Three complaints about this Round Table. We ordered online and our Pick up time was 7:30, didn't get everything until 7:50. Their excuse was that they mixed our order up with another customer. It was just a gourmet veggie and boneless hot wings. Kind of a pain. While waiting we observed two guys walking into the back, pouring their own beer and going back to sit in the dining area. They were not in uniform but we assume they are employees. We found that very unprofessional. Employees on duty should not be drinking and employees off duty should not pour their own beer (or even grab their own food). I could see maybe grabbing some food but pouring drinks is very unprofessional and probably against company policy. AND if they weren't employees it's got to be illegal to just let random people pour and drink beer for free. Hopefully the manager is reading this. Lastly, they forgot green onions on our gourmet veggie! WTF!? That's our favorite part! I suppose next time we will check the food before we leave... If we come back at all. Fail. read more

When to round table for the lunch buffet. Found the soda machine was out of ice. Informed the attended that there was no ice No one ever came out to check it. But they continued to sell people sodas without informing them that there was no ice. I waited 20 minutes then returned my food to them and thanked them for taking my money. Went to the convenience store bought ice came back the provided them with ice. read more

The original crust pizza I have no complaint. As for the triple play pepperoni crust is a hand made crust- it's hard on the teeth, sand textured and chewy all at the same time. Our pizza had areas that had bubbled up and no cheese or toppings on that slice or area. Tonight I tried a dessert they sold- it's an Otis spunkmeyer cookie they cook there fresh, then top it with your choice of one of three gelato ice creams topped with chocolate & caramel sauce, whip cream & a cherry. Sounds delicious right?!? Especially if you have ever had the privilege of having a BJ's pizookie you would be so excited to have something like that at your local roundtable...we'll keep you $5.91 people- the Roundtable version is pure disappointment. The cookie is not cooked to order- they take it out of the plastic display case, slop the stuff on top and hand you a spoon- no melted gooey delicious center, no rush on eating the ice cream fast because it's not gonna melt since the cookie is not hot or warm at all. I think they may have tried to warm it as the cookie was hard around the edges but yet my mound of ice cream on top didn't melt. I told them how bad it was and they just kinda oh ok my concerns- oh well. Lesson learned won't waste my money there. I am posting a picture of mine- I requested none of the chocolate or caramel sauce so looks a bit different but this is exactly as served to me. read more

You go to a place like this for a fast easy lunch, right? Well it only works if they actually have anything made. Got my salad and then went to get pizza, but the only thing left was an old cheese pizza and a olive. Took one slice of cheese thinking they would have a few new pizzas out quickly. Yeah right! 20 min later we were still waiting for some fresh food. In my opinion not with your time or money. read more

Pros: - Best Round Table Pizza in Chico (see below) - Customer service - Food quality - Coupons Cons: - Expensive - Cleanliness I've been to all three of the Round Table Pizzas in Chico, multiple times, and I can confidently say that the Forest Avenue location is by far the best. Chico's Round Table Pizzas all have great customer service but the Forest Avenue location is able to take that up a notch. I've always felt valued by the employees here. This is the ONLY Round Table Pizza in Chico that makes the Maui Zaui pizza correctly (GREEN ONIONS COME STANDARD ON THE PIZZA!) It is also the only Round Table Pizza in Chico that understands what I mean when I say that I want a red sauce base on the pizza and a Polynesian sauce drizzle on top. On my last visit I asked for (and paid for) both ham and pepperoni on my Maui Zaui. When I received the pizza there was no pepperoni. The manager was happy to cook some pepperoni and then place it onto my pizza thus solving the problem. If you're familiar with Round Table Pizza you know that they don't skimp on toppings. I have been satisfied with this location's toppings living up the (exorbitant) price paid. I watched my pizza being assembled and saw that the toppings were weighed on a scale. All Round Table Pizzas are outrageously expensive. You should never order Round Table Pizza without a coupon. Luckily the Round Table Pizzas in Chico distribute coupons routinely and I was able to save almost $8 on the price of my pizza. It was still expensive, but considering the taste and amount of toppings it was worth the discounted price. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the price of the wings and salad bar. $5.99 for 6 wings (OUCH!) and $10.00 for two to-go salads (SUPER OUCH!!) There were multiple tables that needed to be bussed and cleaned in the dining room. I sat at a cleared table to wait on my carry-out order, but, the table's surface was noticeably sticky. The 20 minutes I spent waiting for my order showed no employee attending to the dirty tables or cleaning-up the salad bar. It was obvious that the employees had their hands full making orders and needed some help. If you're buying Round Table Pizza you're probably doing it for the quality and taste. Round Table Pizza needs to step-up and provide a 5 star experience every time. I wouldn't mind, and suggest, much lower prices to go along with that. read more

