This location was horrible. They had a lot of outdated clothing and not enough stock of clothing at this Ross. It's located in a nice area but nothing much to buy in current fashions. Service was good and prices are always reasonable when they do have something you like. Easy parking. read more

this is one of my favorite Ross stores. I love to go for my lunch break. You are always greeted when you walk in the door. I love that the store is always clean and organized. I love their fragrance selection always have plenty to choose from. same with shoes and self-care products. I always walk out with a good deal great value. Like any Ross you gotta dig to find the gold. Sometimes you'll come up with something and other times it just wasn't meant to be. As for this specific Ross it seems to be one of the better ones in scv since it's a little tucked away. The last time I went here though it was slim pickings, like the stock of new items hadn't rolled in yet. But they do have a variety of clothes, shoes, accessories and home decor. read more

We brought our dogs to the trip to LA. On the way, we were looking for some pet supplies. This location had so many pet clothes, toys, and food to choose from. I noticed they had a huge floor for clothes. The items were neatly stocked and easily to navigate. read more

Popped into Ross to pick a few last minute items! Just about everybody loves a great deal! This is my favorite Ross ever! From the Welcoming you get upon entering the store to the help always receive on the sales floor I have always found what I've needed and never an issue when requesting help from the secured items in the display! Price point perfection is always appreciated and honestly I do enjoy shopping at this Ross location best because I always find what I'm looking for and then some! I absolutely adore the employees here and they are always willing to help you without hesitation even when they are in the middle of doing something! The employees can be seen working throughout the store to keep it in tip top shape! Racks of clothes are always full with incredible fashion choices to chooses from! Accessories and beauty sections: endless possibilities from high end brands to affordable brands. They do have restrooms and they are always clean and available upon request as well! I really would like to take this opportunity to recognize my cashier Rachel once again! This employee has always worked very hard all while giving best customer service and with a smile! She is professional and very knowledgeable She definitely goes above and beyond! Please recognize such greatness it is because of employees like her here at this Ross that customers continue to do their shopping at this location and because the sales floor always stocked with such great items! She kept telling me a refund wasn't possible and when I went in again later in the night, I had no problem getting a refund. Maybe she was just having a bad day or something. read more

the staff is so rude here, ive been to this location more than i can count and everytime there is something wrong with it, this time was because of them closing 4 hours earlier than they were supposed to lean the floor, I just feel like they should put that on there google maps so people who have things to do won't have to go there to find out that they are closed. Stopped in while in the area. Ashley, the store "loss prevention " person was so friendly, greeted me right away. The only cashier open had the worst attitude. She was standing in the Customer Service section, and being the only cashier, I walked up to her. She never uttered a word to me, turned and just walked away to a register two aisles over. Ashley even said something (jokingly) to her about how rude she was. She then flipped her middle finger up at Ashley. But it was so rude, matches her attitude! If you hate people then Customer Service just isn't a great choice in jobs and not a good look for Ross. The nice young lady who helped me with my earrings actually walked up and rung my stuff up for me (forgot her name). Because it was an awkward situation. The store itself was clean and I found a few things. Not sure that I would make a special trip back there. read more

Been shopping here for years. Sadly the service has really gone downhill from what it used to be. The staff doesn't ever seem properly trained nor are they helpful. Lots of turnover for some reason. The last time I was there I was treated very rudely by a young man who didn't seem to have the time or desire to help me. read more

I usually come here for shoes when not feeling up to the drive to DSW in Northridge. And on my last visit, found the right workout FILA's within a very short time for $19.00. During past visits I had become very despondent about the shrinking choice of men's clothing, but on my most recent shoe search noticed that the store had been totally rearranged, men now to the left, previously to the right. And apparently restocked. I noticed a seemingly wider variety of men's wear while passing through to the shoe racks and was impressed by what I saw. This is my wife's FAVORITE store.. The staff here are always extremely friendly and helpful. Today, I purchased some pants around 11am. The lady monitoring the changing rooms went out of her way to assist me. I checked out with cashier Bibi. Bibi remembered my wife and my occupation . (Who remembers customers and their spouses these days???) I left Ross, about thirty minutes later I realized I was missing my credit card. As soon as I returned to Ross and walked in the door, Bibi says to me, "we have your credit card." What a stress reliever!!! These people at Ross ARE THE BEST! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. The staff at this store are the reason why my family are very loyal customers. read more

