over rice was really good and so was the corn. But the definite star of this particular meal was the bread pudding. I can honestly say the only place I've had better bread pudding was at Lil Dizzy's Cafe in New Orleans. I wish I would have gotten the name of the young lady that served me because she was awesome. Not sure when I'll work in the Gonzales area again. But I'll make it a point to come over here again when I do.

Within seconds after I entered, an unmasked woman standing in the check out line coughed without covering her mouth as I walked by. Long check out lines with unmasked individuals and no social distancing--packed together like sardines. This business is careless about protecting its customers. They are ignoring mandated safety measures. Shopping carts are not sanitized. Many customers are not wearing masks. Neither mask wearing or social distancing is being monitored or enforced. Citizens deserve more from an essential service like a grocery store. I feel sorry for residents of Geismar that have few options for grocery services. I care about my health and the health of my community. I will not be returning to this super market. It's not super.

Whoever does inventory for the store is doing pretty good because you can pretty much walk in and get what you need and get out. Just how I like it. The meat selection is always stocked as well as the fruits and veggies. Usually they have a few more registers open than most Walmart's and you can get in and out but they do still have those moments where there's four registers open and you have a wait. That's usually around night time but you also have to remember this is the only Walmart in Gonzales unlike Baton Rouge. The store is always clean as well. So far so good.

What a nightmare!! Order your tires from anywhere else. This should be theft…read more Ordered four new tires and the installation. Not getting anything I ordered yet they have my money. So, you order from Walmart Online not from the store...makes sense! Three tires came in yesterday, yea not four, like it has showed in my app all week. The associate at the Walmart Auto Care Center that was supposed to receive the tires and perform the installation, informed me that he went to check the tires in yesterday, and his system showed that the order was cancelled! Now, this was yesterday. They showed me on their system at the store that's it was cancelled by me. The kicker is it shows me cancelling this morning at 1:03 AM not yesterday. So, how was it cancelled yesterday. Furthermore, I wasn't even up at 1:03 AM. Walmart Online and my app is showing 3 tires ready for pickup today but in the process line it shows only shipped. Although I saw with my own eyes that all three tires are at the store. Now, the last tire that was supposed to be in on Monday after 12 AM shows ready for pickup-up now! Yet, the store only has three. So, since the order was cancelled by someone (not me) the store has to return the three tires to the sender..oh which isn't Walmart but an independent company because it's protocol. I spoke to two different individuals at Walmart Online that had two different stories. One person told me the three tires were on a FedEx truck being delivered to the store today, and the other person told me the store had one tire and the other three being delivered Monday. This is all taking place on a Friday. The one thing they both had in common was that the order wasn't cancelled only the installation. Again, I saw where this was false inside the store on the associates computer. I asked the associates in the store to call someone with Walmart Online and work this out. They both said that it was nothing they could do but follow protocol and send back to the seller! One of them actually told me to repurchase the tires when I already have over $650 deducted from my bank account. Yes, I don't own credit cards so I used a debit. Probably a bad idea but I kind of trusted Walmart to do what's right and if something wasn't correct to make it right within a reasonable amount of time. Well, they don't. So, now there will be a refund that will take up to 10 business days. Yes, no tires , no installation and I'll have to wait up to 10 business days for a refund. It's not worth the chance to do business with them and have the results that I have right now. I'm not a rich person, matter of fact my son was diagnosed with cancer last October and we have spent all of our savings, retirement, sold personal items, so to be out over $650 and go someone else and spend hundreds of dollars isn't an option for me. My other son hasn't been able to drive his truck for weeks because I was saving up to purchase these tires. Oh, but just buy them again he said. Really? I am beyond words and can't believe Walmart conducts business this way. We get medicine from Walmart, buy groceries from Walmart, have always shopped at Walmart but I will be a distant customer moving forward. I'm sure they don't care, in fact I know they don't care, and what a shame. Shame on you Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Onlibe. They told me I cancelled the order. Please see attachment.

I paid for a half sheet cake which the decoration requested was the size to fit on a 1/2 sheet cake. When picking up the cake, there were smirks looks when I gave them my name. Very unprofessIonal of this cake manager to treat a person who is a paying customer. I also had to add my own touch to it when I got home, of something I requested she add to the cake. If she did not want to make a cake and decorate it based on what I was asking, then simply let me know, then I would have went elsewhere. Now the result is this review. I would say if you need a cake decorated and she is taking your order and you get any doubt, don't let her do it! You won't be happy with your cake! NO ITS NOT FINE!
