Pins were being setup incorrectly throughout our game, some pins weren't even being counted... no bowling animations on the screens for your strikes and spares, and no pin diagram to show what pins you have left.... The only good service we had was the guy giving an extra 20 minutes to finish our game. Otherwise, the concession counter is a joke. We stop here everytime we go to the mall or target and I can only speak for the games since we've never eaten or bowled here. The games, crazy expensive, I do think they should be a bit lower especially for the prizes offered. Or at least let them win more tickets on each game for a better prize at the end. I have no complaints about workers. They've been very helpful anytime we needed them for something. It's a great place when everything actually works. The kiosks always seem to be broken when I am there and the staff seem bothered to have to do their jobs when you ask to add points to a card. No fail, there are always 2-3 machine that are broken but have mo sign on them. The staff again seemed bothered to have to refund you for the lost credits as they have to have a manager do it. One time, the manager admitted the machine has been an issue and when I asked if they should put a sign up, the manager declined. It seems like they are just leaving games broken and hoping people just lose money. It's a great and fun outing if you had working games and friendlier staff. read more

Woah, the first impression is the huge size and space of Round 1. Walking around, there are a lot of games to choose from, which don't include just arcades, but also bowling, pool tables, ping pong, darts, and even three Karaoke Rooms. They also provide food and drinks as well, with a large variety. There are plenty of tables to accommodate all of that. Birthday parties and events are common, where booking a party could be done on their website and even by calling Round 1, with the location of your desire. The site gives a lot more details about pricing and even packages. Something that caught my eye is how understaffed it is, and also boxes lying around toward an empty area -- at least block it off or something. Absolutely love this Round1 location! It's a bit of a drive from NYC, but definitely worth it for their extensive stock of claw game prizes, especially popular ones like LINE friends plushies, Miku figurines, Demon Slayer figurines, Jujutsu Kaisen figurines, Rem figurine, etc. These tend to sell out quickly in Long Island's Round1. The staff in charge of inventory here has excellent taste in selecting prizes for the claw games (I spoke with one of the male staff in charge of the closing shift tonight and I was informed that they'll be putting out more Miku figurines & LINE friends plushies later this month!) Being a newer location, they have all the latest VR and arcade games. The staff members are super friendly and incredibly helpful, especially if you're struggling with the claw games. I recommend calling ahead if you have a specific prize or toy in mind; the amusement department staff are very knowledgeable about the toys on display and in the claw machines. If you're already heading to Woodbury Outlets from NYC, I highly recommend stopping by this location, as they close late at 2 AM! read more

Absolutely the WORST customer service. POOR staff and HORRENDOUS management! If I could give them a 0 I would. By far the worst customer service I have ever encouraged. The bowling lane kept getting the balls stuck and the bowling manager told us to just keep bowling. After four times of continuing to "just keep bowling" all four balls were spinning behind the pins. At this point we had already pressed the service button and had someone come out to us four times in regard to the bowling lane. AT NO POINT did they say, let's move you to another lane. After we finished our first game I went to the desk and told the man what was going on and asked if we could move to the lane over. He responded with sarcasm and attitude, as if I was rude to him. Which I was not! I learned later that he was the bowling manager! Wow. After switching to another lane where the balls didn't continuously get stuck, our game got cut short. My boyfriend went to see what was going on and the bowling manager said that we paid for two games and we're playing three. My boyfriend said we've only played one, this is our second, and the manager said "you're a liar" ... things got pretty escalated from there. Involving security and the manager of the whole Round1. The bowling manager was trying to say that because we reset the score, only two people out of four had bowled, that counted as a game ... the only reason we reset the game was because the lane was NOT WORKING. BUT AFTER EVERYTHING the manager did come over after NOT TO APOLOGIZE but to hand us a free game of bowling ticket... as if that made us for this experience. I love arcades, I love claw machines, and I want to love Round1s. This is the fourth different Round1 I have been too, it's not the worst of the bunch, nor is it the best. There are a few things that you need to know about Round1 before you go there. It is a Japanese style arcade. They have a lot of claw machines set up in ways where you have to win to get the prize. The prizes tend to be better than you get in a normal arcade claw machine. They also have a massive arcade section, bowling, karaoke, and pool. The down side to all this is it's very expensive. This is not the type of arcade you can spend $25 and have a good time. My biggest problems with this location in no specific order were, the staffing was low and it was hard to find anyone to help, and since you need staff to get your prizes out of the machines this sucks. Way too many of the Arcade games were broken and non functional, I lost count how many I saw. The prizes in some of the games were cheaper and more generic than I am use to seeing in other Round1s. Overall I had fun and will be back if I am in the area, but I left disappointed that the experience could have been a lot better. read more

