I called Rotti's and talked to Trinity who who was very personable and helpful. She told me to drop it off and they would look at it. I expected it to take awhile as they were swamped because of the past and looming snowstorm. To my surprise, Tiffany called the next day and said it was ready, plus the repair bill was very reasonable. Do not hesitate to use Rotti's for all your yard machines sales and service. I emailed Rotti's Wednesday night and they responded soon after! Not only that, one of the owners, Megan, said she could have it picked up the next morning. I wasn't expecting service this fast. Even then, the storm was hitting Sunday and still had little hope of have it back by then. No matter, could use the exercise and mentally prepared the kids for the Monday morning task. No word from them Friday. Sent an email late just asking for an update because they were open Saturday but closed Sunday. No reply. I prepared the kids for the worst and laid out the plan for the storm with intermittent shoveling throughout before bedtime. But! Sunday morning as I'm making pancakes for the family I get an email from Megan saying (paraphrasing) "Hey! Snowblower is done. Want us to drop it off?" Hell yeah!!! Mere hours before the storm. I know they were busy with the impending storm, they didn't have to stay open on Sunday for me, and I bet a few others, to help us manage the biggest snowfall in like a decade, but they did. These are incredible people and you should totally give them your business. Oh! And the work was very reasonably priced. I was expecting at least double what I was charged. And a good chunk of that was becasue I had them pick up and deliver. Which they do, BTW. Use this company, you won't be sorry!

I had a zero-turn residential mower that wouldn't start. After trying basic troubleshooting myself (fresh fuel, new spark plug, starting fluid), I suspected a carburetor issue but preferred to have a professional diagnose it since access is difficult. Patrick Cote answered my call and offered a full-service package for $169 + $50 deposit, including oil, filters, spark plug, and blade sharpening, along with diagnosis. He later claimed a mouse had chewed through the wiring harness and quoted ~$850 total for replacement. I agreed, even after asking about aftermarket parts (which he refused to use due to "liability"). Two days later, he said the harness was fixed but now the transmission had leaked fluid, requiring another ~$650 in parts (labor waived). Over the next two weeks, he blamed delays on parts but eventually returned the mower. It ran--but that's where the positives end. Upon inspection: The "new" wiring harness was clearly NOT replaced (same old dusty wires) Both transmissions were untouched (no signs of service or disassembly) Oil filter was not replaced Blades were not sharpened Air filter unchanged Only actual new parts I could identify: a fuel filter and a fuel pump (~$35 parts) To make matters worse, zero-turn transmissions are typically not rebuildable--they're replaced outright--so his explanation didn't make sense from the start. When I confronted him with photos, he responded defensively with the usual "I've never had a complaint" line instead of addressing the facts. Bottom line: I was charged for work that was not performed. Based on my experience, this "business" is misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Avoid at all costs this guy is a fraud / scam artist. I texted him a few more times - no response. Called a few more times - he has not picked up my call.

Had I known this upfront, I'd like to think I would not have used the service. You may already see where this is going. On 12/20/24, my snowblower and generator were finally picked up from my home for service after two prior failed pickup attempts starting in early December. At pickup, I was required to provide a $50 "deposit" to a personal Venmo account under "David D" who I assume was the driver in the attached image. So is this $50 actually a delivery fee collected by a 3rd party? Shortly after, I received a parts quote from Patrick over the phone regarding my snowblower. This quote was in addition to the $50 "deposit", something that had never been disclosed beforehand. When I questioned him about it, he claimed he thought he had told me upfront. He had not. Patrick also promised that the work would be completed that same day if I paid immediately. It was not. I did not hear back from Patrick again until 1/6/25, when he told me that only after power washing the snowblower did he discover that both tires and a cable needed replacement. He then stated he would only charge me for the parts, not labor. However, when the unit was finally returned to me on 1/18/25, it was clear it had never been power washed or any new replacement parts of tires or a cable. Photos I had taken for the initial quote show the same dirt, the same tires, and no evidence of a new cable. The attached images show both pick up and then a closeup after delivery showing old tires and dirt where a quick power washing would have removed it. When I requested a receipt to confirm the services and parts provided, Patrick responded by text asking me, "How much did you pay me?" The invoice he later sent did not match the parts or amounts he had previously quoted by text. This would indicate that he is not keeping records and he likely just made up an invoice with random parts totaling what I told him I had paid. Additionally, when I declined service on my generator after receiving his quote, I was then informed there was a $50 diagnostic fee. This fee had never been disclosed upfront. I attempted to contact Patrick by both email and text to get his response to these issues, but he has not replied. Summary: - initial pickup took more than two weeks - quote for parts was misleading - declining a service may result in a "diagnostic fee" - was told that immediate payment meant imminent work, it did not - paid for additional parts that were not installed - they had my machine for almost 30 days - payments for the business are made to personal Venmo accounts - record keeping is suspect - no response if you have an issue

I've been going there for over 20 years. They are a FAMILY business, not a big box store with big employee turnover........ I also get my racing fuel from them for my lawnmower and snow blower which keeps my machines purring right along, because the quality of gas today SUCKS. And having your snow blower or lawnmower not running right because of the crap gas...........So I pay the big bucks and get the "good stuff" so I don't break down. Yes, expensive for the fuel but worth every cent vs. having a faltering fuel system when you need it most and having to drain the whole fuel system whether you are DIY'ers or having to haul it to the shop if not!! These small engines NEED at least high test (91 octane) to run well but when you're pumping 91 into your container at the gas stations, you're probably getting 1 1/2 gallons of 87 octane before the blended fuel lines actually give you 91, so you're not getting "good" gas. I'm grateful that I have a power equipment shop like this for my Honda machines........ BEST

If you do all this, sure, go to him. My first interaction was ok. I figured rough around the edges but I wanted my tractor fixed. It went well without problem. He offered to drop it off and I thought that was very accommodating. My next experience I dropped off 3 push mowers to get new spark plugs. Days went by, I finally got in touch. He told me to come down. I did.....1st mistake! When I got there he was alone. His jokes and attitude was offensive. Rough around the edges was an understatement! He told me about his divorce, his whole life, what he likes etc.... you see where this is going. I sat there silently and finally asked how much I owe him. Repeatedly... When he picked up on the fact the I wasn't interested he the told me 400$ that's outrageous!!! Back and fourth we went for an hour. Way too much time spent at this place! Finally agreeing on giving him the least expensive mower to sell and make the money I owed him. Then the other two mowers were mine. Seemed ok, even though 3 spark plugs shouldn't even with labour be 400$, but how did I know. The arrangement seemed ok. I waited weeks, he never called. When I finally did get in touch, he stated he sold them all. You get the point.... Be careful! Don't let your wives, daughters, sisters go there alone. Really a place to avoid! There are better mechanics out there that don't involve a drunk, drug addict that steals clients equipment after he figures out you wont be with him. Truly a sick man ..... Feel free to contact me if you have any questions......
