    Mushroom crepe

Fascinating place. Deli counter, storefront, homeopathic remedies, small sitting area. The store is far larger that the exterior would suggest. We (4) came in for lunch. Dumplings, chicken soup, pierogis, and a mushroom crepe were ordered and received quickly. My crepe had an oddly fruity sweetness and the mushrooms may have been canned. The dumplings we agreed were the most flavorful. The pierogis were very neutral, the chicken soup received as positive nod. And I picked up a pound of halvah, looks like it was produced there. Quite tasty.

I highly recommend this place and I want to come back again! I wish they have one close to my house!! So I guess I can only come to this place once a year! :( This cafe is inside the Russian grocery store, I would say it's an hidden gem! The place was so clean, and filled with good vibes! We ordered borscht, chicken Pel Meni, potato Pierogies, Napoleon cake, and strawberry Matcha. Everything is delicious!!!!!! Borscht tasted like mom made! It felt so hearty and comforting!! Chicken Pel Meni was definitely a staple! I would say their potatoes pierogis were the best ones I have ever had! Like ever! It's so creamy and buttery! I will definitely come back for more! See you again next year!!

Spotted by for a nightcap coffee after a birthday dinner. It was hopping! And now I know why! We got a Turkish coffee and ginger tea. Both were delicious! The Turkish coffee had a full set up with glass of water and a special chocolate. The ginger tea came in a French press with fresh orange slices and mint springs. We were so impressed! They also offer crepes, dumplings, and pastries. It is the perfect way to end the night. They even helped me pack the rest of my tea to go. I definitely want to try the food next time. It looked so good!

Amazing local shop with great food. The gals that work there are always so helpful. They have groceries, coffee, tea., cake, pastries, hot bar, salads and food made to order. They have outdoor patio and indoor seating. 10/10 come check this place out!

i came here to get some work done and i really liked this place! it's pretty small but the seats are comfortable and we were lucky that one of the tables next to an electric socket was open so we could charge our devices. there were probably 8ish people in the cafe area which would suck if we weren't able to sit by an outlet but we were lucky today. there were quite a lot of people coming in and out of the place since it's also connected to a grocery store but i didn't mind. the store has a bunch of unique russian/european snacks and a small hot bar which i didn't get the chance to try but everything looked really good. they have a bunch of savory crepes which was super cool. i tried a bite of the salmon one but i think i would've liked it better if there was more filling. the portion was pretty big though. i also got a slice of the snickers cake to eat at home and it was super good! i don't usually care for the cream/icing part of cakes but i really liked this one. there's also some nuts inside of the cream and i really like how they add texture to the cake. i would definitely recommend it and i would get it again. i liked my experience here and would come back again! i would just be weary of coming here to get work done on weekends. we were here 3-6pm on a thursday and there was a steady flow of people so there's no guarantee you'll be able to sit next to an outlet.

Inside the cafe area is pretty cool, a bunch of seating with a walk up and order counter. The prices are really good too, pastries for only a few dollars and a cup of soup for 5 or so. Before or after you eat, you can peruse the shop. It's pretty big land laid out nicely. The employees were nice and this must be a good deal because the majority of the folks were elderly. I ordered a curried chicken salad sandwich and chili and cornbread. The sandwich was flavorful and appropriately seasoned, although the chicken was a much larger dice than it should've been for a sandwich. Next time I'd probably ask for the white como bread to be toasted. The chili was nothing to write home about-it was on the watery side and more like a soup and less like a chili. It did have kidney and black beans which you don't see too often, so I give them credit for creativity. Would not get it again. However, the cornbread was absolutely delicious and I would get three more pieces and just make my own chili at home. All in all, this is such a cool spot that I'll definitely be hitting up again. The coffee was decent and they had super long biscotti and other totally affordable pastries. I walked through the shop and even though I didn't buy anything I wanted to. Check it out!

We ordered at the counter - my friend got a turkey bagel with iced coffee and I got the tuna melt with tomato soup with black coffee. As things were prepared, the server brought it to our table and was very polite. The ambience is a mix of café and bistro, everything was super comfortable. The music in the background was not too loud. Everything was inviting. The food genuinely surprised me - my friend's bagel sandwich came drizzled with a balsamic glaze and was pretty comprehensive - the turkey included cheese and avocado and sprouts and was well above and beyond what you would expect from a turkey bagel sandwich. My tomato soup appeared to have been made in house which surprised me. And the tuna sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. It was dark tuna but not that shitty cheap dark stuff, but the actual dark tuna that you want if you're trying to provide an elevated flavorful experience. We did not order from the dessert case, but oh my God it is ridiculously overwhelming in terms of the offering. I almost wanna go back and just graze on desserts. The location is a little weird and kinda out-of-the-way for me but if I'm in that part of town again, I will definitely be making a stop.

The flavor is very unique. A creamy thick egg foam with tiny chunks of minty chocolate and a strong hit of Vietnamese coffee is the perfect pick me up. Service was fast and nice. They specialize in Vietnamese coffee, and my friend from Vietnam told me that this brand of coffee is actually the most famous in her home country, and I see why! The menu is very vast, they have food, pastries, and they have plenty of drink options hot/cold, coffee and non-coffee items. What was very interesting and actually a bit confusing was that they have several levels of their phin drip, I got whatever the cashier recommended, and it was very good! It was literally just a shot of drip coffee, yielded maybe less than 3oz of fluid, but it packed a punch of flavor and caffeine. If you're looking for a drink to sip, I would order something else since it's so tiny. But it was very picture worthy! The Vietnamese sea salt cream latte was perfect as well.
