Came out quickly and cleared out my drain like going to city sewer. Would definitely use again.

Voda Cleaning & Restoration - Chattanooga

Voda Cleaning & Restoration - Chattanooga

DO NOT USE VODA! This is going to be a long review. I waited…read moreuntil I secured other living arrangements to post this review. Keith Nash is highly insensitive, neglectful, and the tech who performed the 'job' here is a deceitful, lazy, liar. Voda advertises as being "experts" in mold removal. Less than a week of moving here, I had my eldest child stay with my mother to help my peace of mind when dealing with the presence of mold. The property here uses Voda as their vendor. Voda arrived Monday, September 14, 2026. I had something to handle early that morning and upon arriving back to the apartment, I interacted with the Voda technician parked outside my building. I let him know that I had my infant child and two dogs with me, and that I had no problem staying out in my car while he did what he was there to accomplish- remove the mold. I am inquisitive; I ask questions. I made sure to ask important questions to the technician, whom of which I do not remember his name due to the stress of this ordeal having caused me. He was quite reassuring with his responses and he certainly had me fooled at first. He informed me that the job "would take roughly an hour and a half" to complete. I proceeded to show him the before pictures of the inside of the air handler unit (plus the mold test) where the mold was coming from. I made it known how sick my family and I have been living here due to the presence of mold. He replies with, "Oh we see much worse". This issue was indeed a BIG DEAL to me as a mother of two children; one of which is an infant. His commentary was quite insensitive. My family has been sick while residing here because of the mold blowing throughout the apartment. I sat in my vehicle for roughly two hours waiting on this technician to complete his job. Upon finishing, he approaches the passenger side of my vehicle and states that he is finished. Of course I thank him because I try to be a pleasant and polite person. I then press him on the state of my apartment from the job he performed. He says verbatim, "I cleaned it, yes ma'am. I wiped everything down and did the best I could. I'm a man (chuckling as he says this part and what's next) and can only clean as well as a man you know? Like a husband, a father would?". Hmm, ok. I didn't know how to respond back but a nervous forced laugh right back at him and ask, "So everything is clear? It's clean now? Is it safe for me and my child and dogs to come back inside? To be breathing in the solution used to treat the mold?" He replies, "Oh yes ma'am". I still thank him for his time and effort, even though I had not yet stepped one foot inside. That was until he starts to pull away to leave when I walk into my apartment. I am beyond appalled at what I walked into. So according to him he "wiped everything down" remember? The pictures I've included with this review are proof he lied. Absolutely NOTHING was wiped down or cleaned except for spot cleaning the exposed carpet below the vents in the bedrooms. The vents weren't even placed back on their respected places correctly; they were put upside down. There is no way he covered any vent according to standard procedures when blowing out the vents because DUST, MOLD, and DEBRIS were ON EVERY SINGLE SURFACE OF MY HOME. Every crick, cranny, crack, groove, surface, EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE. I am beyond DISGUSTED. When I say everywhere I literally mean everything was covered with this nasty crap. And this company calls themselves professionals!? Every door, every wall, every baseboard, my bed, my BABY'S bed, my other child's mattress; everything has been tainted. I called my mother immediately after walking inside following the tech's leave and she was livid. She called Voda on my behalf because I physically could not talk due to how hysterical I was with upset. She calls and gets the owner Keith Nash on the phone and he mentioned to her how 'I could purchase an air filtration system from them to help with the mold problem'. Keith, you have the audacity to respond back by trying to sell me something after YOUR company and YOUR employee screws up!? The property here paid you, but does it matter who funded your company? No. You are deceptive about what your business advertises as being professionals at. I attempted an honest phone call with you one on one. I called and was pushed aside because you don't care. You had zero intent on talking to me once having spoken to my mother. You ignored me. That's fine. What you can't ignore is this review and every single platform I post this to. What happened inside of my apartment was just wrong. And you Keith, refuse to take responsibility for that. Not a single apology made! Go ahead and give my review a reply Keith! Let's see what you try to manipulate to cover YOUR company's screwup! This is a serious issue when it comes to mine and my family's health! We have been sick before and especially after Voda doing their "job". My Google review shows picture evidence of what Voda caused.

