Time for my updated review of Sonia's waxing plus. I've been coming here for so many years now,…read moreSonia and her team have become like extended family so I often forget to do these essential reviews often. I started with Sonia back in 2014 and I have frequented every single location Sonia's waxing plus has had over the years. I am always willing to travel near and far (from West Hills actually, lol) for services because it's worth it! Sonia and her team don't just do waxing services, they also do skin care which is important when getting waxing services. Sonia always checks the integrity of my skin, She can always tell if I have or have not exfoliated or when I have and have not used the Vanish, (always buy and use the vanish!) My skin is one of my best features, Sonia and her team are part of my beauty dream team that keeps my skin looking like GOLD! Always on time and on track with appointment times. They are very accommodating with availability too! The staff are always extremely helpful. Prices are perfect! Service and Care are excellent! It's a tiny hidden skin spa! Very private and comfortable. I've been a client over 10years now, and I've referred many of my friends and family members, and she is also on our company's preferred exclusive beauty services recommendations! Sonia's waxing plus has been my skincare hidden gem for years and I would like to share and recommend this studio for Skin Care and waxing services with the world.

Thank you Patricia's Brazilian Waxing. - Pricing is super fair. - Atmosphere super clean. - No double dipping wax. - Pop music in the background. - Front desk super friendly. - Good location.

Doris did a new set of UV gel on me due to the terrible job done last time with my previous set (done at a different place in the area). I absolutely LOVE how they came out! She filed them exactly as I asked and took her time in doing them. I'm super happy and I haven't said that for a long time about my nails! Definitely will return to Doris in a few weeks for my fill in! Highly recommend trying this place!

The ambiance of the location is so zen, so cute, and so perfect for a relaxing massage. Had a balayage done for the first time by the colorist Gabriella. Since my hair is so dark I wasn't sure how it would come out. She was very honest & committed to the process. Anyone I've had there has always been very nice and always done a great job with my hair. The before is from me not having gone in almost a year since I don't live in the area anymore.

She does not get scissor happy and she's very attentive to my styling request, offering professional consultation when necessary. The reception staff was very friendly.

I have been coming to Simone for years, and am very behind in leaving her a review since she's just…read moreamazing at what she does. Of course, I wouldn't have stayed with her for so long, if she wasn't! First off, (and really most importantly), Simone is truly a caring and thoughtful individual who always puts her clients first. She's not about "upselling" you or trying to "convince" you of additional services, she truly has your best interests at heart. She gives an honest assessment of your skin and advises you, using her years of experience as an esthetician. She worked for years with one of the largest beauty spas in the country, so she knows her stuff. I've had several facials with her over the years, and recently, my mother began seeing her. She commented that she gives the best facial she's ever had. And at 74, she's had a lot of facials over the years for comparison. As a waxer, she shines because she is extremely thorough, in making sure all your hair is removed properly. I rarely have ingrown hairs, but when I do, she takes care of them for me. I see her every 5 weeks for my Brazilian, arms, and sometimes armpits. Brazilians are notoriously painful if you wait too long, but Simone is great about making the process comfortable. My boyfriend also sees her for back waxing and is always happy with the results. Her place is beautiful and always spotless. Her prices are affordable and that makes it so much easier to continue to return to her for maintenance. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is, both as an esthetician and a person.

She was conversive in a comfortable, friendly way and discussed what she would like to do, she asked if I had any preferences or anything, in particular, I wanted to get done. I told her I would go with what she was comfortable doing. She gently applied wax to clean my brow areas and filled them in then topped them with a brow gel to keep them in place. My brows look amazing and her fill-in technique is superb. They look super natural and perfectly contoured. I would recommend and return to Ro without a doubt. The Spa is really nice as well, smells wonderful, looks clean and the ambiance is very relaxing. I might schedule a facial here soon.

My EWC account already contains my previous visit history, so if I wasn't eligible, the app should not have offered me the promotion in the first place. I was not told I was ineligible until AFTER my eyebrow wax had already been completed. At that point, I was told I had to pay $27 for a service I booked believing would be free. During the appointment, I was also asked if I ever get my upper lip waxed, which felt like an unnecessary attempt to upsell me on another service. I contacted EWC Corporate Guest Relations, who referred me back to this location because it is independently franchised. I would appreciate a manager or owner from the New Hyde Park location reaching out to me directly to resolve the charge. I would much rather have this addressed and resolved than leave the experience as it currently stands
