We had a system replaced by them, and something always fails every few months and it was never what they replaced (heat or air conditioning) so nothing was under warranty. For a place that has so many parts, we always have to wait for a few days for parts to come in. They are not reliable, our air conditioning failed a week ago and we have to pay around $900 for that and it just failed again and they are charging us $250 for diagnostic and we do not know how much the part will be until Monday. They said the motherboard was fried and we had to replace the whole system. If you are okay with calling them frequently for something to fail and waiting a few cold nights or hot days for them to get the part, this is the company you want to do business with. This business seems too shady. We called a different (Oak Creek Heating and Cooling) they were able to find the source and were able to fix it for under $90. Oak Creek Heating and Cooking seems more experienced and knowledgeable. I will be going with them from now on. read more

I've been using Roth for probably 30 years. Everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful. They moved my furnace from my attic to a closet in my spare room making it easier for me to change filters and much easier for them to service. I had a wonderful experience with Roth. My AC went out at 3:30PM on a Friday afternoon. With the hottest week of the year coming up I called Roth - as they were the number the previous homeowners left for us. They were able to send out a technician that afternoon (mind you their day ended at 4:30) The gentleman was extremely genuine * He showed me what was wrong with my unit, comparing the worn part to a new part * He wore a mask - and was very cognizant of social distancing * He gave us clear quotes and showed us our options * He fixed our unit very efficiently and ensured that our thermostat showed the temperature in the house going down (I use Nest so I could monitor it easily) before departing I highly suggest using Roth. read more

Roth was a trusted company for us for years. Until just recently. We called for service when our furnace went out. They had it up and running and it was a fair price but they gave us a bad part that made a lot of noise in our home. They came back to remedy the noise ( a new tech was sent). While the new tech was there he explained that the previous tech did something wrong and he would "fix "it. Well turns out he turned out furnace speed way down. For weeks after he left we were wondering why we were always cold and putting on a sweater. We brought a new company in to look and sure enough the furnace was set to operate at a lesser level. If you are looking for service of a mobile home furnace, do NOT call these guys. They told me that I needed a new furnace due to a cracked heat exchanger and that there was only one model furnace that they have for mobile homes. I was in shock since I asked before hand if they knew about and have repaired mobile homes. Luckily I was smart and got a second opinion. Because the next company informed me that the particular furnace in my home did not have a heat exchanger in the normal sense and did not have any cracks. They repaired the 2 parts needed for less than a fifth the cost of a new furnace. My air compressor went out and water pooled all over the floor! I called Roth heating and cooling they sent David VIEGUT to give estimate that day to give estimate of the damages! Turns out my air conditioner was 28 years old and toasted he explained all the benefits of buying new vs repair of such old unit! By going up to energy saving unit I would save up to 50-60% a month that's significant for my family we pay 300-400! Also there was rebate for your taxes and money savings for paying cash then charging your account! We went with Lenox that was the same model of our furnace. And Lenox was doing a promotion by including a 10 year warranty and they included a top of the line thermostat that we would have purchased extra! All In all the great service and professional installation will save me thousands over the lifetime of our home! We can't thank David VIEGUT and the installers for all there help and FAST service it was 90 degrees all week and they rushed to find us the model that fit our needs and installed it right away! Buyer beware! Make sure you get a WRITTEN estimate from them. My wife was told "$400" for a defective water tank replacement and that turned into $528 bill (with tax). After discussing this with them, they agreed to $400 w/ tax, but then slipped back in an $82 "diagnostic fee" that was never mentioned at the time of service and sent a slightly reduced bill - but not $400 w/tax. We are not using them ever again. read more

We had Roth come out over the winter when our furnace was on its way out. At that time, Tim was was our sales rep (super nice guy). Unfortunately we ended up going with Capital Heating & Cooling for the new furnace because they claimed that they would match everything Roth was offering and get out sooner. None of this was true and we really regretted not going with Roth. Fast forward to yesterday when our AC went out, I called Capital who was rude over the phone and going to charge me nearly $200 to come out to look at our ac two days later. Immediately I called Roth, the woman who answered the phone was so nice, and the cost to get a tech out within 24 hours was less than half the price. Ron the service professional took a look at our furnace and caught an issue that was dismissed by Capital, fixed that, and then listened to me when I explained that I know our ac is old but I really want to hold off on replacing it entirely until next summer if at all possible because we just can't afford it now. Ron was able to get it up and running and never once tried to pressure us into a new system. He was a genuinely nice guy and you can tell he takes pride in his work. When we do have to replace our AC, we WILL be using Roth. read more

Have had nothing but problems this go around with Roth Heating. Had them out when our air didn't work, 4 year old unit, water at base of unit and pipes freezing up, said unit was slightly low and recharged it and "could be plugged filter" $233.38 Then heating season starts, water at base of unit again, found leak from furnace drain, put on some hose clamps and cleaned the drain house 11/20 $99.26 12/18 no heat again, called, was told over the phone it was probably plugged drain lines, told them they where cleaned less than a month ago and can they get someone out here to fix this furnace correctly. Came out and said it was a weak flame signal and replaced the flame sensor, came home that very night and no heat. Next day they come out and find that the door safety switch is not making contact to ignite the unit, this tech found this by an led light per Diane billed $204.86 when called to complain about being charged for a part we didn't need they were so gracious to take off the 44.00 for the part but not the $150.00 to put it in, plus we have a furnace that was not repaired with a new safety switch...NO they just by passed the safety switch and never fixed it properly. Would never recommend this company again nor use them again for any heating or AC work. read more
