The food is great, but the back room was filthy and the young man at the counter wearing dark, dark sunglasses at night, was beyond unfriendly. Thete were 3 of us, all senior citizens in our 70's. I asked him if they had wine and he replied that only if I had an ID. I laughed because of my age and he simply said, "show me it" very rudely. I ask what kind they hadand if they had Pinot Gegio, he didn't know what it was or what they had. I finally said give me a white wine, any kind. Once upon a time, Round Table's salad bar was our "go to" place for lunch. This place is not the same now that Columbia Industries owns it. The staff is unprofessional and doesn't give a shit. Today, the salad bar was mildly messy. I can overlook that. It happens. But when my husband mentioned that the breadsticks were stone cold he was informed that "they'd only been out for ten minutes." I asked him if that meant "too bad--eat them" or if they'd be bringing out more. He was pretty sure it was the later....but they never bothered to replenish. Had a King Arthur"s Supreme & a Chicken Alfred. The Alfredo was good except didn't like the spinach. The pizza had good flavor and the meats had good spice. The crust was headed in the right direction, but could have been a bit crisper. Also they have a salad bar. The salad bin was empty, but when notified they stocked it up in a timely manner. We usually love round table pizza but tonight was a complete shock. We ordered a pizza for delivery with an original wait time of 35 minutes. An hour pass we call and get rude service and we're told it was the next out and would be there soon!! Another hour passed and we called again to just cancel the order and we're met with rude and unprofessional service. I would definitely no longer recommend round table pizza! I can't believe they were not even understanding when we wanted to cancel our order if they would not be bringing it for close to three hours! It's just ridiculous!! I like Round Table Pizza in most locations I have been to, so this is more about the customer service. Overall, the folks here do a pretty good job. Friendly, efficient, getting order right, place clean, etc. I deduct one star from all Round Tables because I think they cost too much. Also their red sauce is too spicy I think. The other star I deduct because they seem to have a hard time keeping the salad bar monitored if it needs to be restocked. If you are going to have a salad bar, make sure someone is keeping an eye on it if it needs something. Since their salad bar is right nex to the register, I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do. Overall, I like going to lunch at this location though, because Round Table makes a good pie, especially since they are a chain. Even if it costs too much. read more

I would award Round Table Pizza in general - or rather, "in theory" - with a robust 5-Star review; for amongst the innumerable inauthentic pizza chains litter the American dietary landscape, there are next to none that that reheat back to their former night's prime state of molten perfection as well as Round Table Pizza. Maybe it's the ancient recipe carved into the actual round table of Camelot that does the trick, or a modern marvel of cookery magic that came to be in some dude's half-baked oven by accident - regardless, it's still incredible on day 4 resurrected in a toaster oven; that is, if you have the iron will to not eat it all by then... When it gets done, it's done right, even for the high price. Sadly, this Round Table misses the mark. The hours are incorrect, they are grumpy if you call within an hour of closing, and already close at 9pm. If you don't want to make pizza during the last hour, then change the hours. If you're open I assume I can buy pizza. And don't be mad at me for asking to buy some. It's the only reason you exist - me eating your pizza. I shouldn't be insulted cause I wanna buy a pie 45-minutes before closing - especially when I'm willing to pick it up. This store misses the mark, and this is a recurring problem over the course of several years. I've finally been craving Maui Zaui enough to write a review after being turned away before closing time. Good pizza, has that special taste that only certain pizza recipes have, but they're inconsistent in quality and much too expensive. I've gotten burnt pizzas, soggy pizzas, pizzas with practically 150% sauce and nothing else, and pizzas that are dripping with grease. I've also had the perfect ratio'd, delicious, can't-get-it-anywhere-else-pizzas here, that make me give them 4 stars instead of a 2. As a company, they don't seem that eager to draw in customers. I never see a single sale, coupon or deal that's less than 25 bucks, and their employees seem young and like there's a high turnover rate. (Which might explain the lack of consistency in pizzas) The few good pizzas I've gotten leave me giving them a 4 instead of a 2, but I seldom give them my business anymore. Okay so my boyfriend had a really bad experience with a Round Table pizza before, food wise. However, I'd never had their food. So since this is in a different city, we decided to opt to give it a shot. That was a mistake. We placed an order for delivery around 9:42pm. Was told it'd be an hour or so. That was fine. However, it then came around to 11:10pm and still no one had arrived. He called them even though it was past closing time to see if anyone would pick up and to see what had happened. Someone did and said that the driver said there was no one home and had returned to the store. We were home the entire time. Now granted our complex can be really confusing to locate the correct building. But with ANY delivery place, if there's no one answering or there's issues with locating the place, you've provided them with a phone number to call in case help is needed. Which we had. We never were called, not one time. Now I'm sitting here at 11:36pm writing this with still no food, no call, nothing. Keep in mind we live about 5 minutes from the store. While I'm sure a call to the store tomorrow will get us a prompt refund - the issue still remains that the service was just not up to par. Your delivery service and the ability to call for directions or if someone is supposedly not answering should be a given. With everything closed except for Shari's, we'll have to find food elsewhere. This was not a pleasant experience at all. And I'm not sure I'll be willing to give it a try again. read more