"Do you love it? I love it. I got it at Ross" always plays in my head when I come here. I always get mad at myself when I buy something for more money elsewhere and then come to stores like Ross and see a similar product for fractions of the cost. For instance, they have step stools here in super cute colors for $24 when they cost over $30 (and weren't in cute colors) at Lowes. Their clearance section for men's clothing was pretty small and they didn't sell many vases/outdoor pots (or they were out). Other than that, I really enjoyed this store. They sold lots of cool and useful items. I got a Goo Gone all purpose cleaner and didn't even know Goo Gone made that product! I also got a pack of 500 straws for under $5. They have a 10% off discount on Tuesdays if you're 55 or older. I got a cute and modern lamp here for $40. They also had a good selection of rugs. Clothes makes up the majority of what they sell. There is plenty of parking here. The shelves weren't super organized but it may have been because it was toward the end of the day. I love how affordable their clothes are. read more

Well I have to say that I am truly impressed!?!?! I hate Ross and Marshalls because the stores usually look like they have been looted during a riot but not here. Everything is organized and in order, unlike the valley locations. I have to admit that when my wife says she wants to go to Ross or Marshalls, I have more anxiety then that of sitting in the dentists chair getting my tooth drilled for a root canal!!! Not here though. This place really changed my perspective on discount stores but I will still avoid the valley locations because they really suck (mostly because of the customers!). This store is the worst customer service I have ever had in any Ross store . First I stopped by to pick up a car charger because mine was broken and some towels for a bridal shower gift . I came here because my daughters practice was nearby . I went to the front to ask to use the bathroom , the customer service rep. Shooed me away with her hand and said go over there because someone would be there in a minute . When I tried to tell her there were 4 people waiting for about 15 minutes already she told me she heard me the first time , and raised her voice this time "go, shoo ". I was appalled , I asked her name and for a manager she told me to go look at the board by the front . First , I was waiting for the bathroom so of course I'm not going to lose my place in line , second when I walked out I asked an associate that was siting there ( door was open ) who there manager was , she was very polite and said she didn't know because she was new there . It gets worse , as I was standing in line , the same lady Stephanie "current store manager " yelled at me that I was crazy , and told customers in line I was crazy and she's not gonna stand for it ??!!!! What in the heck , is this how customer service training is at this store ? I then found out that the district manager name is Caesar from the ales associate at the front desk that apologized for her managers behavior .. Unbelievable , skip this store it's ghetto , and very unprofessional . If you don't like working in Customer Service then get another job .. So sad read more

As a regular customer at this store, I must say that today was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had at a Ross store. A sales associate at the fitting room named 'NELISSA' acted in a very rude and unprofessional manner towards my sister and I. It was 10:03pm and we were ready to try on 2 dresses for a birthday event tomorrow. As we approached the fitting room, she gave us a snarky attitude and yelled, "Nope we're closed!" She gave us a dirty look and walked away. We both paused with disbelief. Did she really just do that? I went to the front cashier and asked to speak to a manager. However there was not one. I asked if I can please just try on 2 dresses, that was all. We never received an announcement or notice that fitting rooms close at 10. Plus we were only 3 minutes late! Really? Anyhow, the lady spoke through and earpiece to let Nelissa know that we can try on the dresses. We came back and she was NOT at the fitting rooms. I walk around the aisles and see her on her phone. I tell her we are ready to try on clothes. She continued to walk away ignoring me and laughing. I was in disbelief at this point. Is this really happening? Then a gentlemen, whom I forgot his name, came and allowed me and my sister in. The attitude and childish behavior was unacceptable. As we walked out the door I told her, 'Your behavior was that of a 2 year old' to which she began laughing and said, "I don't care!" Instead of an apology to say 'I'm sorry for the inconvenience' she continued on with her poor attitude and demeanor. None of the sales associates apologized on her behalf or even acknowledge this behavior as well. I will be taking this matter all the way to corporate. Her childish behavior and unprofessional manner needs to be acknowledged and dealt with. It seems as though management just simply allows their employees to talk/act how they please. read more

I really love to shop at Ross. Nothing like finding designer clothes for a fraction of the price. However, this location has a very poor selection in every department. For being in Valencia I would expect a better variety. Customer service is fine and there are always enough cashiers open during busy times. Parking is never an issue since there is plenty of lot parking available. My wife has more fun at this store than I do. Thank god for smart phones and video games! read more

Horrible customer service. I purchased items and forgot to ask for Tuesday discount. I literally walked out the door and back in to ask for the discount. Had to wait in line once again even though there was a cashier available at the time I walked back in. I think they need a few classes on how customer service to learn how to treat people equally. read more

They advertisa their dress event, but there was slim pickins for us PLUS SIZE women, I did find a navy blue cover up for a casual dress I found at the Vegas Ross. Service was good. Reginald was the cashier, and announced to everyone in the line behind me, that if they remove the hangers and place them on the bars conveniently by the line, the line would move faster. This Ross is pretty big in comparison to the Valencia one. It's also full of more stuff, in general, and they have a lot of clearance items, generally speaking. Service is always very friendly, too. We've gone twice so far (albeit late at night), and it hasn't been crowded at all. I prefer this one to the Valencia location, so far. I just feel like they have more variety and more goods in general. read more

