Was craving some Turkish Pide which is a Turkish flatbread usually with meat, cheese and sauce and…read moresaw this place offered it so wanted to give it a try. I tried my first one in Seattle at a place called Miss Cafe and really enjoyed it. This restaurant is located in a large plaza so there was plenty of parking. Upon walking in it was pretty busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, we were seated immediately. As we were leaving, there were plenty of people waiting for a table. Food I was hoping to order a combination juju boat but the waitress taking our order mentioned the beef is out of stock so therefore we ordered the Juju chicken pide. The flatbread was cooked nicely, the dough was thin, every bite didn't feel too heavy. However the chicken was really dry and didn't feel like there was enough sauce/cheese, ended up putting some garlic sauce on top and it made it a little better. We also ordered the combination platter which came with lamb Kofte, beef/chicken kebab and two sides. We chose hummus and salad as the two sides and it paired well with the plate. The beef was a little dry but the Kofte and chicken were pretty good. They also served us two flatbreads which was nice for wrapping the meat and dipping in hummus. The hummus tasted very fresh and clean with delicate flavors, wish it had a little more tart. Side salad was simple and fresh with olive oil and lemon juice. The Kebbah was piping hot but didn't have much flavor, think it needed some sort of sauce. Overall, the ingredients tasted very fresh and minimalistic but definitely can do with a bit more seasoning or sauce for flavor. Service was friendly and not overly attentive. The servers didn't offer any water or drinks. Almost every table had tea so we flagged down someone to place an order after ordering our meal. There was a little mishap with our order but the owner came over to the table and cleared up the misunderstanding and asked us if we needed anything. Didn't seem like they had a lot of staff for such a busy morning. The space felt very clean and very lively with the lunch rush.

The young man who took his order was very polite and made great recommendations based on his favorite flavors. Everything was delicious: texture was amazing, VERY fragrant, and not too sweet. Although, It might've been too sweet if I didn't order the drink half sweet. I'm not sure how much everything cost because i didn't pay for it but i assume it's expensive as they use real, quality ingredients. My latte tastes pricey, probably $8 My photos don't do the items justice. I'm most excited to come back for another latte and their rice pudding (it tastes like roses!).

We moved further away, so it just slipped out of the regular rotation--but it's one of those places I've always remembered fondly and definitely missed. Happy to report it's still very good. I came in craving a shawarma combo, so I went with the chicken and lamb combo and chose cucumber-tomato salad and tzatziki for the two sides. Everything was well prepared and flavorful, just like I remembered. The portions are big, the kind where if you're not a huge eater you can easily turn one plate into two meals. Always appreciate that. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the place felt clean and well kept. It has that family-run feel, which adds to the experience. The only thing that's changed a bit over the years is the value. Prices are definitely higher than I remember, but honestly that seems to be the case everywhere these days. The generous portions help balance that out. Located in a strip mall in Westminster, it may not be flashy, but if you're looking for solid Mediterranean food, big servings, and friendly service, it still delivers. Glad I made the return visit. Definitely won't let it be so long next time.

5/5 Super nice staff!…read more 3/5 Falafel wrap was honestly ok. It was not as crunchy as I wanted it to be and reminded a bit of breaded chicken warmed up. I also thought this would be in a pita so was a bit disappointed to be honest. Lettuce was also not as fresh but I I do like the variety in the pickled veggies. Overall, it's not a bad place considering its convenience in a mall and if you're shopping and craving Mediterranean food.

My favorite sandwich is definitely the falafel because it comes with two sides (I got fries and babaganoush). Plus, the crispy falafel gives the sandwich a satisfying crunch. As for my least fave item, the shawarma fries did not meet my expectations. Though the fries themselves did manage to stay crispy despite being doused in the "special shawarma sauce," the flavor of the sauce itself was too tart for me. I think excessive sumac might be the culprit here again, but it's possible they also used too much lemon juice for my preference as well. Either way, I couldn't discern any other flavor from the sauce besides sourness. The creamy texture was good, though, and its lukewarm temperature made it easy to dig in immediately (I assume the sauce cooled down the shawarma and fries). Sadly, the beef shawarma was below par this time because it was overly tough and chewy, so I couldn't even finish it (though I did eat all the fries). Still, I've had several great meals here and only one miss with the shawarma fries. That said, the 4-star rating still stands!
