By Saturday I was eating hamburgers! But on Sunday I had a very nagging, somewhat painful aching in one of the extraction sites. The likely suspect? Dry socket. I went to Dr. Lindquist's office the next morning but had to schedule an appointment for that day. No big deal, I saw him later that day and he put a medicated dressing in the problematic socket. The dressing tasted awful for about 10 minutes (it's bathed in oil of cloves, which is great for toothache but tastes really bitter) but it also killed the pain which never came back. The next day another socket started acting up, and today when I came in to have that first dressing replaced the nurse also put a dressing in this other socket. So yeah, I've had a very good post-operative experience with Dr. Lindquist and his very good staff. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to have their wisdom teeth removed.

She has really went above and beyond with professionalism and customer service as a new client. It took 12 visits for Dr. Henry to replace one crown that I'm not even sure needed to be replaced…read more The first replacement took four visits because the color wasn't right. Then, at my annual exam, he told me it had been installed incorrectly and offered to replace it at no charge. That replacement took another eight visits. The temporary cracked three times, I had to go to a dental lab in Springfield twice for color matching, and the final crown was wrong and had to be redone. Look, I get it -- humans make mistakes and sometimes things happen that are out of our control. But 12 visits? If you've never had a crown, this is not a normal experience. I've also had concerns about their billing. On one occasion, I was quoted one amount for unrelated dental work, then later received a bill with additional charges. When I called for an explanation, I was told the person who gave me the quote was no longer employed there and had given me the wrong pricing. Convenient. At my last cleaning, I also specifically asked the hygienist not to use the water sprayer because I'm sensitive to the vibration. She used it anyway, despite my request, and it was very uncomfortable. That said, I did have one very positive experience a few years ago when I chipped a front tooth. They saw me the next day as an emergency patient, and a different dentist in the practice repaired it beautifully. Despite that one positive experience, I will not be returning.

No wait, better than good. He's freaking GREAT. The day I met Dr. Wenk was one of the worst days of my entire life. I was biking quickly down a steep hill in Georgetown when my brakes locked on loose gravel. At the bottom of the hill the road ended and the bike crashed into the sidewalk at high-speed. Unfortunately, I broke the fall with my face. Sometime later a woman in an SUV came driving by and jumped out. She told her kids they were taking a detour and placed my bloody messy self in her passenger seat. When we arrived at Dr. Wenk's, he was in the middle of a staff seminar but decided to postpone it, instead devoting the rest of the afternoon to putting humpty dumpty (me) back together again. After x-raying my jaw to look for fractures, he and his incredible staff gently cleaned away all the blood and debris before spending the next 4 hours reconstructing my teeth. I couldn't speak but they made sure I could communicate with them anyway and that I understood everything that was going on. My lip had split open but Dr. Wenk opted to tape it closed without stitches so I wouldn't have a scar. That was four years ago and I've been going to him ever since. At all times he is calm but realistic, easygoing but professional. His dental practice also goes out of its way to keep current with up-to-date techniques and technology. When my dental nerves act up from the accident, Dr. Wenk is a phone call away. He won't recommend any procedure he doesn't think you really need. I get postcard and phone reminders to come in for my cleanings, which are thorough, efficient, and fast. Also, though it's a busy office and people come in just twice a year, his staff recalls everyone's teeth with remarkable detail (crowns, fillings, sensitive gums - they remember it all). As I lay barely conscious in her passenger seat, I remember my SUV 'guardian angel' had told me she was taking me to the best dentist in the world. She definitely wasn't lying.

Dr. Arbuckle started the procedure by administering laughing gas and handing me the TV remote (there are TVs at every chair). A couple minutes later, I was feeling wonderful and I didn't care or feel any fear. I must have completely zoned out because next thing I knew, it was over. That's a perfect dental experience in my opinion! I have been going to Dr. Arbuckle ever since and have no need to look for a new dentist.

All I can say is that Dr. Morabito is the most competent, knowledgeable, welcoming, warm, and understanding dental provider I have EVER worked with. He and his staff have gone out of their way to let me know that I am a valued patient, and to treat my smile as if it was their own. On the one hand I always had a good experience with the hygienists and there have been few issues with insurance. I used to see Dr. Bunin who I thought was great but he left to go to another firm. Initially, I did find Dr. Argentieri to be somewhat abrasive, however, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I have always gotten along with him just fine. Both my husband and I have had extensive work done there and would get my teeth cleaned twice a year. They always took the time to take my blood pressure and it always felt like they cared about their patients. Until recently. I had an appointment for a regular cleaning but I had to cancel it because I had to work at the last minute. I am a real estate agent and I was called to show a house about an hour away the same morning of my appointment. I was not going to be able to get back in time for my appointment. It was an impossible situation because my client works at night so she was not going to be able to view the home in the evening and she couldn't schedule it for another day. I tried. Karen, whom I had never met before, was rude to me over the phone. She told me that since it was inside 24 hours (it was about 20 hours), I would be charged a missed appointment fee. In six years I was NEVER charged a missed appointment fee. NEVER. I'm sure it must have happened at least once due to the nature of my job, but I had never been charged for it. I was stunned. She would not talk to me, she just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I live about 5 minutes away so I drove over there to speak to her directly. I could not believe I was being treated that way after being a patient for so long. She showed ZERO understanding about my job and could not answer why, after six years I was suddenly being charged this fee. I wasn't even aware that there WAS a missed appointment fee because I had never been charged one before. I tried to be reasonable with her. TBH, I just wanted her to tell me that they would not charge me this time, since there was no warning, but with the understanding that going forward, I would be charged, but no. She just kept repeating that it was policy and insisted that I would be charged for it. She had no regard for how long I'd been a customer nor how much $ we'd spent there over the years. It was really disgusting the way she treated me. THEN, to make matters worse, she told me that she was cancelling all my future cleaning appointments and that the only way they would see me again is if I came in as a walk in. (This woman does not know the meaning of negotiation nor goodwill.) This happened several months ago but I was prompted to write this review because my husband (we are separated) recently had work done there and the bills still come to the house. I noticed that the $110 charge is still on the bill, so it reminded me of what happened and that there has obviously been no resolution. I was very comfortable and happy going there for over six years, happy with Drs. A and C and the two hygienists that I have seen over the years. But Karen ruined everything for me.

I explained my pain and she assured me they would take care of it. After calling at 8 on a Monday morning, they took me at 10. Dr. Argentieri evaluated me and ended up extracting a wisdom tooth. He was very friendly and explained everything he did. I was worried about the cost, so I asked and before they began anything he had the front desk total my expenses for the procedure. Dr. A noticed some other issues while I was there that day, and I've since been back and have been very satisfied with their work.
