We live in Buena Park and the only RoundTable that offers "skinny crust" closed down a few years ago:-( We drove to this location ( lived in Lakewood for years) because all the Round Table's in Buena Park do not offer "skinny crust" . I was standing right next to my husband when he ordered " and he said SKINNY CRUST KING ARTHURS SUPREME" and I'll be damned when we got home if it wasn't ORIGINAL CRUSTSO PISSED!!! We didn't eat right away and it was sealed! About 30 minutes later while doing banking I look at the receipt and it says ORIGINAL CRUST, open box and YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT WE SAID!!!!!!!! It was my first time having pizza from here in years, i was pleasantly surprised that it was still pretty good but its a lot more expensive than I remember but what isn't anymore in California. Service was good and accurate on my order. The interior is obviously different from the past but relatively clean. Went with the King Arthur supreme and a side garden salad. The beer is cold, the pizza was good and the prices fair. Have gone on Fridays for years. Always sit in the back room and watch sports. But they have changed, dropped all channels but standard 2,4, 7, etc. And no longer allow any volume or even closed captions. Anytime anyone has asked in the last several times, the answer is the same. Only the Mgr is allowed to use the remote and he is not there. The restaurant is filthy. There is dust everywhere, even on top of the booths directly across from the ordering counter. The bathroom had thick dust on it too. Our pizza was almost $40. After seeing how dirty the place was I hardly wanted to eat there. I can't imagine how dirty the non-public spaces are. Though I have no complaints with the food the last 3 times I have ordered from here my food was not ready on time. 1st time I ordered delivery 4hrs early and pizza was delivered an hour late. 2nd time I had to wait an additional 45min after it was supposed to be ready before it was ready. **UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP** I come to this location at least twice a month. I just came not even 10 days ago and the Mon-Tues weekly special has increased by $3. The service has absolutely changed and to be honest I can't even tell you if the pizza has stayed consistent because although the staff/ cooks are the same they may have changed the quality. I live closer to Bellflower location but I don't go there because after going to that location I noticed they dont use Round Table cheese but a cheaper mozzarella. I truly hope they dont change the cheese. It was veterans day and extremely busy and understaffed for the amount of customers unfortunately my order that normally would've taken 20 minutes when I arrived 20 minutes after ordering I was told it would be another 30 minutes. Food and staff is great. Kids had fun and place is clean. Only issue is on this Saturday, July 29th, 2023, there's only 2 people working, one cook and one person taking order. And when there's no one, the person taking orders goes in back help out. Cook comes out to man ticket prize station too, but I just feel bad for the many guest that's been waiting over an hour for their food. We waited about 40 mins and we got lucky because there's a few softball teams here. There are about 40-60 guest in here with 2 people working. Sitting here watching irate customers waiting for food or food delivery people sitting for many minutes, I feel like there's a disconnect between management and guest. I get employees call out and that maybe the case. I just hope this isn't bad planning. This review is more of a heads up to management that's reading these reviews to hopefully staff the restaurant appropriately on a Saturday noon traffic.
