    If you have a choice I wouldn't recommend HME Specialists LLC…read more My first experience with HME was when they sent us home from the hospital with a heavy suitcase sized oxygen concentrator, that I had to unload from my car...and the POS was broken! HME took 2 more trips to get a working oxygen concentrator delivered--they actually said there wasn't a working concentrator available. This got resolved after a call to our insurance company. Really didn't think it could get worse--Last call to HME for replacement oxygen tanks we were notified there was no home delivery available. We had to drive to HME to exchange our empty tanks, the receptionist helped unload 12 tanks--none of the uniformed guys helped. No surprise--the billing is a mess, invoices are very disorganized and they continue billing for services not processed through insurance. When you call "Billing Questions" at (505) 888-6500 x2000 the only option is to leave a voicemail--they never return messages.

    I needed CPAP supplies since March. They kept telling me my doctor was not sending my prescription…read moreover. Come to find out. My doctor has sent over clinical notes from my visit which had my prescription in it. They never bothered to look and read through the notes. They figured that my doctor never sent a prescription over. So finally after 2 months of waiting. An awesome wonderful worker named Mark finally helped me. I'm hoping things go through. I did get a message telling me I should be getting my supplies in about 3 to 5 days. Hopefully things go well I get my supplies.
