Came here at 1pm on a weekday for lunch. The lunch special included half empty salad bar, drink dispenser empty, and dude told me "to pick something else, this is not a buffet". I ended up drinking water. The iceberg lettuce was near empty and he told me was enough for me. Yes the reviews are true. Ate there yesterday and there was no pizza made for the lunch buffet and yes the worker was rude and when we asked where's the pizza he just said combo or pepperoni?! Most Round Tables have multiple pizzas for a selection. My friend asked for a Hawaiian pizza to be made so the guy makes one pizza half Hawaiian and half combo. There were four guys in the restaurant why would you just make one pizza? It was about noon so more people showed up and they all asked him the same question where's the pizza. I will NEVER come here again. I order a Supreme Pizza on the website. What was delivered was a plain cheese. I called to say there was a mistake. The manager literally yelled at me and told me it was all my fault because I had unchecked all toppings on the website. I said- no on my digital receipt it shows I ordered a supreme. He then yells that it doesn't matter what pizza I paid for or ordered by name, all toppings were "unchecked" on his screen. I then said, if someone ordered and paid more for a supreme pizza why wouldn't you call and make sure that removing all toppings they paid for is correct before giving them a cheese pizza. He said, "I don't have to call anyone. It's your fault. Your using my the apps wrong". When I asked him to please stop yelling at me he hung up on me. No apology for the mix up. Hours need to be updated online and/ or speak with the closing staff about not closing early. Website and Yelp both said they're open until 11pm Friday and Saturday. I went in at 9:45 pm on a Friday to place an order and everything was already cleaned up and put away. Cashier informed me they closed in 10 minutes (which would be almost 10pm) after asking me "how can I help"? If you aren't taking orders during your specified hours of operation, you can't help and should have said "sorry we're closing". Another customer was there complaining about a separate issue that required the staff to try and contact the store manager, who wasn't onsite. Clearly some additional issues happening with this location. Food is typically decent during past visits. read more

The chicken garlic gourmet is the bomb. It's my favorite chain restaurant pizza. I made the mistake of ordering pan crust (may have mixed that up with another chain's buttery pan pizza), and it was way too doughy. I need to make a mental note the regular crust is what I want at RT. I like how they show you your pizza to confirm it's correct before walking out the door with it. I don't like how I was charged almost 10% more when I picked up my pizza than my online receipt and I don't know why because it isn't a detailed receipt. I didn't notice this until I got home and just happened to cross check it in a moment of boredom. Next time I'll check that before walking out the door too. read more

Never again. I appreciate that business is changing, but customer service should not. Already far and away the most expensive pizza place in our area, I ordered off an attractive text special; after an hour when I asked the counter staff what happened to my order (with a 30-45 minute delivery estimate), they blamed it on DoorDash. When I asked why DoorDash was involved as I ordered directly from the store, I was put on hold and then transferred twice before someone finally said my order was now being remade and would be another hour. The order then came 10 minutes later. The order had clearly been sitting for some time. I called again to ask if this was really remade and was told I was being rude. I asked for the manager, he corrected me to say he was the "general" manager and that they don't deliver anymore, it all runs through DoorDash. When I asked why they advertise delivery when they don't he cut me off and said it's just the way it is now. It was just a bad experience all around and no one involved gave a lick about customer service. The "general manager" has no business in this business. I live near the Oakley round table location but come to Disco Bay because the pizza is better and the service is waaaay better. Employees always come to the table and check on us and are so willing to help out. The restaurant is kept clean too which should not even be an issue but Oakley can't keep the tables clean! The owners are not so polite on the phone or in person. We come I. To pick up our food and they have their kids running all around and even in the back with the with in the kitchen. Got the stuffed crust pepperoni and it only had a half or a third of the pepperoni it was supposed to, they did not include the sauce they said they would, and only gave me a medium size when it's supposed to be large. The order was done 10 minutes earlier than they said, even though I was sitting in the lobby, they didn't say anything and just let my pizza sit there and get cold. This is the worst round table in history barely any time Are they available to deliver when you call them they can't answer simple questions about reward points or applying them to your account when they shut off online ordering through the app, you basically have to call them pay full price and you can't use your points because they don't know how to do it. Who would have thought the first time I would try Round Table would be in Discovery Bay. Eclectic dining options are limited in the area and feels like unless you're cooking you may end up eating at a chain or heading to Brentwood about 10-15 min drive away. It was super easy to order through their website and using the free Do$h app got that cash back. Parking is easy in this plaza and when I showed up at the designated time my order was ready. The personal pan was the perfect size for me and I loved the Maui Zaui with ham. Super tasty in the pan format. I also order the "famous" cinnamon twists but they were on the dry side for me. Still ate them tho. Definitely falls in the higher end for me when it comes to large scale chains which for me is Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and Caesars. And if you're curious on the lower end for me is Dominoes. Just If I had to choose I would #supportlocal but this will do. read more
