Honestly never really an issue with this particular Fedex distribution center over the last 20 or…read moreso years of interacting with them in-person. 20 years ago I went here to pick up several boxes of electronic comms gear I routinely rent for supporting events at the CT Convention Center because they were delayed at delivering to the convention center. A few days later I went back to this facility to ship all the gear back to Boston; they all got there on time and in good condition just fine. Now coincidentally, every time I order a phone and it's shipped Fedex, the driver can't find my address. This happens regularly for drivers who are unfamiliar with the layout of the complex (I've had plenty of Amazon Prime drivers call me looking for my door while circling the complex), so I'm only going to deduct 1 star for that. The first time this happened with a phone I was able to successfully have them ship it next day to the Walgreens near my apartment. Recently, I just paid for overnight shipping for a phone since I needed it before a certain date and the driver couldn't find my address and they wouldn't let me cross ship it to Walgreens for pickup again for some reason. Now, I had a credit card shipped overnight not too long ago and they found my apartment just fine, so next-day delivery drivers are probably all from the same pool. Anyway, I called the Fedex 1-800 number the next morning, which happened to be a Saturday; the call center guy agrees with the tracking website that the package has been returned back to 100 Old Country (for Fedex destinations in the greater Hartford area, pretty much every package originating from out of state ends up at 100 Old Country at some point), so I drive up and it was actually there.

Okay in ways it has some stuff like coffee, food, lottery, alcohol & even printing/shipping capacity & this is an asset if say (my case so) you have to make copies of your ID for tax purposes so you can mail out & they even got it plus they show you what they've done so you can tell them if okay or not but they will make sure it's right & properly done. My case was low cost & even if you have to pay a slight fee for a card nevertheless no complaints from me & they even sent a text with receipt in so you can mark on your statement. Now you know.

BEWARE - RECONSIDER WORKING HERE…read more I was hired as a Part Time worker for UPS. A couple days ago, I had contracted Covid. I took precautions such as, quarantine for 4 work days and had informed our Supervisor Vaughn through Messages (phone number). They said I was let go because it was only a seasonal position - mind you, it was never said on emails, in orientation, or anywhere else. I believe they fired me because I got covid. What's even WORSE: We were told $18 an hr (everyone that was at my orientation) and nobody knew what we were talking about. * I stayed and they honored it. Showing up to work to be told that you can go home sometimes within 1st minute - 1 hour. * one time the supervisor did text us saying we didn't have to show up. They took advantage of not just me- other people too. By NEVER informing us it was SEASONAL. * Many company's can get lawsuits for (WRONGFUL) CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL- Look up the definition * Our supervisor also, if you missed a day, the next workday, he would move you to a different position that wasn't your normal area just to make the time being there worse for you. Not only has this happened to me BUT OTHER PEOPLE TOO
