PLUS there's a splash pad water fountain wet area! That part is not open year round. I mean it's open, but the fountains aren't running in the winter. All this is surrounded by covered picnic tables, very large grassy areas, walking paths covered by trees. Car parking. Bicycle parking. Clean bathrooms. Friendly clientele. We entered from the east side of the park where there is pedestrian access. On the west side of the park near the vehicle entrance, there is a skate park! And 4 half basketball courts, plus a boulder, I guess for bouldering.

Although it is at a Christian church, they welcome everyone for FREE! There is a HUGE multi-level play structure with climbing obstacles, crawling tubes, a cargo net bridge, tube slides, lookout observation windows, and more! The playground is cleverly decorated with douglas fir trees, a sun, and a 3-story tall mural! The large play structure is for ages 3-11. Another small structure and foam pads are for infants to 3 years. They also have foosball and air hockey tables. They even sell snacks! The bathroom is clean and there are step stools for the toilet and water fountains. Parents are not allowed on the play structure, but there are tables to sit and watch or visit with others. Shoes are not allowed and socks are required in most of the floor, so there's cubby holes to store them. It's all FREE and it looks like they have a donation box in case you want to help contribute to the maintenance and whatnot. I think it's all volunteers who attend the playground, so be nice and show your appreciation. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

When we moved five years ago to Wilsonville, one of the highlights of this town are its open spaces and how family-friendly it is. This is just one of many parks in town. It's expansive too! It is located right across the street from the library and they offer so much-- water play (Murase Plaza), structured play, event spaces, nature play, tennis courts, soccer and baseball field, skate park, nature trails, disc golf, and fishing/boat dock. It is also stunning during the fall season with the trees in orange, red, and yellow. Parks and Rec are always maintaining this place. The latest addition to the park is the natural playground, and that is where we took our toddler recently. She LOVED it. She made some friends pretending to fish in the canoe and hang out in the teepees. The sand pit is a big hit too. Whether you're a family visiting or a local, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Been coming to this park for years with my daughter. Every time I come with my daughter over the…read moreyears things are still torn up and broken. A slide that was cracked 2 years ago now has a sharp half edge at the bottom while the other half is missing. The pad under the equipment is torn to hell and needs to be replaced. All the swings except 1 work and that's my daughter's favorite things. Much like the dilapidated and old park near the aquatic center rather than remove the broken crap they leave it for kids. There are potholes in the mat under equipment everywhere. Its a dangerous hazard. The actual jungle gym is nice, but everything else is garbage. Moss and mud are underneath things. Someone needs to fully repair the ground, change the underneath to chips maybe, replace the swings, replace the slide and add the seat back to the helicopter. Evergreen is a shithole and this eye sore is no good for my daughter. Talk about a company that doesn't care.

This park is a total gem--thoughtfully designed, beautifully shaded, and perfect for families. There are plenty of swings and a great variety of play equipment to keep kids engaged for hours. One of the things I appreciated most was the visibility--there's seating thoughtfully placed all around the park, so no matter where your child is playing, you can easily keep an eye on them. There's even a grassy area under the trees where you can lay out a blanket and relax. Even on a hot day, the metal slides stayed cool thanks to the shade, which is a rare and welcome surprise! The kids there were all friendly, and the parents seemed attentive and involved, creating a really positive, safe vibe. My kids had a blast and would've stayed much longer if I hadn't forgotten snacks--lesson learned! We'll definitely be back, this time with a picnic and more time to explore.

This park can confidently be used year-round as the trees provide ample shade from the heat of the sun's rays in the summer, and the type of ground cover present on the trails helps to prevent them from becoming overly muddy throughout the rainy winters. On a side note, make sure to be heads up if using the cross walk on the trail that crosses Tigard Street as the surrounding trees can sometimes make it difficult for oncoming traffic to clearly see pedestrians, so they may fail to slow down. Always better to be safe than sorry... But overall, A++ for this little piece of backyard paradise.