Voda of Chattanooga was absolutely the worst experience I could have had as a first time homeowner…read morewith one of our first major issues. They did not complete the work correctly, have left my house full of mold and not rectified anything. They took our insurance money and left us to start completely over from scratch with another company. Either they weren't equipped for this big of a job (which they should have spoken up and said something) or just wanted to cash in on our insurance check. Either way they got the money and get got nothing productive from them. I called them because water was leaking out of my electric socket. They came out the next day and we can to an agreement they would tear up my wall determine where any and all active water leaks were. The following day they tore up roughly 25 feet of my wall and proceeded to tell me there were no active leaks... But that doesn't make sense since water was just leaking out the other day. So they came back out and quickly looked again where they did find one hole in my exterior of my home. But this was on the furthest right side taking up only 5 feet of the 25 feet they tore up that read wet. There is no way this could have wet the other area and this was very low on the wall and there were very high parts wet. They plugged this hole so it would not continue to leak. They treated for mold and replacedy insulation. They assured me there were no other active leaks and they must have been fixed when I replaced windows 6 months prior (but then why were my walls inside still wet) when the insurance inspector came out he also didn't understand how the other 20 feet became wet and was STILL wet. This greatly messed with the amount insurance paid out. Insurance and Voda could not come to an agreement on the cost to fix my house. Insurance also advised me to get a second opinion before doing the build back and filing for anymore insurance money. They felt Voda was well over priced based on the information they had. The second opinion took us some time as we ended up really sick. Finally after a few weeks and reaching out to some companies we found someone to come out and do a second opinion on pricing. Upon his inspection he found not only is that 5 foot section still leaking but there are ACTIVE leaks on the 20 foot section that VODA swore there was none. So now all the new insulation is ruined. My walls are full of mold, water is still pouring into my home. Insurance will not pay more as they state this is a workmanship issue and Voda needs to fix it. So here I am at square one. I called the owner Keith Nash who tol me he would call around to get an inspector to help locate the leaks at this point and contact me back by the end of day. That was almost 2 months ago and he never contacted us back. Please save yourself time, money,l and stress and do not use this company.

We…read morehad a house fire and ServPro/Green Team Restorations was sent out to clean up and repair our house. We had our stuff packed up and moved out so ServPro could clean our belongings from the fire as well as repair and replace damage done to the kitchen. The reconstruction was a nightmare. Craig "Hoss" Taylor and his crew were horrible. Not only was Craig the rudest, most unprofessional person to speak to, his crew did a terrible job. the painters cut every corner they could from NOT priming my walls as they were instructed to do, to not removing mirrors or hardware to paint behind,to not using drop cloths and making a huge mess in every room.. yet they certainly billed for this stuff! I would recommend every customer to go through any invoice from ServPro with a fine tooth comb because these con artists will sneak in all kinds of extra charges. Once I addressed Craig about the horrible job and corners they were cutting he told me it was my word against the painters word (i even had multiple pictures proving everything) and told me if I had a problem I could address the paint crew myself! Which I did, but I should not have been asked to do this. That is the job of the manager or supervisor, not the client. Extremely unprofessional. Then the crew unhooked my dishwasher but didn't cap any of the pipes, leaving a dripping hose laying on my kitchen floor that soaked it, and Craig had the audacity to tell me I needed to make ANOTHER insurance claim because there was a leak in my kitchen.. There was not a leak, it was his crews negligence and poor working habits. The crew also clogged both of my toilets.. After the paint job was finished they were supposed to replace all of our outlet swatch plates, but they didn't. They left every outlet and light switch in my house exposed, but they certainly billed my insurance for every outlet and light switch swatch plate AND were indeed paid over $200 for these outlet/light plates! However I still have not received any outlet/light switch covers and it has been 4 months after they finished the paint job. I have been asking managers and supervisors to pay me back for these outlet plates and instead of doing that they tried to send a guy out on January 5 2023 to count and replace the outlets covers, but the paint job was finished in July 2022 I obviously replaced them myself before freaking January 2023! I just want to be paid back for them since servepro was paid for them anyways (but like I said these guys are crooks!) As for the pack out, once they returned our stuff in august I noticed multiple large items were missing. I immediately reached out to Greg Hocking to let him know we were missing three dressers as well as a bunch of linens (curtains, pillows etc) and some other things. He told me they broke the dressers during the move, okay why was I not informed of this until now? They just didn't return these items and weren't going to say anything until I asked where my stuff was?! As for the other items, He told me he would look into them and provide the necessary information to my insurance so I could be reimbursed and replace them. Well over four months went by before he was able to look into this and provide proof (something that should've only taken a day to look into!) plus I had to call and email many many times and speak with supervisors to get him to even do that. Every time I reached out to the company for resolutions I have been given the run around. As bad as a house fire or flood can be, dealing with ServPro was worse. Do not use this company.