I just want to say besides me being a pain in the ass, Mike the manager on forest Ave is AWESOME!!! Of course this happened on a crazy Monday. I placed an order for delivery to make my life a little easier since I was so busy at work and it's just been a hard crazy day and when I got the wrong pizza delivered to me it was the wrong one. Who else wouldn't be a little frustrated? So I called over and talk to mike to let him know and he went ahead and took care of me with NO hesitation and got a new pizza delivered to me within 20 minutes and gave me some goodies. I just want to say he's doing 1 he'll of a job taking care of his customers and feel that he needs to be recognized because there's not that very many good managers like Mike. Thank you so much again mike! read more

Ordered online and took advantage of the contactless delivery. Manager went out of his way to deliver our dipping sauces ordered for our garlic twists and pizza. I normally would let it slide but that's why I tend to pick up in person. Day off from work so I'm doing Thanksgiving crafts with my nephews while I watch them and I know I was never going to hear the end of the lack of sauces. Thank you to the Forest Ave manager and staff for looking out for their customers. read more

This Round Table is my favorite anywhere! The manager Mike is all about customer service and has a staff he's conscientious with!!! Plus his food is always fresh and pizza and salad bar is delicious. I really like this for a family dinner night with no fuss on my part. Plus, it's clean and the kids are always happy to go. read more

The pricey pizza is good but the cashier was extremely rude. Had $50 worth of food and asked for a bag so I could carry it all out. She reached under the counter and threw a plastic bag at me. Next time will not upset her and will go somewhere else read more

Good food, service, and delivery! Enough said! Edit: ordered from here again and it is the same, so that means they're consistent on their quality! read more

I do not generally write a negative review, however!!!!! I ordered my food for delivery and delivery expectation was set for delivery at 11:38. My food arrived at 12:15. I understand sometimes there is traffic and weather, but almost 40 minutes is not acceptable. If something comes up and you know the order is going to be that late then a call would be nice as I wasted my entire lunch time waiting for a delivery that was pretty late. read more

We ordered 3 XL pizzas at the counter to go. Sat and had a beer while we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally we flagged down an employee to ask how much longer. "Oh, those have been ready for a while." Wow, thanks for the heads up. Last time we visit this pizza joint. Celestinos from now on! read more

Upon my entrance I couldn't help to observe that I was the only customer in the pizza parlour. I was wondering why they had gotten rid of the nice bar...But I was mistaking this round table for one on Pillsbury. I couldn't help guilt tinged empathy for the workers slaving away in a hot kitchen. read more

Excellent pizza! Sodas were great. Customer service was great. Not all Round Table restaurants are good but this location is! Will definitely be back. read more

I have to give this location 5 stars because of the excellent customer service. The whole team was very friendly and attentive, and I'd have to say this was the best experience and customer service I've had from a Round Table Pizza. In particular, Joe was extremely friendly - I hope he's promoted to a manager soon (if he isn't already) because if more Joes were running the RTP's of the world, there would be no competition. read more

I was very pleased with the customer service I received here. All of the employees were very friendly especially joe. From the second we walked in he greeted us with a smile, and made sure we had a great experience. He is a great employee, and because of him I will definitely return to this round table location. I have to say this was one of the best dinners I have had in a while. They brought out the food with speed, asked us if they could get us anything and smiled the entire time. Great dinner!!! read more

I really enjoy going to round table for their all you can eat lunch. You get salad and a ton of pizza which is always a good thing. It is really just your normal round table. They have a good selection of local beers which always make my trip here more enjoyable. read more

I came during lunch but the buffet was over. The gentlemen went ahead and allowed me to get the same deal. He also checked in with me to ensure I was ok and didn't need anything. Great service that was unexpected in a chain restaurant. Great job, I'll be back! read more

This place earns it's 5 stars hands down. Service is great, all of the employees are attentive and helpful. I never have to wait too long for my orders. WHich Round Table is this? There are at least 2 that I know of. I have been to both and they are both good. RTP doesn't get 4 stars becasue of their prices. read more

I've never had a bad experience with Round Table. They have very good pizza. The prices are a little high, but it's also better than every where else in town. They also help out local small non profits with donations. I think they're a great company. read more

