Had a plumber out and took him longer than I'd expect, plus he said he had to reset our toilet in the master bath. Said he couldn't get his snake to make the bend. Long story short, couple months down the road, drains are backing up again. This time I went under the house to check where the blockage was. The drains should have never passed inspection when the house was first built but they've worked for 20 years prior to use buying it 3 years ago. I pulled the clean out plug after draining the main line and looked towards the turn to the lateral that exits the foundation to the septic tank. I could see the end of the plumbers snake broken off at the 90. I ended up cutting out a 10' section after the 90 and found that the plumber hadn't even cleared the worst of the obstruction. Had one of their managers come out to look at the job and he confirmed the snake head was one of theirs. Saw what I cleared out to make my drains work again and verified the tech should have scoped to verify all was clear and didn't....all of this we were charged $1000 for crap work. Asked him to give me a price on fixing a couple of problems with the drains that shouldn't have ever passed the building inspection, let alone the inspection we had when we bought the home. He said they would knock off the labor as the job their plumber had done was not up to their expectations. Yeah sorry guys....I'm not going to give you another $1000 for something I'm going to do for $150. Got a call from a gal at their office on the 7th of October asking if I had looked at their proposal? I laughed and said "the guy that came out and said they had done a piss poor job said they'd just charge me for materials, as the work performed before wasn't good at all". I told her I'd rather right this review than pay you guys another dime to tip me off. She said that the manager/head guy would get in touch with me the next week as he was out of town this week. I said fine, I'll wait for his call.... Again, that call was the 7th of October...it's now the 10th of November and not a word. I've been busy and my drains are working as best they can so I waited. Done waiting and here is my review.... I would hire these guys ever again..burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me. Rather than attempting to help contain the water or even providing something to clean up the mess, he simply went outside and left me to deal with it. Now, in addition to paying for plumbing services, I'm facing the cost of replacing my flooring due to the damage. I understand that accidents can happen, but the lack of urgency, concern, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company if you're looking for a plumbing service that treats your home with care.

We've had one minor issue of a drain but again Chris was there within the day we called about the problem. Recently we started to build a new home and had Chris come in to get a second opinion on the HVAC that was install. After speaking with Chris we ended up having the system completely redone with him and not using the sub-contractor originally used because of poor work and being way over charged. Chris saved us thousands of dollars and was in the end able to get us a better system and unit. We will continue to use Chris and his company and recommend him highly to anyone.

The owner was contacted about the problem and promised to correct the issue. The ductwork was install on April 13th and its now June 15th with no issues resolved. The owner on two occasions promised to come himself to correct the problem but didn't show. Nor did he call to apologize for the inconvenience he had caused. If you want a professional, reliable company with great customer service then this isn't the one. Find someone else.

It was a cold day during Thanksgiving week, I had family staying from out of town and we had no heat. After a week plus, due to insurance red tape, I still didn't have heat, insurance said the unit could be repaired. I was recommended: Simply Service Company. Brian came out and fixed a minor part and had it running in no time for a relatively small price in comparison (I cancelled my Lee Company plan, garbage company). Second: I needed to have a mini split system unit moved and the condenser unit put on a pad, Brian came back out, assessed, gave me a price, and I agreed to have the work done. Again, I could not be more impressed with the work Brian did. It's very hard to get good, clean, professional work done these days. Simply Service and Brian do just that, time and again. Brian's attention to detail and work ethic is second to none. He worked until it was completed, and perfect, and for the price quoted with a smile on his face -- even though it was damn cold out and the sun had set hours before completion. I have used Parker Heating and Cooling several times over the years for routine HVAC service and…read moremaintenance, and I have always been impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, and quality of work. When my HVAC system failed, they were the first company I called. They responded promptly, confirmed that my unit needed to be replaced, and provided an estimate. I obtained a couple of additional quotes for comparison, and Parker's estimate was by far the highest. Even so, because of my positive experiences with them in the past, I chose to move forward with their installation. I was without heating and cooling for approximately two weeks while waiting for my scheduled installation. The day before the installation, I was contacted and informed that it would need to be postponed by two additional days because another customer's installation had not been completed, leaving that customer without service. While the delay was inconvenient, I understood the situation. The installation itself was completed professionally, and I was very pleased with the quality of the workmanship. Unfortunately, my experience after the installation has been extremely disappointing. Mike with Parker Heating and Cooling informed me that I qualified for two separate rebates based on my new system and assured me that he would complete and submit all of the required paperwork on my behalf. It has now been more than three months since the installation, and I have received no information or updates regarding either rebate. I have attempted to contact Mike several times, but he has not returned my calls. While I have no complaints about the quality of the installation or the technical expertise of the company, customer service after the sale is just as important. Failing to follow through on promised rebate paperwork and then refusing to communicate with a customer has left me very disappointed. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Parker Heating and Cooling despite the quality of their installation work.

We called Martins to get a quote on replacing some plumbing fixtures and supply lines in both bathrooms because the cheapest "PEX" fittings and plastic supply lines available had started to leak. The receptionist at Martins said that the guys there like to start early and asked if 7:00am would be too early for an estimate quote to be done. At 7:00am on the dot, Martins' guy, Mike, was ringing our doorbell. In less than an hour, Mike gave us a written estimate and was ready to leave. We decided to use Martins to do the work and called the next morning to schedule the work to be done. A few day later, again at 7:00am, one of Martins' plumbers named Cody was parked in our driveway. In just over two hours Cody completed the work and was ready to go to the next job. Cody could not have been better. He was professional, friendly, very clean and neat, and left the bathroom's cabinets and counter-tops in excellent condition. Best of all, no leaks! I am glad to recommend Martins to anyone in need of plumbing jobs to be done.
