Shop is reasonably large, but not as big as the old location. Has a fair new pull and wall book selection. Longbox selection is good, with a few cheap boxes spread around the shop. Toys and collectibles are light. Golden Eagle seems to concentrate now on Magic: The Gathering with a somewhat large selection. During my stop, a Magic tournament was ongoing, making the shop a little crowded. There is additional gaming space in the back, separate from the main shop. Employees were helpful during my visit, answering several questions. Overall, I'd call this shop a 3.5, but rounding it up to a 4, and worth a stop.

The selection seems to be ok if not a little on the conventional side. There are tons of tables everywhere in the back which immediately told me this store is much more dedicated to the Magic geeks than the comic geeks, like me. This is a real turn off for me as these types of shops usually support more of the card business in this day. More money in that, I guess. So when I asked the counter monkeys for certain non big two books, they looked at me like I spoke a different language. So that confirmed my card thoughts. Bottom line is, this is a Magic store first that just happens to have a large inventory of comic back issues. They clearly do well with their card tournament because they are still open in a lightly travelled mall. The service seems friendly enough and probably knows a ton about Magic cards. Maybe they lack the comic knowledge. If you want Marvel or DC or Magic cards and live near the mall, this might be a decent option. Otherwise, I might try the store in town. They seem to know comics a little better.

The whole complex looks dated, but don't judge this location on it's looks from the outside. Inside of the store is nice, clean, organized, and well stocked. There were very few empty shelves. This Ollie's has one major issue: Store is WAY too small. There is nowhere near enough space between any of the aisles, with most being only one cart wide, making the shopping experience difficult. There is nowhere near enough queue space behind the registers. Ollie's needs to lease the vacant 13,000 sq ft storefront next door and expand into it. Overall, this could be a standout Ollie's if it had more space. Still worth a stop.

Their shoe selection and their junior tops/tanks are lacking some variety though the racks are definitely full. I found some cute shorts, skinny jeans, and off-the-shoulder tee for under $50. The lady in the fitting room when I first went in was extremely nice; however, once I came out, there was a scowling younger girl in her place that grabbed and counted each hanger in my hand without so much as a how-do-you-do to make sure I came out with the items I came in with. If she had been my first impression of the store, I would have dropped everything on the floor in the fitting room and left empty handed. The girl at the register was also polite, so I'm hoping the second fitting room girl with an obvious problem with her job gets it together some time soon since I wasn't the only one who felt she was rude (I overheard someone complain in the fitting room)

Renninger's is part farm market, antique market, and flea market that's only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking is located on all sides of the building with entrances everywhere. One thing that overall impressed me was the lack of empty booths, with all but a handful occupied by at least something. The farm market portion had various vendors with prepared foods, barked goods, and a few fruit/vegetable vendors. The antique portion had a wide variety of vendors; the setup is almost all booth style. Saw items including military collectables, glassware, media, coins, racing merchandise, and comic books. This portion had a little bit of everything. The flea market vendors are out back under pavilions but were already packing up by early afternoon. If you are a local, a trip to Renninger's could be worth a stop once a month. Would I travel a longer distance to come here? Probably not.

I consulted my handy dandy Yelp app and found that there was this Goodwill right nearby! Awesome! So off I go This Goodwill is in a larger shopping center serving a more rural area. There are some larger/big box stores, some smaller stores and this Goodwill, which was a good sized store. It was pretty easy to find and there is parking right out front, which was extra good as it was a rainy day Inside the store was easy to navigate, with good sized space in between aisles and you don't really have to go through one section to get to another, which is super nice. For example, you don't have to get through clothing to get to housewares. I headed over to the housewares, which was as typical arranged by color. I found a mix of things I was interested in and things I was not, however there were no broken items or things in poor condition. I then cruised over to clothing, where there were some nice pieces, however as it seems to be with the Goodwill stores in general in our area, I found the pricing was a bit high for the items they had. Still some bargains to be found, if you want to hunt I found checkout to be quite easy, and the staff to be pleasant and unobtrusive. The store was clean and well lit I am certain that should we be out in this area again, this Goodwill will be on my list of places to check out.

Recently I took a vacation day and was camping in the area and decided to check them out. Much to my surprise they have a private parking lot in the back. From the back entry there was a porch that had some free items that didn't meet their resale requirements. Inside was a vestibule with $1 clothing that had minor blemishes on. On the tags that I took the time to look at it was written what was wrong which I thought was nice. The deal of the day was ladies tops which were half off. Inside the shop I was greeted by two older ladies sitting at chairs chatting. The overall store is about the size of an efficiency apartment and is a very narrow space. The organization was done well and knick knacks were proudly displayed. There were probably about 8 customers in the tiny space, plus myself and the two clerks which felt like a crowd in such a narrow space. It was impossible to social distance. Ladies clothing and knick knacks dominated the store Children's clothing, toys, and housewares were very limited. While browsing the racks I did find several tops, all half off, as well as some jeans for $3. Prices were very reasonable. The dressing room is part of the bathroom, which seemed to also be a kitchen as it had a microwave in it, and also a toothbrush at the sink. Overall with the ladies sitting and talking at the entrance, to the personal items in the bathroom it felt like I was in someone's house. At that point I didn't know if this was a charity room thrift store, or just someone selling used, donated items for profit. However at the register they did have a sign showing how much money the store has donated to various charities over the years and it was impressive. When I told the cashier I can't believe there wasn't any Yelp reviews they had no idea what Yelp was! Probably not a regular stop for me during COVID due to the distancing aspect but worth checking out if you're not concerned.