These two stars is only in regards to the buffet. It stinks, had to keep asking them to put more pizza out there and it wasnt even a full house. Bread sticks ran out what do u know tgey brought 6 more out lol what a joke read more

For fast food pizza it is pretty good, but I usually order delivery and every time they have taken a very long time to delivery and have messed up the order. But i do go bak, because the food is pretty good. read more

This store is the absolute best in Chico. While there are 3 round table locations, the forest ave store is far better than the other two. The staff is always cherry and helpful! One of the shift supervisors, Ben S., is always the most helpful person in the store would definitely recommend read more

My husband and 4 kids went here it was kids and I first time there. The people were so friendly and the food was great and the restaurant was clean. We all loved it ty for making us feel welcomed in California. read more

Grew up a Round Table fan. Love their salad bar and bread sticks too.. just wish they'd take it easy on their prices a bit.

Thanks for the nice people like James Gates, manager, who supported our local community organization, the Chico Creek Nature Center. We appreciate the prize coupons to use at our fund raising Carnival. Also great service on pizza and salad bar. read more

Great pizza Great customer service. Will come back again. Like a sheer ringing me up was very nice the person taking the order was also very courteous read more

Great lunch buffet at a reasonable price. They are always consistent and what more can you ask for out of a chain restaurant. I find this location to have a better selection of pizza types than another location closer to campus. read more

Awesome manager James! Order the special for economy reasons... an amazing product. This place would be 5 stars if remodeled. A very solid pizza experience! read more

Ordered online, said it would be ready at 6:40. Got there at 6:30 paid cash, was told a few more minutes. 30 minutes later I approached the register again and low and behold my pizza was done and they never called me. They asked, did you pay? SMH, So I got a cold pizza and wings with no bleu cheese and half hearted apology. Not the best service. read more

The pizza and the crew are always fantastic! Always go for the chicken club! A manager always come to check on us!

There delivery time has improved and the driver was really nice. That's very important to me. However, the food is o.k. but there are some issues. I paid $7.45 for a one item personal pizza that wasn't as big as a slice from Celestino's. Extremely overpriced. And I ordered regular crust but got thin crust. The boneless wings had a good sauce but they were very dry and seemed like they had been frozen for a long time. All in all, not too bad but $17 for a slice and 6 wings? There are better places to go. read more

Ordered a garlic supreme it came with no garlic no green onions and a few tomateos they insisted this is the way it comes but they did bring a small cup of onions and garlic for us to put on pizza well that's when wife lost it they couldn't even admit there mistake will not be back good luck read more

Consistently awesome food and service. All Round Tables should be equal, but they are not. Forrest Ave Round Table is hands down the most reliable Round Table around. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I'm a picky eater with picky children so our order is detailed and involves a lot of special requests. Forrest Ave always gets it right! read more

Round table is one of my favorite pizza places. It's the most tasty in my opinion and conveniently located. The only down side is the expensive price and 9 times out of 10 when I ask for ranch, I don't get it. This is fine if I am picking up the pizza because I can check if they included the ranch and then ask for it again, but in the event of a delivery without ranch, it turns into a sad, sad situation. read more

Good place to eat. Love the staff and food!! I got my food quick and perfect, I highly recommend this Round Table. I will never stop eating at Round Table. read more

Really enjoy coming here. Right down the street from my apt. Great service, very welcoming. I enjoy the FREE WI-FI. It comes in handy when youre trying to watch your Fantasy Football team on NFL Network, and still have homework to finish. Very pleased this is my neighborhood Round Table Pizza. read more

I recalled this RTP's food as much better quality than what I ate yesterday. I'd put it on par with Little Caesars and Dominos, but at an exorbitant price in comparison. It had been at least a year since we had eaten at the Forest Ave RTP. I used to eat their pizza, in Paradise, a lot because it was my first job 6 years back. It seems their reference of being, "The Home of the Last Honest Pizza" refers to it being honestly disappointing. =/ If we hadn't paid $20 for the pan pizza, twists, and 2 Liter we would have thrown it out. There was hardly any meat on it and it was so horribly bland that plain French Bread would have been more delicious. At least it didn't make my boyfriend or I sick. Next time I'll drive to Mangrove for Mountain Mikes, who has the same $20 deal or a Large 1-topping for $13 w/coupon. (We only went to RTP because it was around the corner from my house sit.) read more