I told Shane which baseboards and trim we wanted, which was wood, and he gave us particleboard. I did not notice it until after they had started to install it, and my wife and I made the decision to keep it since the rebuild was taking much longer than Shane had told me. I told him about it and how unhappy I was about it. He still tried to used the same crap as crown molding. There were solid wood cabinets that were taken out and replaced with cabinets made of plywood. On August 29th, we were told the cabinets were in product and it would be two more weeks. We were told the same thing on September 11th. After my wife decided that since we kept getting the runaround on when the cabinets were going to be installed, if they were not installed by September 28th, we would go with someone else for the cabinets. The cabinets were finally installed on September 29th. They had since June 11th to build them. The shelves are not level, and appear to me to be cheaply made. Shane measured the bathroom cabinets at least twice and he still got the countertop wrong. All I got from Shane was him passing the buck. Even though he is the owner, he did not take responsibility for anything. His painters trashed our front porch. There are scrape marks and spilt paint on the porch. They did not care about our furniture. They used an antique chair as a step stool until we took it out of the house. They sprayed our antique China cabinet with paint. They missed several pieces of trim and baseboard. There are many areas of the house where there is overpaint from the walls to the ceiling, cabinets, and even on our furniture.. There is overpaint on the doors where there should not have been paint. Shane claimed to be a general contractor, even though he does not have a general contractor license. He had the audacity to go to my daughters work and interrogate her on my schedule and comings and goings. Then he asked her if she was stupid. This is all on camera and if you would like to see the footage, please email me at nmsphinders@gmail.com. Then I got the bill from GreenFrog. I went line by line and there were many things that they said they did, that they didn't, charged for things that we provided, and double charged for things they did for a total discrepancy of over $8000. If you would like the spreadsheet, please email me as I cannot attach it to the review. Connie is no better. She accused me of calling her names, which I didn't. She backed off that after I told her that the conversation was recorded. She claimed she went to my daughter's work to view the video of Shane asking my daughter if she was stupid, which she never did. She denied Shane said this, which he obviously did. These owners never took responsibility and always made excuses.

He gave me a price of $4,432.64 to repair the drain field. He said if the repair did not work, I would need a new field. I paid him $2,216.32 to start the job. Seth told me after a few hours that I would need a complete new field. Seth gave me a price of $14,411.72 to install 300 feet of new drain field. I asked him if the $2,216.32 I already paid would go towards the new field. Seth said NO. So my new drain field would cost me $16,628.04. I needed it done and assumed this was the going rate since a new roof cost me a arm & leg. So Seth did the job. After the job was completed I showed Seth a issue with the bathtub drain, which was the start of this nightmare with the basement bathroom. He said that a pipe was cracked under the cement and it would have to be repaired. Seth gave me a price of $17,839.16 (yes you read that correctly) to repair the pipe under the concrete floor and he said it would take 1 -2 weeks to complete.I contacted my insurance guy ref this and he said I need two other quotes. I had two other plumbers come out to quote me for the basement floor plumber issue. I asked the first plumber what he would have charged me for the drain field and he said $10,000.00. He was supposed to send a quote over for the repair in the floor and never did. The second plumber I contacted did come out. I asked what he would have charged me for a new drain field and he said he just did a 250 foot field for $7,000.00 He quoted me a price of $8,000.00 to repair the pipe under the concrete. I chose him and it took 1 day! In looking into Seth and Emergency No More Septic LLC after my experience, I found reports of similar complaints involving high charges and permit issues. Based on my own experience, I believe my case raises many of the same concerns. I want to point out that Seth NEVER came back out to grade my drain field. He was paid in full also. I called his office and left several messages and texts. I did speak to his wife Candy twice. The first time she said that they where closed because of the publicity of him dumping his septic waste in the National Forest. I told her its funny that you say you are closed when you are picking up supplies at the plumbing house. The other time I spoke to her and told her to refund me $1,500.00 cause that is what I will have to pay for someone to come out. She said that she was going to consult her attorney and get back with me the next day, which she did not. I have all calls recorded and also have texts. I warn anyone that you need to stay clear of Seth Plaster from doing any work for you. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State of Tennessee