I really enjoy Round Table! They have a great lunch special: personal pizza and salad bar for like $7.99. Pizza is unique (as far as chains go) and fresh. Service was fast and friendly and the place was clean as a whistle. There is a lot of seating in here. Great place for birthday parties (there's a banquet room). Went to the Round table for a lunch with family after a funeral service. We were expecting to have wonderful pizza and wings. Instead we got soggy and sopping in grease pizza. It didn't have any taste to it and it was stomach turning. I'm writing this an hour after eating half a piece of pizza and my stomach is still hurting. Hoping to not get sick tonight. Oh and too add on to the the awful food all of the tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. You could not touch the table without your hand literally getting stuck to it. We asked them to wipe down our tables. Mind you we have a group of 20+ people and had about 6 tables pushed together. When our tables were wiped down they only wiped down one table very quickly and never came back with to clean the other tables. After she wiped down our table it was still sticky. Very dissatisfied. The product line is good- probably some of the best pizza in town. Ah, but why the lousy rating? I was in the restaurant the other day and watched in horror as the general manager dressed down an off-duty employee attempting to have a quick meal before he clocked on. His crime? when he went to pay for his food (a pick-up order), the price was higher than he was used to paying, so he politely asked the young lady behind the till (apparently a manager in training, based on what happened next) why the price was different than what he usually paid for the same thing. She explained it to him (something about his employee discount applying to only one of the items he ordered), he handed his debit card to her, and paid for his meal. He mentioned he would keep it in mind for future orders and not order the garlic parmesan twists in addition to his personal pizza. He was handed his personal pizza and garlic parmesan twists and he went over to the bar to sit down and eat his meal. The GM then laid into him- in front of all us customers- because he dared to do that. She told him he was to never question a manager for any reason whatsoever, and that "when one of my managers tells you 'that's the price', you pay it without question. Understand?" It appears that, as an employee, he is not allowed to ask a question than any normal customer would ask when the price he or she was expecting to pay was far less than what the actual bill came to. As a customer in her store, he is not allowed to be a consumer- his money doesn't get the same respect as a normal customer's money. My question is: since the employee was a customer, why in the world would you treat him like that? Furthermore, that employee was on his own time- you should be paying for it if you're going to talk with him about work-related things. Furthermore, you should be discussing with him in PRIVATE- this is easily one of the most disrespectful things I've seen an employer do to an employee in my life. If this is how they treat the people who handle the food, is it really worth eating? For me, I know that, no matter how much I like their pizza, I'll never eat there again. You probably shouldn't, either- with their treatment of their employees (who handle the food) being what it is, can you really trust the food? read more

This is hands down the best pizza in town! The king arthur supreme is just as it sounds. Supreme pizza fit for a king. Only order to go so can't comment on service or atmosphere. Round Table is our guilty pleasure when we dont feel like driving anywhere. These guys always do us right and we have been loyal for a few years now. We have only actually dined in once so it is hard to compare the places effectively but they still deseve some cudos. Delivery is always ahead of schedule and usually the pizzas and breadsticks are spot on. The only time we dined in the place was not very busy and was clean. We placed our order straight away at the counter and the kids took off for the game room. At least it kept them occupied :). The bathrooms where tidy and the table in the back was clean. They had a lot of room in back. I think they may host partys or gatherings there. The place was just as you would expect for a pizza joint. The waitstaff behind the counter was cordial and helpful enough. We have always gotten our pizza quickly and still piping hot, so their delivery group is quick and effective. They are a tad spendy for the amount of food you get comparatively. However, they pack toppings on quite a bit better than most chains I have eaten at. The parmesan twists are generally very good. My wife cant get enough of them. They are doughy with a nice flavor of garlic and parmesan and go great with the sides of dip. I love the spicier flavor of thier marinara so I take those while the wife comfiscates the ranch. The pizza is my favorite chain. The crust is more of a medium thickness and when done right compliments the amount of toppings perfectly. The sauce is what does it for me. One of the best flavors around. Generally the toppings are portioned out very well. All things considered, I really think this shop is better than a lot of the local pizza places and we will continue to get our deliverys from here in the future. I am not sure if the other Round Tables are as good as this one because we havent had the opportunity to try the another one yet. In the future we may try to hit another one up but for now this one has my vote as one of my favorites (especially for delivery). read more

Excellent food, but it is a little spendy. They definitely have the best garlic twists, though. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend giving them a try. Very rude young man and lady behind the counter. I bought my six year old daughter an all you can eat salad bar and myself a small pizza. I helped her get the first plate and she went back for seconds. The man told her the salad bar wasn't free and that she couldn't have it!!! She was so scared she was hiding under the table. He proceeded to argue with me that I didn't buy the salad bar for her. Then, the lady told my son he couldn't roll a bouncy ball across the table to his friend because it would bounce onto the floor. I am the Round Table King. I've love RTP since the early 80s. I am at a minimum of 500+ lifetime personal pizza orders, not including work orders. I lived on the stuff through college.
