I've been to many Goodwills because I love thrifting! I figured I would stop in to see what this location had inventory wise. I was shocked by their great selection! Although you really have to hunt and their sizes aren't really organized; isn't that the fun of thrifting?! Besides, the items are organized by color and style so that makes it nice and a bit easier. I'll definitely be back for more thrifting fun :)

[687] I'm so mad at myself for passing this place dozens of times and never stopping in. The strip mall looks like it's falling apart with some abandon looking buildings but don't let that scare you like It did me. This by far is my favorite good will store ever. Everything is nicely organized by color. This store is the dumping ground for target clearance items so you will find a TON of new items. I saw $5 new puddle jumpers which I purchased a de years ago at $20 a pop I do think like most goodwills the clothes a little overpriced so wait for sales I picked up a few cool items I'll definitely be back

First time here after hearing good things from a friend, so expectations were cautiously optimistic…read moreand overall, this place delivered... with a few caveats. Let's start with the good stuff. This store is absolutely massive. And the carts? Chef's kiss. Smooth, solid, high-quality carts that roll like butter. Think Target carts, not the janky, squeaky chaos you usually get at thrift stores. I appreciated that more than I expected to. Prices were mostly average. Not amazing, not outrageous. Vans were around $14.99, which isn't great but also not the worst I've seen lately. Home goods weren't huge, but the section was decent and worth a look. I didn't find any jaw-dropping designer labels, but I did find some solid pieces for myself, so it wasn't a wasted trip. Bonus points because they were running orange tags at 75% off, which definitely helped soften the pricing sting. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm already in the area. Would I make a 45-minute drive just for this store again? Probably not. Overall, CommunityAid Temple is clean, well-organized, easy to shop, and way less stressful than a lot of thrift stores. Not a holy grail, but a solid stop that's worth checking out especially during tag sales.

I'm a huge fan of their sister location in New Holland, so when I learned a new location was…read moreopening closer to home I was estatic and added it to my calendar. Unfortunately an odd snowstorm derailed the original March opening weekend, but I was still able to visit a few days later. Their grand opening is scheduled for this weekend with a schedule full of special events. If you are a tried and true thrift enthusiast, always looking for the best deal, to be honest this location is not for you. I'm one of those people and was a little taken back by their pricing. Let's touch on that for a moment.....prices are not horrible, but they are horrible compared to what I'm used to. THIS IS A BOUTIQUE THRIFT STORE. The staff even told me so, and is geared towards the tourist crowd, or those folks that might not otherwise purchase good second hand. At first glance, you won't know you're in a thrift store by the merchandise offerings and elevated displays and that's kind of the point. It's beautiful and their "better" name donations will end up here moving forward. It's evident someone with a skilled eye is responsible for the store layout and displays, which are beautiful. Parking is ample in their own lot. Hours are limited as of now but that could change when tourist season is in full swing. They will NEVER be open on Sundays, as they are a christian based ministery and the stores raise funds for addicts and their recovery.. What you won't find here is a huge selection, but adequate, the best of the best. Housewares unless it's higher end or decorative. A second floor is currently being renovated for future expansion, and the staff are wonderfull. Although it's not a store that will be on my thrift rotation due to the fact that I'm a resller and can't make money on retail prices but a lovely store I'd recommend for anyone looking to dip their toes into the reused world.

It's like a jewelry grab bag with each vessel filled to the brim with tons of jewelry. They are extremely reasonably priced. How fun it will be to get home and discover the treasures that await! The store is very clean put together by a master organizer.

My nose was running and I thought it was due to all the older stuff in the store but turns out the store is dog friendly. The dog was sitting out the counter as I walked out. I do have to say I love dogs but not a fan of them being in store and especially on counters I won't be back

I stumbled across this "thrift" store on an outing thrifting in the area. I was searching for kids…read moreclothing and toys, as well as always on the lookout for Little Mermaid and unicorn items for my granddaughter. Their "sister" store is a few miles down route 23 on the opposite side of the street. The clerk at this location told me go there for the items I was searching for. After being at both locations and reading Cindy's review and viewing her pictures I think her review is for the other store; Lucky Dog thrift. This store, although run down, cluttered, and more of a co-op is not organized but is better than the pictures depict. A few parking spots line the side of the building, which is run down. An abandoned store is next door. Although items weren't as jam packed and cluttered as the pictures it wasn't the greatest as far as organization. Isles (if that's what you want to call it) are narrow and maybe booths representing different vendors although not outlined as such. Fragile items and glassware are in abundance so do be very aware of your large handbag. I wouldn't even think to take a child in here. Overall the place is dusty and musty. Prices are very low, like yard sale prices. There's a table of jewelry for $2 each or 3 for $5 that are worth a look. Vintage and current pieces alike are in that pile. Most of the inventory is vintage (like 70-90's) and nick knacks. I was able to find two porcelain unicorn figures for my granddaughter that I purchased for $1 apiece. It was extremely cold in there, to the point that you could see your breath, and the clerk had on her coat so I assume the building is not heated. The elderly clerk was very, very friendly and engaged in conversation with other customers. I was surprised that I wasn't charged tax. When I inquired she said they didn't have a "tax account" so they didn't collect it. I probably shouldn't be advertising this but that was her response. The store looked and felt like it was there forever so I doubt they opened recently and assume they've been selling like that for some time. I hesitate to call this thrift because clearly it's a co-op/junk store. You won't find clothes or toys unless they're from the 70-90's and what I did see had condition issues. If you're into knick knacks and glassware and enjoy rummaging through inventory this is your spot. For me it was a miss and I wouldn't make a return visit.
