This place is all-around fantastic! We come here often because of the good food, excellent service and great beer selection. Jarrod Riggins is a superb manager and a great guy. His employees from Justin on down are excellent! Recently we held an event with 30 graduate students from Chico State, and Jarrod made sure it was a huge success. We had our own room, our own server (Bailey - fantastic as always), pizzas, appetizers, and drinks for 90 minutes. It was great, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. We used to go to this Round Table a few times a week. We haven't been back in about 6 months however. Why you ask? Because they got rid of $5 pitchers of Sierra Nevada. I know it's probably not their fault, it's a big chain and they just do what The Man tells them. I'm protesting though damn it. And it's not like all we would go there for was the beer. Well, we kind of did. It was always our plan anyway. But after the first pitcher... we'd decide we were hungry, and order a bunch of food along with the second pitcher. Now, anytime we think of going to round table, instead I call and ask if the $5 Pitchers are back. When they say no, I politely tell them I'll be back when the $5 pitchers are back. Ordered on a Friday night... Pizza was terrible! It was the wrong crust and made us both ill in the morning... I called back the next day and an employee hung up on me when I asked for the manager. Had my wife call back and got a manager. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because the manager was actually professional, unlike his employee that hung up on me. The manager did refund our order and apologized for the terrible experience. Will be looking for the refunded charge. This clubhouse is one of the best places to go for a casual group dinner/drinks! Its a fair balance between adult atmosphere and kid-friendly. There are games and prizes but not over the top like a chucke cheese! Parents can have a good time watching some of the big names in sports while enjoying one of the multiple selections of beers and drinks! The servers are always so nice and they pay attention to their tables. They go out of their way to make the customers happy. They are helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. There is a mango mimosa that is AMAZING and they squeeze fresh orange juice into it! Way over and beyond for a Round Table Pizza. I love remodel on the place, its the same great food with a nice facelift to make the atmosphere up to date and comfortable. We go there as a family for school functions as well as dinners. The place looks amazing! I really like the set up. Everything is clean and modern. I'm not too happy with the self-service going away. I would be okay with it if it were organized. I went there a couple of times with co-workers. We had to ask for utensils, were told we couldn't separate checks, then were told we could. Drinks take a long time to get. Wait person disappeared a few times and didn't check up on us. I think it is mostly because the employees aren't trained to be wait persons. Plus, a few people were standing behind the registers talking. Not sure what they were doing, but it didn't look productive. So, that made it frustrating. I have had nothing but the best experiences here. I order delivery typically after long work days...and they always come through quicker than expected. Often my delivery driver is Steven and he's the friendliest person I've ever met. It's just always a good experience. And Dominos sucks ass. They can't even bring the right dipping sauce. This particular place is wonderful for large groups with kids. They have areas that can be reserved for team parties, or birthdays. They have fund games for the kids that suck up all your quarters, and then they get tickets to redeem for worthless garbage. The food is typical Round Table; nothing exciting. read more

I and my family went here to this Round Table last Saturday for a childs bday party. Food was great, server was awesome ( even though one of the bday rooms wasn't used) sever, a young lady, treated our group as awesome as she did the reserved party rooms. I read most of the reviews and people why are you going to a place where you KNOW children will be running around having lots of fun! I came here for a birthday party today with my children. We arrived late, and rather than hone in n the food still available to the guests who had been timely, we decided to order a separate pizza for our little family. Service was absolutely awful. I don't know if the server attending our table was also assigned to the birthday party or what. Either way, it took more than half an hour to place our order, because the server would never come to our table. We kept signaling him, he'd acknowledge us, and indicate he'd be right back. Of course, he never was right back. It took us another half hour to get our food and another to get our check when we were done. We ordred Delivery & the only positive was the young man that brought this mess to our door. He was polite, clean cut & pleasant. Man..people are picking this place apart. It's a new change people!!! It takes a minute to get it figured out right, calm down. Overall, it's a wonderful change. The bar is beautiful...and clean. I was shocked they served burgers, which turned out to be fantastic. Perhaps service was slightly slower, but if you want the old RTP..go to the other 2 in town! Great family place and great place to sit at the bar and watch some football. As for beer prices...not much different than everywhere else in town..about $4 for the norm. First thing I noticed is that every single TV was playing every single sporting event except the Women's Final Four game. Not cool. I'm not sure what it is about this particular location, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I've eaten there I've gotten sick. I've tried to avoid going there but my lovely wife likes it so I oblige. I've tried different food items, thinking that it was something in a certain item but no matter what I get I end up being sick. Today I went there for a work going away party for an employee. I stayed away from the food but had TWO cups of iced tea. When I got back to work, I promptly proceeded to evacuate the iced tea from my face, quite forcibly. I seriously hope there's nothing nasty going on there but what else am I to think? Another interesting datum is that, at the time of this writing, the Butte County Department of Health DID NOT have an inspection report for this particular location, despite it having been recently remodeled. Being absolutely new to Chico, CA, and having a group of 9 people, 4 being kids 1, 5, 7 and 8 years old, I thought, incorrectly, that the whole group could eat pizza, and have a good time while being in the place. The place was booming loud at about 7 PM on a Thursday. The arcade, which was located very close to our table, was crammed with kids of all ages. The noise coming from the place made normal conversation literally impossible. The younger part of our group did not mind, of course, as long as money was provided so they could accumulate as many tickets their little hands could hold, blowing currency at a very alarming rate, the 1 year old the exception as he was having fun hitting every one with the formula milk of his baby bottle. Chaos reigning as the following food was ordered: XLarge Hawaian Pizza, $36+? Pizza had a nice dough, came with Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, Bacon bits, and cheese. Easy to eat, the problem was very little was consumed. 4 Stars. XLarge Combination Pizza, $36+?, Peppers, Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Onions, etc? This one was no big deal, dough soggy, lacking some quality preparation and ingredients. 3 Stars. 2 Sandwiches, Turkey and Ham, $8+? each. They came with Onion Rings and French Fries, respectively. Thumbs up on both according to the ones that ate them. 4 Stars. Salad Plate, $7? Like most salad bars. 3 Stars. Strawberry Margarita, $8? Expensive and not that great. 3 Stars. Scam! Not So Honest Round Table Pizza #5 on Pillsbury is near my house. Love the Maui Zaui. When I heard the Round Table commercial on my fav radio station 101.7 advertising the Maui Zaui special I called and ordered it. I get there and was charged nearly $29.00 for the roughly $18.00 special that was advertised. I told the kid hey I think you made a mistake, told him about the ad and he said they weren't running a special on Maui Zaui. I Left with my pizza, it was great. I messaged the radio station to see if I was mistaken but I wasn't. And I have heard the commercial many times since. Great music station btw! Called round table and told them about the mistake and since the manager wasn't in, passed my info and asked for a call back. Never heard a thing (week 2). Great pizza but your customer service sucks Round Table. *UPDATE- it took a couple weeks, and after posting to here, Twitter RT Corporate heard back and resolved. read more
