Chico's Round Table Pizzas all have great customer service but the Forest Avenue location is able to take that up a notch. I've always felt valued by the employees here. This is the ONLY Round Table Pizza in Chico that makes the Maui Zaui pizza correctly (GREEN ONIONS COME STANDARD ON THE PIZZA!) It is also the only Round Table Pizza in Chico that understands what I mean when I say that I want a red sauce base on the pizza and a Polynesian sauce drizzle on top. On my last visit I asked for (and paid for) both ham and pepperoni on my Maui Zaui. When I received the pizza there was no pepperoni. The manager was happy to cook some pepperoni and then place it onto my pizza thus solving the problem. If you're familiar with Round Table Pizza you know that they don't skimp on toppings. I have been satisfied with this location's toppings living up the (exorbitant) price paid. I watched my pizza being assembled and saw that the toppings were weighed on a scale. All Round Table Pizzas are outrageously expensive. You should never order Round Table Pizza without a coupon. Luckily the Round Table Pizzas in Chico distribute coupons routinely and I was able to save almost $8 on the price of my pizza. It was still expensive, but considering the taste and amount of toppings it was worth the discounted price. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the price of the wings and salad bar. $5.99 for 6 wings (OUCH!) and $10.00 for two to-go salads (SUPER OUCH!!) There were multiple tables that needed to be bussed and cleaned in the dining room. I sat at a cleared table to wait on my carry-out order, but, the table's surface was noticeably sticky. The 20 minutes I spent waiting for my order showed no employee attending to the dirty tables or cleaning-up the salad bar. It was obvious that the employees had their hands full making orders and needed some help. If you're buying Round Table Pizza you're probably doing it for the quality and taste. Round Table Pizza needs to step-up and provide a 5 star experience every time. I wouldn't mind, and suggest, much lower prices to go along with that. read more

I do not generally write a negative review, however!!!!! I ordered my food for delivery and delivery expectation was set for delivery at 11:38. My food arrived at 12:15. I understand sometimes there is traffic and weather, but almost 40 minutes is not acceptable. If something comes up and you know the order is going to be that late then a call would be nice as I wasted my entire lunch time waiting for a delivery that was pretty late. read more

I was wondering why they had gotten rid of the nice bar...But I was mistaking this round table for one on Pillsbury. I really enjoy going to round table for their all you can eat lunch. You get salad and a ton of pizza which is always a good thing. It is really just your normal round table. They have a good selection of local beers which always make my trip here more enjoyable. read more

There delivery time has improved and the driver was really nice. That's very important to me. However, the food is o.k. but there are some issues. I paid $7.45 for a one item personal pizza that wasn't as big as a slice from Celestino's. Extremely overpriced. And I ordered regular crust but got thin crust. The boneless wings had a good sauce but they were very dry and seemed like they had been frozen for a long time. All in all, not too bad but $17 for a slice and 6 wings? The only down side is the expensive price and 9 times out of 10 when I ask for ranch, I don't get it. This is fine if I am picking up the pizza because I can check if they included the ranch and then ask for it again, but in the event of a delivery without ranch, it turns into a sad, sad situation. read more

I recalled this RTP's food as much better quality than what I ate yesterday. I'd put it on par with Little Caesars and Dominos, but at an exorbitant price in comparison. It had been at least a year since we had eaten at the Forest Ave RTP. I used to eat their pizza, in Paradise, a lot because it was my first job 6 years back. It seems their reference of being, "The Home of the Last Honest Pizza" refers to it being honestly disappointing. =/ If we hadn't paid $20 for the pan pizza, twists, and 2 Liter we would have thrown it out. There was hardly any meat on it and it was so horribly bland that plain French Bread would have been more delicious. At least it didn't make my boyfriend or I sick. Next time I'll drive to Mangrove for Mountain Mikes, who has the same $20 deal or a Large 1-topping for $13 w/coupon. Usually I have no problems with round table. But my last experience here I had some. First I was given cups that I felt were dirty. I asked nicely for two new cups. The shift leader or possibly manager proceeds to tell that one is just a hard water ring because of chico water and refuses to replace it, but replaces the other. I'm sorry but I've lived in chico for 20 plus years and my plastic and glass cups at home don't have hard water stains or rings on them. Wash your dishes better. The other problem i had was the salad bar. if your veggies are sad looking don't serve them. Some of their veggies just needed to be tossed out. I'm not returning to this location. I did get other foods but my wife and I felt that the quality of food was not at their best this time. read more
