Never had a 650 dollar facial before ??) for a facial that left my skin in the worst condition of my life, and still 5 months later, I have the worst cystic acne and so much fungal acne because of her treatment that I can't seem to get rid of. She just tried to take as much money from me as possible, and refused to give me more than 100 dollars back for ruining my skin. DO NOT come here. You're better off at a dermatologist who actually understands how to treat acne and different skin conditions, and doesn't try to just shove random products down your throat that only damage your skin barrier and are not tailored to suit your individual skin needs and only help her get the most money she can. Even before this nightmare facial she gave me, I had used her products that she had recommended, and while it was mostly fine since my face had already been pretty clear, her products left my skin burning for months. When I asked her what to do about it or if she had any other products to recommend, she said the pain and burning was normal and fine and to keep using it. But it made my face red for months, and no normal dermatologist would recommend you continue to use products that burn or make the face red. She does not care at all about what happens, she's just trying to take your money. Completely awful service. Do not come here. Need to edit this post because the owner sent me a very gaslighting message that further proves she does not understand how skincare works. She claims that there was no way a facial could ruin your skin. But my dermatologist a week later, and everyone in my life, saw how severely damaged my skin barrier was right after this treatment and months later. It was not normal for a facial. I never in my life had this amount of fungal and cystic acne that I'm still trying to clear to this day. Any dermatologist can tell you that it takes MONTHS to clear and heal your skin after getting a treatment that damages your skin barrier enough to cause a severe amount of fungal and cystic acne, but she didn't seem to understand how a treatment could do that, which is shocking, if you are supposed to understand how to treat and manage the skin??? I came across Meghabrows and can I say I was not disappointed. She took the time to show me the outline of my eyebrows and checked in to make sure I liked the shape. She listened to my concerns and talked me through the whole appointment - even teaching me how to fill in my brows, which I've never done before. I have been a customer at Simi nails for two years. I have referred Jhanvi to my mom, sister and…read morethree friends. Lately I have noticed that the nail polish is hard and not the best quality. Today, I went in to get a pedicure and gel manicure. While doing the pedicure, Jhanvi mentioned that the nail polish was thin and she would do three coats. I expressed that I was concerned about it drying properly. She said "no no, it will dry." While doing my gel manicure, I kept an eye on my toes and noticed the nail polish was pulling together on the big toenails and was drying with air bubbles. I pointed it out to Jhanvi. She looked at it. When she finished the gel manicure, she dismissed me. I then asked if she was going to fix my toenails. She said it would cost $5.00 to fix the left big toenail and $10.00 to fix the right toenail. I asked why because I did voiced my concerns about three coats and then I mentioned the way it was drying while she was doing my manicure. I didn't even leave the chair. I was in the salon within the hours that were scheduled for my appointment. Jhanvi then started raising her voice. I paid, then went over to Simi Hair Salon to look for the owner to address my experience, but he wasn't there. I spoke to someone else who works there and showed her my toes. I would like this issue addressed. I am very disappointed in your service. ​

I felt she was adequate to treat me for dermatological issues so I continued with her as a patient due to the convenient proximity to my house and job. Today I went in to see her she immediately let me know I hadn't been there in a year. I felt that was a reference to not seeing me enough, why my skin condition was under control. Then she asked why I was there when I told her renew RX and I need a letter to substantiate a condition she has treated me for over these past years as I was seeking a further surgical remedy to the condition. She refused as she could not substainate this is a continued issue for me because the condition is not as evident as it was( the treatment is intermittent when it works). This is within her right, but as I was talking to her she walked out and then ran to another room not to discuss it further she didn't have the backbone to have an intelligent discussion defending her position,nor did she say goodbye. I went to the desk I told them I was furious she was rude and inappropriate. How can you treat me for a condition which she wrote a prescription for today and notes in the chart and refuse to attest to it in a medical letter. With all this said I asked for my records to mailed and they were to call my RX in to the pharmacy. They asked me for my co payment I told them I would not pay it today and would mail the payment to them. That she could wait for it. I did not hear for pharmacy for 2 hours I called no RX was in I called the office, they said because I did not pay my copay today they were going withhold my RX until they received their $40... money hungry much?? Sorry, this is clearly retaliation and she is in violation of her medical code of ethics. I am a RN 30 years. She is not allowed to withhold treatment once she has seen me based on her anger it is irrelevant whether she likes me or not she is unethical and has crossed the the line. I will be making a formal complaint to the NYS Medical ethics board for misconduct. This physician needs to get her ego in check and learn that her patients are not just a pay day they actually are people with real issues . She has every right to refuse to write the letter and a disagreement should not result in retaliation my copayment will be made and I am moving onto a real MD with the medical ethics in tow. Shame on this MD. I feel bad for all those patients who may not know their patient right. Be ware this may not be the right MD for you!

I made an apt for my…read moredaughter to have a skin check, arrived early and filled out all of the paperwork for the very businesslike and unfriendly office staff only to have them then ask why I was there and inform me I would have to make another apt since she doesn't do skin checks at night. Not sure why the office staff never mentioned that when I made the apt. They offered to have her look at my daughter's back, which they would have charged for as well as forcing me to make another apt. There are other dermatologist offices with actual customer service skills out there. Would never deal with Dr. Lish's office again.
