I highly recommend this place and I want to come back again! I wish they have one close to my house!! So I guess I can only come to this place once a year! :( This cafe is inside the Russian grocery store, I would say it's an hidden gem! The place was so clean, and filled with good vibes! We ordered borscht, chicken Pel Meni, potato Pierogies, Napoleon cake, and strawberry Matcha. Everything is delicious!!!!!! Borscht tasted like mom made! It felt so hearty and comforting!! Chicken Pel Meni was definitely a staple! I would say their potatoes pierogis were the best ones I have ever had! Like ever! It's so creamy and buttery! I will definitely come back for more! See you again next year!!

Spotted by for a nightcap coffee after a birthday dinner. It was hopping! And now I know why! We got a Turkish coffee and ginger tea. Both were delicious! The Turkish coffee had a full set up with glass of water and a special chocolate. The ginger tea came in a French press with fresh orange slices and mint springs. We were so impressed! They also offer crepes, dumplings, and pastries. It is the perfect way to end the night. They even helped me pack the rest of my tea to go. I definitely want to try the food next time. It looked so good!

Amazing local shop with great food. The gals that work there are always so helpful. They have groceries, coffee, tea., cake, pastries, hot bar, salads and food made to order. They have outdoor patio and indoor seating. 10/10 come check this place out!

i came here to get some work done and i really liked this place! it's pretty small but the seats are comfortable and we were lucky that one of the tables next to an electric socket was open so we could charge our devices. there were probably 8ish people in the cafe area which would suck if we weren't able to sit by an outlet but we were lucky today. there were quite a lot of people coming in and out of the place since it's also connected to a grocery store but i didn't mind. the store has a bunch of unique russian/european snacks and a small hot bar which i didn't get the chance to try but everything looked really good. they have a bunch of savory crepes which was super cool. i tried a bite of the salmon one but i think i would've liked it better if there was more filling. the portion was pretty big though. i also got a slice of the snickers cake to eat at home and it was super good! i don't usually care for the cream/icing part of cakes but i really liked this one. there's also some nuts inside of the cream and i really like how they add texture to the cake. i would definitely recommend it and i would get it again. i liked my experience here and would come back again! i would just be weary of coming here to get work done on weekends. we were here 3-6pm on a thursday and there was a steady flow of people so there's no guarantee you'll be able to sit next to an outlet.

The morning crew was welcoming and did a fantastic job with coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches alike. I appreciate that they offer honey as a sweetener option add on as it really highlighted the beans they were working with without overpowering with sweet. The rock and mineral collection is impressive and I'm sure I could feel the good vibes amplified thanks to the thoughtful displays throughout the space. I feel like Carnelian captures the Portland feel in such an authentic way and look forward to returning with a book next time to enjoy the space a little longer.

We're not sure what it was, it could have been the morning bun so I asked a barista. The pastries have some allergen information in the placards but when I get an allergic reaction, I want to make sure and ask. They looked through the ingredients list/binder and they couldn't find the ingredients for the morning bun. Luckily, my husband and my allergies are pretty mild, but this seems pretty dangerous. If you have any kind of allergy, I don't think this is the place for you.

They have a cloud coffee menu and a typical Vietnamese coffee menu, but I was looking forward to their coffee flight! I had seen it on Instagram, and decided that was what we were trying. For $12, you get to choose three of the coffee drinks you wanted. They come in their proper espresso shot sizes, and they are strong! We decided to try their pandan, latte, and black sesame. As stated, these drinks are strong and their flavors or cloud tops aren't overpowering. The cups they come in are super cute and have a Vespa on it! We also ordered their mango sticky rice Croffle and a banana cream Croffle. It's very cheap and worth the price! For $7, you get a super hot Croffle with delicious toppings. My fiancé loved their mango sticky rice - very authentic. I loved their bananas especially since it was caramelized The service was quick, too, being that they only had one worker! It was definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend it for coffee!

Everything started great as the shop was easy to find, parking was easy even though we arrived around noon on a Saturday. It wasn't overly busy and we were able to place an order and find seating right away. We ordered two meal and coffee combos: the banana coffee and pork shop rice, and the coconut whip cream coffee with the Legend pho. We also shared a beignette donut, which had a milky custard filling inside of the pillowy breading. The coffee came first and we loved our drinks. The banana coffee has a rich yummy banana cream, and the coffee underneath wasn't sweet, so there was a good contrast. The banana coffee came with extra bit of black coffee so you can adjust it to your liking. I also liked my coconut whipped cream coffee. The whipped cream has a stuble coconut favor with toasty coconut flakes on top, the Vietnamese style milk coffee was a bit sweet but that's expected. Then the food came, and they looked GOOD. The pork chop rice was presented beaufifully and tasted great. I liked my pho and I loved that it arrived sizzling hot. The broth was deep in color and neutral in taste, again, very nice to eat. The dining area was comfortable, spacious and relaxing and the staff were friendly and attentive. So why did I deduct a star from my review? Well... do you know they have a loyality program? The person behind the counter did not mention it so I only found out about it from a pamphlet on our table after we ordered all of our food and drinks. In the loyality program, you get 1 free drink after you purchase 9, and you get $5 off when you spend $50 or more. Sadly, I wasn't aware of its existence when I paid and the staff member running the register told me that they could not enroll me in the program after I paid, or provide me with any credits for the drinks that I purchased on their digital punch card. I think they should have told me about the loyalty program before I paid at the register, or should have allowed me to at least collect the points afterwards even if I could not get a discount on the total that I spent. Because of this issue, I left Legend feeling annoyed that I missed out on getting a discount that I would have been entitled to if they told me about their loyalty program, but also missed out on collecting two digital "stamps," or "stars," towards getting a free coffee through no fault of my own. Overall, it was a great experience until it wasn't so great. I probably won't be returning to this locaton and hopfully I will have a better experience at the Beaverton location when they open. This time at least I will know about the loyalty program ahead of time if nobody mentions it.

Decided to drive over anyway after reading their business profile on Yelp. It's about 15 minutes from my place. I ordered a 16oz Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte ($4.95), which was listed on their website but not posted on the in-store menu. Add-ons: 70¢ each for cinnamon and oat milk, bringing the total to $6.35, relatively cheaper than most shops. It tasted fine: not too sweet, which I appreciated. I'd just go for extra shots next time, since I prefer a bolder coffee flavor. Also got a Marionberry Cream Cheese Danish ($3.75) from a local bakery: flaky, light, not overly sweet, and reasonably priced. Interior: Spacious and inviting, definitely a spot where you can slow down, work, or hang out as the name suggests. Free Wi-Fi available. There's a community bulletin board near the restroom hallway. Restroom: One-stall, gender-neutral, clean, stocked, and toilet seat covers provided. Code required, just ask. Parking: Free street parking. Located at a busy intersection off Foster and I-205, so you'll hear traffic if seated near the windows. Solid local spot worth returning to.