I love arcades this has to be my opening statement. Now you include in that Japanese cabinets then my friend you are in for quite a treat. Imagine if you will Dave & Busters minus screaming children, strange odors and machines that have "stuff" all over them. I have to say the vibe is totally different here as it's based off a concept that is Japanese in origin. Walking in you see the pool table area a bunch of sports arcade cabinets, Karaoke rooms, the table tennis area, bowling the bar/food/points counter. Then as you walk in further you see more ticket games, racing, music, rows of crane games, and ski ball. As I began it is a Japanese concept so to my joy most of the games were actually in Japanese so I could only guess what they were telling me. But with games as modern as Tekken 7, rare gems like Capcom vs Tetsunoko (Sp), a castlevania Light gun game where you use a whip it is a mini gamer nirvana for me. I walked in about 8pm closed the place down at 2am didn't even feel the time pass. They sell 1.99 draft beers, basic pricey bar food and there is a diverse amount of things to do. Do note to get the black card to start you on your way to earn a stamp for every $10 you spend gets you $1 off and goes up with each use. You have to show it to the cashier first or else they won't give you your discount. All in all I bowled, played many games and didn't have a single cringy moment with a child shoving in front of me to get to a machine. Hands down recommend you check it out. read more

This place could be amazing, but it falls short. The bowling alley is really the driving force of the 3 stars - despite being pricy, it's a nice time. The lanes are in good shape, there's plenty of balls and space to sit and move around. The arcade is, to put it plainly, mostly a dump. The credits are expensive when considering how many you need to play each game, and so many games are broken! It's not just a few, it's like 50% of them. Some of them appear to be working but then steal your credits when you try to play and won't start, which then necessitates having to go wait in line to be refunded the credits. Annoying. Considering the money this place will drain you for in comparison to the paid help (ie most of the employees here are concession workers...it's not like you're paying for staff to run the games or even the bowling for you) there's no way this company can't afford to do a better job keeping the games functional. It's an amusement place, its what would you expect. Therslots to do arcade bowling lanes pool tables karaoke pingpong and air hockey. After having dinner at nearby place we decide to go here and play pool rental and shoot the breeze until closing time. Got there around 10:30. Place also had bar so me and friends had soda and beers. Not sure why they told us to finish our game 2 hours into playing. We would have wanted to play til they closed at 2am. It was 12:30. The place is ok, targets a whole big demographic kids families growups. The staff could have been clearer on the policies and hours though. Staff seemed just tired and exhausted. Management? What management? All I see are kids who don't care. Wow everything I need to have fun with family and friends all in one place. Great arcade games, pool, karaoke, bowling. Great layout and great design of the facility. Parking is simple and easy park by target or JCPenney and you are super close. Now for the bad part. The people that run it are kids who just don't care. They are more interested in their cell phones or talking to their coworkers. Go ahead and stand in line and sign up for bowling. Then they tell you an hour wait. 20 minutes later they call you to tell you a lane is opened up but now you have to go to that same line and wait another half hour or more to get your lane. There are three people at the register area but only one of them can do any work at a time. Makes no sense. If I had to do a high level review of how much money this place loses to this stupidity I would suggest about 35% of lane time is wasted due to stupid registration process. I'd say that the managers should be able to see it but not these guys totally self absorbed in other things than running the business. Such a shame this place has it all. Karaoke lost of the room not functioning and our room only had a single mic as the other one was broken and they knew it. They were also very rude. Bowling registration process is also more rude clueless people. I needed a size 15 they said sorry we only go up to 12 and I said I called and you in fact go to size 16 please at least look. Sir I've been here for over a year and the largest shoe I have seen is a 12. Can you please just check .. in a huff fine I'll check.. we'll I got my size 15 bowling shoes and bowled three games. We he food court, not well cleaned, too crowded and on top of each other. Online ordering of food system was broken. There was no one even in the food ordering area for almost an hour then the person shows up after about an hour. Hey this is the person who has been chatting for the past hour with the pretty girls in the bowling registration. I really want this place to succeed but people have to care about the service and this place just does not. I challenge the manager of this facility to respond to my review and the others on Yelp. All I can say in closing is.. what a shame this place is exactly what this area needs for families and I would happily spend my money here at least once a week if they got their sh*t together. read more

