Housekeeping came daily to clean. Beds were so comfy. Bathroom was very big. We were provided with robes and flip flops. Now let's talk about Thermal Spa Village. There were so many hot tubs, saunas and meditation rooms everywhere in the village. I never felt like it was too crowded. It was open from 8:00am-10:00pm daily. There is a river running through the property very scenic and peaceful. I don't think we even went to every spa steam room or sauna. It was just so much to experience. Now the spa also offered other services at an additional price. Breakfast was included with the purchase of our cottage. There were two restaurants that served breakfast. Our favorite was The Conservatory because they offered a la carte breakfast items and it was beautiful inside. They also have a Fratellis Italian restaurant on site and bar/ pub on site as well. So as mentioned my sister got married here. She was married in a small chapel called the Ghost House. Then they had the reception in the 4 Seasons reception hall adjacent to the hotel. It was very nice. There was comfortable seating. The food for the wedding was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite and I had the vegetarian dishes. The food, although it felt like we were waiting a while after ordering, was absolutely delicious. We had chicken and coleslaw, tuna and onion and egg and onion sandwiches, they were well filled and really tasty. The scones and tray bakes were really fresh. They had family films for the kids in a meeting room which give my daughter something to look forward to, which was nice. The food was amazing the two days we stayed and the breakfast was lovely to, although I will say this if u go down half and hour before breakfast finishes be prepared for slim pickings. The living well part is pretty straight forward, a nice sized pool and changing area and also a sauna and steam room, and for the fitness freaks the gym is OK it's more for runners not weight lifters. Our room was a nice size for what we needed and the view from the window was beautiful as we were looking over the whole golf course and driving range. I will definitely be back soon.

I checked in this afternoon and a wedding reception was taking place in one of the buildings. The staff was very friendly and helped get me settled in a bit early. I like the brick interior of the hallways. I enjoyed just walking around the grounds. It was gusty winds and a misty rain in the air, but coming from Arizona, that is a welcome sight. I ordered room service and although it was slightly longer than the 30 minutes they indicated, the food was great. I had the Chicken Tikka Marsala and my friend the beef lasagna with salad. I ordered Coke Zero, but was brought Diet Coke. Not too big of a deal, but not correct. For dessert, I went with the chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream. It also came with chocolate pudding that could be added to the cake. Damn, it was good! Happy finish indeed! The one thing that is a little odd is the bed situation. I ordered 2 queen beds and it more closely resembles two cots with wheels. Let's just say that you couldn't really have much fun, if you know what I mean. If you are not overly close with person/people sharing your room, you will be after staying here. While the beds are separate, they are side by side and basically one large bed.

One note, regarding the cubicles in the mens toilets. They are so narrow and small, they are almost impossible to use. The inward opening door all but brushes the front of the toilet pedestal and the only way of closing the door while inside would seem to be stand on top of the toilet. Perhaps outward opening doors would be a solution ?
