We haven't been to this location of Round Table Pizza. We used to go for the buffet style that was served at an RTP nearer to the ocean on Beach/Adams. Unfortunately we were too late for the AYCE lunch that closed at 1:30pm. Christopher let us know about the Happy Hour specials. I'm ok with that and order wings and a personal sized pizza with Sausage on lots of cheese I'll do a Kona with that. The lovely missus did a Modelo which really surprised me, but what she ordered for a pizza stumned me. It was not the Happy Hour sized..... she ordered a Medium sized topped with three veggies; onions, mushrooms and green bellpepper. Happy wasn't exactly how I felt when my credit card had to be swiped twice. A whopping $28.69 for a Medium. We sat at a high step up booth and we sipped our beers. The pint of Modelo was bubbly... but the Kona was a bit flat for me. Here it comes... my "boneless" wings were chicken nuggets in Lemon Pepper coating with blue cheese dip... underwhelmed. My sausage pizza actually had a good ratio of sausage morsels on top of Mozzarella with a spicy sun dried tomatoes of a red sauce spread on a good chewy crust. The missus enjoyed her trio veggies pizza that had a fresh onion and bell pepper aroma. We enjoyed this Round Table Pizza location for its modern clean and ample seating areas with overhead TV monitors. We watched highlights of a Dodgers game. Time to ask for a box to take left overs home. The time was well spent and it was a bit more that hit my wallet, but it was an OK lunch of pizza with the lovely missus. Love round table pizza! Tried this location for the first time and pizza was delicious as always. When we were there it happened to be the same time as a big kid's birthday party so it was extra crowded. Even so, the staff was nice, helpful and we got our pizza in a timely manner. They had a special heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day- super cute! We got the long author - basically a combination/ala with everything on top. They also have a salad bar if you wanted a salad as well. Parking was not a problem either. All in all great place to come and grab pizza to go or sit and eat. read more

Five stars all the way. I had one of those delivery disasters today that could have ruined the meal, but the team at Round Table completely saved it. I placed an order through Grubhub and the driver marked it as delivered even though he never picked it up. I didn't even realize it until Round Table actually called me to check in. They told me my pizza was still sitting there and that their system showed it as "delivered." Instead of brushing it off, they went above and beyond. They made me a fresh pizza, gave me the original one as well, told me exactly how to get my refund from Grubhub, and then even paid for a DoorDash delivery driver out of their own pocket so I would still get my order hot and fast. Who does that anymore? This kind of service is rare. They didn't have to do any of it, but they stepped up in a big way and made the whole situation easy. Have been going here since they were located inside Pavilions. Pizza is great but overpriced. But service is horrible. When you arrive to pick up your pizza they will say "just getting cut and boxed up". Oops, I just realized I never reviewed their new location. Doh! They definitely deserve 5 stars for their delivery. Before they moved to this location I ordered from them for a very long time. I think 20 years of consistent service and quality means management stays on top of things. There was an occasional missing dipping sauce, but that's rare and I haven't experienced that in years. The most important thing is the main order is always right, it usually arrives at least 15 minutes before their ETA, and it's hot even when the weather is cold. The pizza itself has always been better than any other chain pizza. I can think of a few small chains and single pizza shops between SLO and LA that are/were better pizza for as similar price point, but not in this area. I haven't been inside this location, but it must be better than sitting just inside the entrance of a supermarket. Anywho, be sure to try them at least once. As other places prices go up theirs are staying steady, making them a far better deal if you ask me. read more

At 6:58, he was "almost there". Then at 7:01, he confirmed he handed the pizza to us...at which point we're scratching our heads, as we're sitting on the couch. So outside the front door, on the ground, is our lukewarm pizza. Not hot. Not cold. But middle of the road warm. Everything was ready at the 20 minute mark. The cashier was friendly and struck up conversation about my T2 shirt, yes I'm an Arnold fan. They offered plates, Parmesan cheese, and forks.
