I cannot recommend Prodigy highly enough!! Last week, I had a mishap with a bottle of Metamucil and…read moremy kitchen sink, and Prodigy saved the day! The entire experience was great, top to bottom. My call was answered promptly, Mark (the owner of the company) patiently heard me explain my dilemma, and without judgment told me someone would be sent out to help within an hour. Not even 40 minutes later, Mark was at my door to asses the problem with my sink and garbage disposal. He wore shoe covers in my home, and kept all work areas clean and tidy. In minutes he had the problem fully diagnosed and had it all sorted out shortly after. He also gave me some recommendations for continuing garbage disposal maintenance. In the past, I've had repairmen be rude or ridicule for mistakes I've made with appliances, and this was the exact opposite experience. Thanks, Prodigy!

Disappointed with what I found after Powerhouse Plumbing Pros left…read more The plumbers were in the crawlspace installing plumbing for an addition. The installation of the new plumbing required the removal of some of the existing plumbing. Rather than placing a bucket or catch pan beneath the sections being cut out, they simply allowed the water to drain onto the plastic membrane in my encapsulated crawlspace. When I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work after they had left, I was greeted by puddles of standing water. There was clearly no attempt to catch the water as the pipes were cut, nor any effort to vacuum it up afterward with a shop vac, as I ultimately had to do myself. Another disappointment was finding that the cut-out sections of plumbing had simply been discarded in the crawlspace rather than removed from the work area. It gave the impression that they assumed most homeowners would never enter the crawlspace to see the mess left behind. Although I'm not a plumber, I'm at a loss as to why two additional 90-degree turns were added to the cold-water PEX line when the adjacent hot-water line was installed without them. While it's only two extra elbows, they appear unnecessary. In my opinion, two additional crimped PEX connections create two additional potential leak points. Details matter. A little more attention to workmanship and cleanup would have gone a long way.

Also was concern that they charge 265.00 just to come to your house. So they lady I talked to said there was a error in the pricing and that she would cut a check for 135.00. Well we received a invoice today saying that 400.00 was for sink basket and 60.00 for additional parts. So I checked out Home Depots and their sink baskets range form 12.00 to 20.00, and no check.
