Visited the Tullyglass House hotel last Sunday for a carvery.
As my fellow yelpians have decreed this place does a mean carvery. If you love carvery, you will love it here. There is a really great selection of hot & cold starters to choose from. or if you fancy soup you can choose from two kinds. Oh and pick up a few bread rolls also.
For the mains you need to take your ticket to the chef and they will carve the meet for you, then you get to help yourself to lashing of potatoes, veg & sauces. Once you have filled your actual face with food, you can take you dessert ticket to the dessert counter and choose from one of the luscious cakes or pies.
You obviously pay for your own drinks from the bar, but there is unlimited supplies of water and tea or coffee.
There are lots of staff about, however, they could benefit from smiling every once in a while. I found they were terribly cold towards us and when we asked for a jug of water, it was just set on the table. there was no small talk or friendliness such as a "there you go" or "Can i get your anything else".