For years I have used Round 1 for a birthday celebration and it was perfectly fine. However, this year was completely terrible! As soon as I entered Round 1 for my daughter's birthday party, they did not have the room set up and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a room. My daughter had to step up and host the birthday party simply for the fact of the party host calling out and putting the managers to work since there was no set replacement. Nobody came to check in on us and see how the party was going. They overcharged me as well. I am disappointed in how they handled my daughter's birthday party. I came here with my kids and had to wait for an hour for karaoke which was fine because we did some arcade games. All the games were all rigged and everything cost so many tickets. 20 tickets for a piece of candy is outrageous. After that, we went to the karaoke room and the TV and microphones barely worked. I was there with my granddaughter and 3 of her friends they wanted to play 1 game of bowling when asked how much it would be they told me $ 80 and said they raise the price on weekends . I think going here is either hit or miss. The last time I went, which was actually Saturday night, we had a blast. We felt it was pretty inexpensive to play games and drink beer and surprisingly it wasn't overly crowded as it is sometimes. They have two dollar draft beers(bud light, shock top, and Heineken), two dollar red and white wines, four dollars for most of the other beers, and sake. We feel this is a huge selection at a great price. The food prices are reasonable also. I've been here on other occasions when it is completely packed and is just a madhouse & I've had experiences with rude employees. This past time it was different though & I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the rude employees have gotten fired and that the management has changed their standards??. So right now it is four stars based on my last experience. If I go again and have another negative experience, I will definitely update this review to a more appropriate rating. There was no one to greet you or walk guest to where the party was it's all left up to you to do. This place has a bad rap sometimes but they're doing their best. I honestly think there's something for everyone here. Today I witnessed a lady complain to the food worker for 5 minutes and he just took it. The staff are patient at the counters but seem to be non-existent on the floor if you need someone to fix a game or move a crane game plushie. There's bowling, karaoke, games, food, etc. It's better than any other arcade around. Hands down. There's parking by Target that's right next to the establishment so good to remember if you have kids. I don't think I'd come here just to bowl. Some people have left reviews regarding that but if you want to have a bowling party, you're better off have it at a bowling alley. This seems like a "bowl a couple games then do something else" type of set up as there aren't many lanes. I go to the Round One in Tukwila all the time but when I come back to NY to visit family, I make a trip out to the Crystal Run one. We came here on a snowy day for the first time. It is in the Galleria Mall next to Target. The kids loved it and the prize room was the highlight. The place is pretty big. They have several Karaoke rooms ,bowling , ping pong, pool and many other games. I got 3- $25 cards for $81. There is a fee for each card. The money went super fast but, we had fun while it lasted. This is a nasty unprofessional place. The Manager, Staff and security guard are very nasty. My daughter and her school friends were there for her birthday party. I paid for 3 hrs which included karoke. They did not provide service to us and when I complained to the Manager she was nasty , she turned off the karoke machine on the kids and told security to tell us party is over . Left with none working game cards, Staff told me the only way I could use the $22 credit I just paid for 10 minutes earlier was to pay $6 more for a new card since the card he put it on didn't work. When I first got the cards I had told him to put it on a new card instead gave the kids 1 new card a one old but charged us for 2 new cards. I was not impressed with this place but I think it serves a need in the area. The games are also overpriced with limited food selection. My one big, big 'need for improvement' is the restroom. There are no toilet seat covers and several of the stalls (at least three) that I entered on a Monday at 1:30 pm, were out of toilet paper. The biggest disappointment (truth be told it made my sad and angry) was that the standard tampon/sanitary napkin quarter machine was no where to be found in the ladies' room. I never use those machines, but was in need this day. I had to ask a male employee (at the bar area, ugh!) to get a female employee to clarify if there was a feminine products dispenser in the family bathroom (not there either). In the end, I had to leave Round1, go to Target and then come back. That's just ridiculous and the owners should be ASHAMED! Do better. read more

What an awesome spot! I was in Japan a couple of weeks ago, and they have entire buildings designed exactly like this. Convenient, spacious, reasonably priced, tons of different options and the hours are perfect for hanging out after the movies or dinner. The food is inexpensive and tastes much better than I expected. They're going through some "grand opening" growing pains, but I enjoyed myself enough that the little problems didn't turn me off. I am going to start this off by saying that if you happen to choose a busy day to visit, good luck because this business is run very poorly. If you come midweek during the day, you probably won't have problems. I went on a Friday at 8. I knew it would be busy. Waiting isn't a big issue since there was a big arcade, right? Wrong. A large, LARGE amount of the arcade machines were broken or out of service. Not sure how so many machines can be so broken, so early into the life of this business. The other half of the games are in Japanese with no hint of English, so you just have to wing it and hope you know how to play whatever it is you are swiping. I would complain about how the unlimited game cards only work on like 5 machines, but that's probably just me not reading things properly. Now onto the real issues of my visit. 7/18 lanes were not working or shut down. I was told 1-1.5 hour wait. 45 minutes later I get a text saying my lane is open. So I went to the counter, and my lane was given to someone else under the excuse, "there was a problem with the lane they wanted to give me. So I had to wait a little more. Okay that's fine, because I was told an hour and a half anyway. 20 minutes later I get another text saying my lane was open, and they gave it to me. Except they gave me a lane that was halfway through a game with a party of 10+ people who were kicked off their game, and we had to now settle that problem. After this all, it took us about 2 hours to actually be able to have a game of bowling. It just seems to be very lacking in staff. For the amount of business this is going to attract, you need enough employees to ensure your business can handle the volume, which this place clearly doesn't. read more
