When I arrived, she gave me a card for a free large pizza after 5 stamps. In the kitchen, there are some younger boys working the pizza ovens. They noticed that our order was made and quickly brought it to us. We typically prefer thin pizza, but this one was quite thick. It's a typical Pittsburgh style pizza. They aren't too heavy on the toppings. Fair amount of cheese and the sauce tastes good, not too sweet or acidic. Also, a large is quite big and not overly expensive. It's pretty typically, but we were disappointed by the thickness of this crust. My calzone, though, was very good. Dough is pretty plain and there's quite a bit of it. I would have appreciated a dipping sauce to go with it (most places give marinara for free). But, they stuff this calzone with cheese. Loads of ricotta especially. And, the portion is pretty amazing for $12.50. All in all, this isn't the spot to get thin and crispy pizza. It's just decent. But, their calzones are really good in my opinion.
