If you want your mailbox filled with marketing literature from this company FOREVER, sign right up…read more I did use this company but since then I have requested in writing ten times to be taken off their mailing list. They are not good at listening or respecting my request. So I have decided to smile as they keep wasting their money. But I warn you they are extremely annoying at marketing.

It saddens me to write a review such as this, but it's important I do so. Last weekend I called MPP…read moreon Saturday because we had major issues with our toilets not flushing and the pipes leaking into the basement. One of their technicians came out, took a look in the bathrooms, around the house, and in the basement, only to claim there was nothing they could do for us without a total repiping job. Needless to say I was very upset and it wasn't until later in the week. I could find an independent plumber to come out and perform the necessary repairs, which took less than 90 minutes. After MPP's office manager texted me to follow up on the repiping estimate they had sent, I informed her of my displeasure, and asked specifically for the owner to call me. When that didn't happen, I called again with the same request. After four days, it was clear he had no intention of reaching out to me. I'm not sure what's going on with this business but their service and attitude are less than "professional"!

I contacted Stone's Plumbing, who said he would arrive between 10 and 11 am on Thursday. Twenty minutes before 10, he called to reschedule for the next morning between 10 and 11. When Friday arrived, I had to text Stone's Plumbing around 11:15 to confirm if he was still coming. He called me and said he couldn't make it and would reschedule for the next morning. I then called Mr. Rooter again, who had referred me to Panky. Panky assured me he would be able to get my drainage working that day. He understood the inconvenience of our situation as a family of 5. By 5pm, Panky had my septic tank pumped, and my house was draining properly. He helped explain how the septic system works and made sure we had proper drainage before he left. I am very grateful for him and his partner coming out and helping us. I would definitely call him again if I have any other issues or need a pump in the future.

***SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND ENERGY. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CHOICE ONE PLUMBING. ***…read more My 79-year-old widowed grandmother hired Choice One Plumbing after winter storms in East Tennessee left her without a working toilet for over a week. She was quoted $12,000 for the repair and signed a contract she could not read. We later learned this price was nearly double what other licensed plumbers in the area estimated for the same work. When I contacted the owner, Robert Rutherford, to ask about the large price discrepancy, he stated that the employee who provided the quote was "from California" and had used California pricing. Robert ultimately agreed to void the original contract and issue a new one, but only after the cost was challenged. The project itself took weeks to complete, with multiple missed return appointments and repeated promises that were not kept. After the job was finally finished, construction debris--including lumber and a ladder--was left throughout the yard. My elderly grandmother attempted to clean it up herself until I contacted the company again. Although I was told someone would come the next morning, no one arrived until I called back later that afternoon. Robert Rutherford portrays himself as a man of his word who puts his customers first, but his conduct--and the conduct of his employees--demonstrates the complete opposite. Overall, the experience was stressful, drawn out, and required constant follow-up to get basic commitments fulfilled. I would strongly encourage others to avoid this business entirely and find someone more reliable.