I visited Ross Dress for Less store on July 21, 2021. This store that I visited is located at 1111 E Army Post Rd, Des Moines, Iowa. I had a bad experience with the employee that was on duty. I was looking at clothes and some pillows for about 10 minutes and the terrible employee told me that I had to leave because she thought I wasn't going to buy anything. She was very rude and she shouldn't work there. She claimed that the restroom was out of order. It was a very bad experience for me and I hope you can hire more qualified employees in the future. read more

They really need to hire new employees who care about actually having a job and keeping it. Horrible attitudes and customer service even from "managers". The register froze when the cashier was checking me out and her boss comes over saying what did you do to your register, it's only when you use it, idk what to tell you. As the cashier was trying to tell her I owed her 70 cents out of a 5 her boss kept saying okay so she needs 70 cents change. Like no that isn't the situation, if you'd actually care to help out and teach your employee you would have heard her trying to explain it to you. So rude. And unprofessional to treat employees in such a way even more so in front of a customer. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I'm so shocked and upset with this Ross that I used to love so much. I had a pretty mermaid makeup brush cup that fell out of my car and broke. I purchased it on 4/19 so I'm well within the 30 day return. This happened on May 17th.The tags were still on the product. I NEVER had the chance to use it. It didn't even leave my car. My boyfriend went in for me and at first they said that we needed the receipt which I gave him and he went back in. Then they said how they couldn't do anything because it's not their responsibility after what happens to it out of the store. Like as if we were blanking them or something. There were two mid age ladies he talked to. Both didn't give much help just kept repeating the same thing. They didn't help at all, but gave attitude to him. So he went around to see if he could find another one. One of the older lady cashier ended up following him to tell him "doubt you'll find another" which was no help AND the security guy was following him too which was uncalled for. Following people like that in the store makes it super uneasy and uncomfortable. Think my boyfriend was going to freaking steal?! Also when he went to look he over heard one of them asked the other, "Did you give him a discount at least?" And the other replied with a snarky, "No I'm not going to give him a discount or anything." Anyways, I decided to go to the Ross in Canyon Country, which is where I originally bought it from. The security guy was super friendly and sweet. The cashier that ACTUALLY helped me was amazing. I should of got of his name, I had NO PROBLEMS returning it there. Got my FULL money back. The security guy gave me such a nice goodbye too! I was so upset so I went back to this Ross to get the names of those two middle aged women that gave my boyfriend attitude and didn't help. He showed me one of them which was an overweight middle age Latina woman with a black messy bun. The other woman wasn't there, but I went in and funny how there were these other two people trying to return something and she turned them away too. I should of told them to go to the Ross in CC. When it was my turn I asked for her name which she never wanted to give to me. I had to look over and I'm 99% pretty sure her name was Martha or something like that. Definitely started with a M. Didn't see the last number. If a customer asks for your name, you give it, but she seriously wouldn't tell me. She asked why and tried to play it as if it was someone else who "helped" him and was telling me how they were telling him it's not their responsibility. She said it wasn't her yet my boyfriend literally pointed her to me. I held up my return receipt and told her how I was able to return it at the other Ross no problem. She then told me "Good for you", with attitude as well. I was more upset and left, there were people behind me as I was leaving and the security guy told the people behind me to have a good day. Nothing to me? Wow ok. This used to be my favorite Ross and I have never had problems like these before. I even once returned shoes that were over the 30 day return over there. I went there all the time with my mother. I decided to call and ask for the manager and guess what? I got hung up on. Called again and was on a hold for a bit. I heard "line one line one" then was told that she was busy and if I wanted I can wait. So I did and got hung up AGAIN. So now I'm doing this on Google then Yelp and then reach Ross to report this store. This isn't even a great Ross. Lots of stuff broken and missing, not a lot of stuff compared to the other Ross. Pretty dirty and the changing rooms suck. I'll even find dirty clothes there. I went there because it was close and it seemed fine before, but after this, I'm never coming back to THIS Ross. I spend good money there, usually over $100 every time, and this Ross was so stingy about $5.99. Even when I told the nice cashier in CC, they were surprised that the other Ross didn't help. Such attitudes over that amount? No manager picking up? Yea Martha good for me I got a full refund instead of nothing but attitude. This has been the worse experience of my life. I ask to try on shoes with dresses in the fitting room. They treated me like a criminal. They said no you have to come out. I had 4 dresses and there are no mirrors out of the dressing room. So what are you suppose to do? Maria P the fitting room was extremely rude. I asked for a manager or supervisor and said she was at lunch. I went to the front and Roxanne said she was supervisor. Maria the fitting room attendant lied.
